As always, great stay. This time we stayed more than one night. Only issue is and very minor is the shades do not block out 100% of the outdoor lights. While dark in room, not perfect dark as some may like, but could always bring own eye shades. Rooms are very clean, comfortable bed, great bathroom. Been years since you could park a large truck at property, but a business down the street allows truck parking and with us always having a regular size car or truck we are good.

Went just for the night! Went to Morgan wallen concert! This is definitely a clean, safe, nice place to stay for the night. Or a few nights if you don’t care about pools and all that! Front desk guy was very nice and helpful! Would 10/10 stay here again!

Stay was good. Room was recently updated and very clean. Plenty of room . Management was very nice Downfall only an overhead light. Would have been good to have a light on the nightstand between the beds. Windows needed a pull down blind behind them as you could see around the outside blind the way they were away from the wall. Needs a new ice maker for the complex. No permanent lid and does not make enough ice for several people to use

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nicely renovated..a few small details yet to be completed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not a bad price for the area. No place for a breakfast area, but would have been nice to have bagels, donuts & coffee machine in lobby. Coffee maker in room didn't work.

The manager was very nice, check in was quick and easy. Although they are remodeling, we did get a room that was half done. No amenities were in the room except for the coffee. No blow dryer, so the second day I looked awful. Ice machine didn't work. The motel did have a picnic area with a grill and fire pit. The manager fished around for some wood for us. All in all, our stay was good. Would like to go back to see the finished rooms.

Property does not provide frills that I would rather not pay for - I like that. It would be nice if they provided a sheet with close by dining options (like Subway, groceries). I like its location regards being able to get I-90 quickly.

Perfect gem on US 20 in Painesville. Owner is a very nice and accomodating gentleman. The place from the road is quaint and charming and the place is tastefully updated. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Bed was terrific, firm and comfy as well. No extra frills and pricey anemities so it is economical. Really great family diner nearby..The Perry Family Restaurant. Great food and very nice staff. Motel is convenient to Cleveland, Ashtabula and points in between. A new go to for me when visiting family.

Price was right. Very clean. FYI -Not a big deal but no hair dryers, one very small bar of soap, bathroom door won't close all the way. Other than that quite adequate.

The room was a really good price, but it was not very clean and the shower didn't drain. Floor was dusty and stained my socks. I thought it was reasonable for the price anyway until the front desk person called my cell phone to tell me they couldn't find one of the towels. I can't think why he would do this unless he thought I stole it. I did not steal a scratchy, cheap motel towel and I was offended by the insinuation. I would probably not recommend Villa Rosa to others unless they had no other options.

The room was poorly equiped and looked like it was under renovation. No where to hang clothing,no bedside lighting,1 drinking cup,no chairs except a desk chair. 1 small packet of shampoo and 1 small bar of soap. Mirror in bathroom was useless unless you were 5'8" or taller.

Recently refinished room and they’ve done some nice landscaping out front to make the space more appealing. Very Nice bathroom. Great shower. Good bed. They still have a few things to take care of before it’s well appointed for guests. They need bedside lamps and an overhead light that isn’t so sterile. Need towel bars and bigger bath towels and a comfy chair to sit in. With those and some coffee in the morning I’d give it a 5. A good work in progress.

This place seems newly remodeled (perhaps not complete yet?) and under new management (name on receipt was not Villa Rosa). And it would have been acceptable at about $40 less per night. The room was clean but sparse, and there were no table or floor lamps, although the bedside tables were clearly designed to have lamps. A single overhead light is just not suitable for a motel room. The guy at the desk managed to find one lamp for us to use.

The room was very modern and very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location in Painesville, OH is very convenient in getting in to and back from Cleveland. Will definitely stay there again when we come back to town.

Owner was super nice. The only thing is when the rooms are clean they should leave an extra roll of toilet paper and extra towels in the bathroom. There is no alarm clocks in the room either. Plus I’m only 4’11 and the mirror or the sink is so tall I can’t see my head.

