Super easy to find, check in and park. The person who checked me in went above and beyond to help with an issue that was not related to the hotel. Hotel was pretty empty so I can’t speak to noise between rooms. But it is just off the highway and I didn’t hear any road noise. Breakfast was good and started the day off right.

Having multiple trains pass 150 feet from my room at night was not good, otherwise, I was mostly satisfied. Being handicapped, it was easy to get from car to room and dining was close, even with my walker, I could walk to dining. The power outlets were totally worn out where I needed to power my medical equipment. I found a couple that seemed safe. Bad power outlets are a fire hazzard. It is pretty common to find worn out power outlets in rooms, but accessible rooms where medical equipment needs reliable power should get more attention to replacing them.

The staff was really nice. The bathroom however did not appear to get cleaned. Still a used bar of soap, and partially used shampoo, and a dirty towel!! Crumbs in the mini fridge and the microwave was also dirty. The beds were pretty good. THE TRAIN...I know I read one or two reviews that mentioned the train but didn't realize it was a literally a thrown stone away from the hotel. The breakfast was nice to have. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage. The also have bagels and breads along with cereal. Juice, milk and coffee but not water from what I could tell (not a big deal). I probably won't stay again on account of the uncleaned shower and the train.

They very clearly neglect the cleanliness of each room after each stay. I’m not sure what the staff looks like for maintinence but our room had hardwood floor and it was disgusting. I have a 2 yr old so I was very disappointed to have him stay in that room and was nervous the whole time. Beds are stiff, pillows are stiff (only 2 pillows per bed as well) and the drains were clogged on our sink and bathtub. Tv didn’t seem to be working as well. We way way way overpaid for a disgusting uncomfortable room and didn’t get any sort of refund. Don’t stay here

The room was filthy. There was stuff spilled on and in the fridge and inside microwave. There was used coffee in the pot. Stains all over the floor. The enamel was worn off the toilet seat and tub. We laid our own blanket down on top of bed and slept on top with no pillow and left without showering as soon as daylight was up. There was alot of noise outside of window. I cant find how to post pictures but I have them.

My 1st room was not cleaned. Dirty towels left on bathroom floor. But the front staff was amazing and moved me to another room. Breakfast was not warm maybe the warmer isn’t working right. I stay every year at this time and every time it was 5 star. Not so much this year. I do have to commend the front desk they were great.

We stayed for four nights and there was someone staying in the room next to us who screamed and slammed around in his room all night long. Management first told us he would be out within an hour, then it was the next day. The guy never left and was loud every night and management did nothing. Our room was not cleaned the entire time we were there and when I mentioned this the house keeper said she had 19 other rooms and wouldn't get to ours (while she stood outside one of the rooms on her phone for 30 minutes). We had to go ask for towels each morning. Some of which we didn't use because they were dirty. Management will apologize, but then will do nothing and make excuses. This was the worst expierence that I have ever had while staying at a hotel and I will never stay there again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. If you have kids especially, do not stay there. They let sketchy people stay there for months at a time and anyone else staying there a few nights just has to deal with it.

So disgusting! Pulled down sheet and there was a brown spot. Took a wet cloth and wiped it. The stain came out. Pillow case had spots on it. Turned pillow over and a long black hair was on the pillow case. So went downstairs to tell staff and she gave us clean sheets and pillow cases. So we had to make our beds after a long day of traveling. Obviously the beds weren’t changed. Sticky stuff on bedside table. So disappointed and disgusted.

The man working was very friendly! The hotel… was next to a gas station where the roar of the Harley engines last until after 11pm. Our room was not very clean. There was a gum wrapper on the floor and pet food in the crease of the door.

There was nothing to like about this property. The room smelled terrible. Really terrible. So much stank that I bought an extra-large citronella candle at a nearby store and set it, (unlit) in front of the air conditioner, which helped somewhat. I think the carpet is the main problem because (I swear) it seemed almost sticky.

The rooms were clean and they are huge. Staff was really friendly and the front desk is staffed 24/7, which is unusual for non-chain hotels in this county. Your experience here will 100% depend on your fellow travelers. If you have someone noisy next to you, with rowdy kids and loud TV - you're not going to like your stay. If you have neighbors who comprehend the idea hotel walls are thin, you're going to have a good stay. My best advice is to bring earplugs. With earplugs in, this was a perfectly clean and convenient place to stay.

We stayed here previously due to it's convenience.to the highway However this time encountered a few inconveniences. The TV remote in the first room we were placed did not work at all. They couldn't fix it so moved us to another room. The remote in the new room worked EXCEPT for turning on and off & turning the sound up and down, so we had to control from back of the TV. The housekeeper didn't seem to check our room daily so we had to asked the front desk for towels, coffee and emptying the waste baskets. The front desk people were very accommodating and helpful. This may seem trivial to some who read this, but we were there for 6 nights. On a high note the room we stayed in was very large and well appointed. The price was reasonable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I think the issue here may be with the upper management not making sure everything worked as it should and staff had to deal with issues by themselves without much help. The price was treasonable and the rooms were clean. Also a great WiFi and breakfasts were typical fare but good.

