Relax Inn

Lighting outside the room made it very hard to sleep. The front desk/cleaner at the time kicked me out of my room 4 hours before checkout time and kept following me around demanding a tip-even walking me to the atm when I told him I didn't have cash! I had to sneak over to my car while he wasn't looking to leave....Already trying to figure out if I could get a refund for this horrible experience!

I had problems with the entrance card key. If you don’t hold the card just right it won’t open.

The property refused to give us a king bed smoke free. Told us they would refund everything and we could go elsewhere. Then as im finding another place. They miraculously find a smoke free king size bed for 2 days. Claims they will bump the next person. Food was cereal and grab and goes. There were 2 stink bugs and a fly in our room. 1 light next to bed didnt work and outlet was out from the wall. Bed and pillows were great.

Staff was very friendly and room was fairly clean. Can’t expect more than this for the price. The only issue was there were people hanging out and partying at the parking lot right infront of the rooms. Some of them didn’t seem like guests at the hotel. They were noisy too. Didn’t feel safe to me. Otherwise the inn was okay.

The down stairs rooms appeared to be rented to long trem residents. There was a brown powder on the outside of the refrigerator and under the door of the refrigerator on the floor. The bottom of the shower curtain rod appeared to have mold on it. The key card had to be tapped several times before the door would unlock.

Asked for a1st floor room was told none were available yet no vehicles in parking lot. Walked around the building to see several people sitting outside and rooms that looked as they were daily lived in. Didn’t feel comfortable staying at this hotel so went to different hotel and lost the money paid in advance.

Very comfortable, clean and everything in working order. I would definitely stay there again.

The room had a smell that I can't describe, we bought stuff to try to cover it. Next my wife is disabled and the shower is not special just regular shower tub. No seat, no shower head with hose, no special handle at entering of tub. Had to buy my own tub accessories to use in tub. Then a cob web was hanging in corner of room above the door just as you walk in. Killed the spider. The bed linens are had stains, gross. Then the manager, I asked to confirm the check out was 11am, still stopped bybmy room at 9am asking if we was staying longer and if not could we leave within 20 minutes fir cleaning. I don't recommend this place.

Surprisingly modern and clean room, based on plain exterior appearance of the property. Friendly check-in and stores/restaurants within easy walking distance. perfect for a quick overnight along I-70. Excellent value for the rate.

The room was grotesquely dirty. Poop on the ceiling, hair in the tub, toilet, wall, and doorknob. Dirty tissues discarded with clothes tags and empty bags under the bed. Filthy floor with dirt, dust and some white powdery substance. Refrigerator ticked. There was no chain lock on the door. It was a nightmare. We were given a different room and told it had two Queen-sized beds, but they were not, they were only full-size beds. We had booked a three bedroom, which was two queens and a twin. Not two Full’s and a roll away. The breakfast bar was small with only mini honeybuns and tiny muffins from a box of generic brand cakes purchased at Save A Lot for under $2.00. No coffee. Nothing that an adult would consider a continental breakfast. This was aimed at children. The attendant didn't care one way or another and didn't act shocked when I told him of the condition of the room. I was appalled! I would recommend staying away from this hotel/motel at all costs. The reviews I read were extremely misleading. We were awake most of the night, there was no way we were taking a shower there, and we left as soon as we got up the next morning.

Be careful if booking only through Expedia. Booked twice within a week since I was on a roadtrip. The first time the guy at the desk checked me in without any issues. The second time I booked the exact same way I did the first time and he wanted to charge me an additional $99 for “early check in” which is crazy because I wasn’t told about this last time. I was then told I can pay walk in price and to contact Expedia for refund. I contacted them and they started the refund process, I was traveling with my husband and my 8 month old baby. It was around 3am, we paid the walk in price because we were too tired to keep driving. He never mentioned that I had to CANCEL the booking and that the property itself would have to issue said refund. Now here I am, still fighting with the property for my refund. Do not recommend. They will give you a run for your money for semi outdated rooms that all have weird smell and stained bathrooms

The property was extremely dirty. There were stains all over the bedding it looked like the room hadn't been cleaned in a month. Dust and trash all over the carpet. The shower did not work we had no hot water and there was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. I had asked to switch rooms and they declined. I will never stay here again I do not recommend anyone. I'm honestly not sure how the health department hasn't shut it down. The pictures are extremely inaccurate on the condition of not only the rooms but the hotel itself.

Relatively low cost hotel with very clean facilities

Very comfortable, clean and everything in working order. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a decent place to spend the night when our niece got married. The room and bathroom were a little small, but the beds were fairly cozy. It was a nice surprise to find a refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board. It helped us refresh our wrinkled dress clothes for the wedding. The hot water came and went a little. The people running the motel were nice. They found my daughter's necklace that she had left behind and kept it at the front desk for us. They were quite helpful and had good communication. They called us back when they located the necklace. It was a pleasant stay.

The internet was terrible. The walls were so thin you could hear everything, including another guest outside his room talking loudly at 6am. The same guest blocked the very narrow balcony walkway making it nearly impossible to get passed when leaving.

The people were great. Easy inn. Easy out. Allowed early checkin for a minimal fee. Room was clean. Nice hot shower water. The breakfast was a bit generic but still had everything I needed. I will stay again if I'm back in the area. Thank you for a great stay!!!

Stay was just what we needed. Place to stay while moving out of house. Did not have a coffee pot in room.

When I walked to the check-in counter, I noticed a strong smell. I could not identify it, but it was present at check out as well. For those who are sensitive to smells, it could bother. Again, in the room I noticed a smell which I could not identify. It was different than the one at the counter and not as strong. I stopped noticing it after a few minutes. The room was clean and comfortable (honestly, better than I expected). The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was pathetic, even for a continental breakfast. There were only three choices of packaged pastries, and all of the choices were small in size. Seriously, the muffins were one bite. Only one kind of fruit. If breakfast is important to you, do not come here. If you are just looking for an inexpensive, comfortable night, this place should work for you.

Room was very crowded with 3 beads. Beds were very uncomfortable. Breakfast was nonexistent. Very minimal selection. Ended uo going to McDonalds across the street. For what I paid for the room i would not stay again.

This old chain hotel that has been flipped is very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

Management was available and helpful to our needs. We enjoyed the brief overnight stay.

Somethings that stood out was breakfast was better than I expected, the room was ok it could have been worse honestly, staff for most part were nice other than a misunderstanding between myself and them but at least they worked out with me on the phone. If your expecting motel 6 or super 8 those types places this isn't that but if your looking to save some money you have access to a McDonald's or gas station right in the area which is nice if your wanting to not go far as for the rest traffic didn't bother me area was lit well they do charge you a hold of 50 bucks if any damages than if all goes well your supposed to be refunded after you check out what not.

We always stay at this location when traveling. Price is good and staff always very nice.