This little hotel was good. First off they had issues with the air conditioning in some rooms and they called us ahead of our stay to tell us and ask if we were alright with moving rooms from one with two beds to one because of this. Some parts of the room was a little dated, but everything was in good condition and the bathroom was updated. I would say my one real issue was that the pillows were not the best, but hey if that is the biggest issue they have I think that’s is pretty good. The staff and grounds were great. Just a cozy little independent place, but we enjoyed it and it was good for what we needed.

We had a late arrival and called ahead to make sure there would be no issues with check in. The owner/manager greeted us on arrival and was very pleasant. He had turned the heat on in the room for us prior to our arrival so it would be warmed up and ready. He let us know about some of the upgrade work that was being done, so the walls that were patched and prepped for new paint were not a surprised. The room was clean and comfortable and absolutely perfect for our needs. I highly recommend this facility.

We had a late arrival and called ahead to make sure there would be no issues with check in. The owner/manager greeted us on arrival and was very pleasant. He had turned the heat on in the room for us prior to our arrival so it would be warmed up and ready. He let us know about some of the upgrade work that was being done, so the walls that were patched and prepped for new paint were not a surprised. The room was clean and comfortable and absolutely perfect for our needs. I highly recommend this facility.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Recently renovated, with a few cosmetic flaws still to be finished. It’s a motel, so it’s basic, but the room had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. There was some noise from the nearby speedway racing track, but it ended by 11:00. Otherwise it was pretty quiet, especially for a Saturday night. There’s a nice grocery store just up the road, along with gas and restaurants. I would stay again.

The room was very modern and very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location in Painesville, OH is very convenient in getting in to and back from Cleveland. Will definitely stay there again when we come back to town.

Went just for the night! Went to Morgan wallen concert! This is definitely a clean, safe, nice place to stay for the night. Or a few nights if you don’t care about pools and all that! Front desk guy was very nice and helpful! Would 10/10 stay here again!

Property does not provide frills that I would rather not pay for - I like that. It would be nice if they provided a sheet with close by dining options (like Subway, groceries). I like its location regards being able to get I-90 quickly.

Perfect gem on US 20 in Painesville. Owner is a very nice and accomodating gentleman. The place from the road is quaint and charming and the place is tastefully updated. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Bed was terrific, firm and comfy as well. No extra frills and pricey anemities so it is economical. Really great family diner nearby..The Perry Family Restaurant. Great food and very nice staff. Motel is convenient to Cleveland, Ashtabula and points in between. A new go to for me when visiting family.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nicely renovated..a few small details yet to be completed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not a bad price for the area. No place for a breakfast area, but would have been nice to have bagels, donuts & coffee machine in lobby. Coffee maker in room didn't work.

Recently refinished room and they’ve done some nice landscaping out front to make the space more appealing. Very Nice bathroom. Great shower. Good bed. They still have a few things to take care of before it’s well appointed for guests. They need bedside lamps and an overhead light that isn’t so sterile. Need towel bars and bigger bath towels and a comfy chair to sit in. With those and some coffee in the morning I’d give it a 5. A good work in progress.

Everything was very nice. I do suggest you ask for more towels for the bathroom. They gave only one set. And if you drink decaf coffee you may want to take your own. There was only one packet of regular coffee in the room. Other than that it was clean and comfortable.

Room was nicely remodeled. The owner was personable and friendly. A few suggestions for improvement would be to add some outdoor seating, need towel hooks in the bathroom (no place to hang a towel after showering), better quality bath towels, and maybe add a blanket on the beds (sheet & bedspread only on bed). All in all, the stay was very good and I intend going back next year.

Stay here for a budget night's sleep. It's an older property that has been gradually renovated over many years. Nice bathroom remodel with modern white tile in sink and shower, but standard toilet. New room paint, but 70s style comforter. Staff member (I think the owner) was at the desk for check-in at 10:30pm Friday night and was very nice, but nobody was at the desk for checkout Sunday at 8:30am. Window AC/heat unit was old, loud, and would not shut off, could not access the power plug either, so I had to run it all night at a specific temperature - it kept that room temperature steady and I slept well, but it was loud white noise. Overall I would go back for the cost savings, just know what you're getting for your money.