Seemed overpriced for what is clearly a budget motel. Bed cover had a stain on it that they covered up with the coverlet. Lots of road noise and train whistles in the middle of the night.

Super easy to find, check in and park. The person who checked me in went above and beyond to help with an issue that was not related to the hotel. Hotel was pretty empty so I can’t speak to noise between rooms. But it is just off the highway and I didn’t hear any road noise. Breakfast was good and started the day off right.

My 1st room was not cleaned. Dirty towels left on bathroom floor. But the front staff was amazing and moved me to another room. Breakfast was not warm maybe the warmer isn’t working right. I stay every year at this time and every time it was 5 star. Not so much this year. I do have to commend the front desk they were great.

This place should be your last resort. The front desk staff was inefficient resulting in an unnecessarily long wait. Our room was outdated and had worn-out rugs and stained, dirty-looking chairs. In addition, furnishings, with dressers, side tables, and bath fixtures all appearing significantly worn down. The bed linens, both sheets and pillowcases, were all wrinkled as if someone slept in them. We wondered if they had been freshly laundered. The motel is outdated with very thin walls, so you hear TVs and conversations from nearby rooms and outside. Furthermore, the motel is located right next to a railroad. While the train runs sporadically, there is a nightly 2 AM train coming through town accompanied by blaring horns, making it impossible to have a restful sleep. Lastly, we had a chuckle with this but, there was a sign in the bathroom warning of a $25 charge for missing or stained towels. Who would steal already thin and worn condition towels from the room?

We were a group of 4 young women. We had a pleasant one-night stay, but my greatest compliment will be to the staff, and their honesty! An hour after we cehcked out and left I received a call from the place saying they found a wallet in our room - that belonged to one of us girls. We didn't want to miss our day trip, so we went back at night to get the wallet, and they kept it safe. Thank you again!

We stayed for four nights and there was someone staying in the room next to us who screamed and slammed around in his room all night long. Management first told us he would be out within an hour, then it was the next day. The guy never left and was loud every night and management did nothing. Our room was not cleaned the entire time we were there and when I mentioned this the house keeper said she had 19 other rooms and wouldn't get to ours (while she stood outside one of the rooms on her phone for 30 minutes). We had to go ask for towels each morning. Some of which we didn't use because they were dirty. Management will apologize, but then will do nothing and make excuses. This was the worst expierence that I have ever had while staying at a hotel and I will never stay there again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. If you have kids especially, do not stay there. They let sketchy people stay there for months at a time and anyone else staying there a few nights just has to deal with it.

The location is great for my work, central to multiple areas. I would consider staying here with my family if we were on a personal trip. Somewhat close to ocean beaches and not far from I-5. Easy on and off from Hwy 12.

Nice motel, friendly staff. Clean but a little worn down in spots. Very impressed with the service at breakfast, the employee worked very diligently to ensure everything was well stocked up until 9 (end of breakfast). Lots of variety: make your own waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, eggs, sausages, etc. Beds were soft, area is quiet except for the train (it went by around 9:30am). Room was a bit humid, it would have been nice if the AC unit had a dedicated dehumidify function.

The staff was really nice. The bathroom however did not appear to get cleaned. Still a used bar of soap, and partially used shampoo, and a dirty towel!! Crumbs in the mini fridge and the microwave was also dirty. The beds were pretty good. THE TRAIN...I know I read one or two reviews that mentioned the train but didn't realize it was a literally a thrown stone away from the hotel. The breakfast was nice to have. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage. The also have bagels and breads along with cereal. Juice, milk and coffee but not water from what I could tell (not a big deal). I probably won't stay again on account of the uncleaned shower and the train.

Be forewarned! This motel sits right next to a train track. Being a small town, there’s a section that doesn’t have a caution gate so the engineer honks excessively to warn people. The train passed around 10:30 pm and again at 5 am. It’s ironic that in the guest rules and regulations book is says to keep the noise level down after 10 pm yet a actual train rolls on by at all hours. There are literal cobwebs with spiders at every light fixture along the pathway to the rooms. The room smelled musky which is probably why everyone’s window was open. The freezer section of the mini fridge was filled with built up ice and needs to be defrosted and checked. Given the condition of the room and facilities, we chose not to partake in the free continental breakfast that is offered.

I was quite impressed with the place, beds were comfy, clean and close to a restaurant that has great food. And a convenience store right next door was a plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we were on motorcycles so being able to walk places was a plus also.

Room was missing light. We took another lamp from the other room. Room wasn't clean enough. Noisy from the outside traffic and trains. Staff couldn't help regarding our travel plans. Breakfast was nice.

They were completely understaffed to host breakfast. The person running the front desk was also responsible for furnishing breakfast items. To her credit she did far and above what one would expect a single person to do, In spite of her efforts breakfast was steadily underserved.

Place was a dump. Old and unmaintained Took forever to check in but I was the only one checking in. No quarters for the laundry. Had to go to the gas station next door to get change. Woke up from a dead sleep at 1:30 in the morning from a train whistle. The breakfast was almost unedible . $25 a night would be more like it, LOL
