Overall pretty quiet, clean comfortable room.Of course you get the occasional idiot that cant use an indoor voice, and cannot close a door properly. That is not the property's fault. The only real drawbacks were very poor "continental breakfast", and the fact their ice machine was not working, and hasn't for quite some time, from the looks of things. A big plus is, they are pet friendly

The facility was a dump. The worst place we stayed at during our 10 day travel. Big area to let the dog run but nothing else positive.

Upon arriving, the parking lot was riddled with pot holes. My boyfriend went to check in while I sat in the car with my daughter who was sleeping. He came out with the key card, &we walked in. Immediately after walking in, there was a very odd stench. We got into our room and the tv and lights were on. There were stains all over the sheets and blankets. There was a thick coat of dust on the tv, dresser, window sill, etc. The little chair in the room was disgusting and covered in dust and stains as well. The towels and wash cloths were discolored and falling apart. The bathroom was disgusting. The floor being absolutely disgusting, the tub was so gross I didn’t even want to sit my daughter in it without washing it first for a bath. There was a broken tub plug, and the shower head was also broken. Will never waste money staying here again.

Very happy staying here. Other than one very minor glitch upon check in, everything was great. We stay here everytime we are in Sparta. Tje location is perfect for us, and Love tjat tjey accept pets.

Don't judge a book by its cover! The service at Briarwood is courteous and diligent. The outside and surrounding area might be a little run down, but the owners keep the rooms clean and relatively updated. I've stayed in major chains that haven't kept the rooms as nice and charged way more per night. The walls had a fresh coat of paint, wood-laminate floors, larger mini-fridge, microwave, and the bed was comfortable. I would stay here again, especially at these prices!

The room was filthy. Not even sure if it was cleaned. Stains on the wall. Bed linens, and bath linens were stained, threadbare, and appeared used. Walked into the room, checked it out and left. Made a reservation at the Holiday Inn.

This was not a good place to stay and would not go back there again!! Beds were lumpy, the linens were stained, and there was no breakfast as advertised. One day, I buzzed them to the front windows. It took a while for them to get there. I asked about the breakfast, and she said it was over. I said the sign on the wall says 6am to 10 am daily. It was like 8:30 or so. She went to the kitchen and turned on the waffle machine, threw stuff on the counter and left. Another guy came in looking for coffee, and there was none. They live on the property, have a young boy who is constantly crying and whining, and rides his bike up and down the hallway. They had already charged my stay to my c.c or I would have left and went somewhere else. There was a young man that stood at the front counter for over an hour waiting for help to get into his room. He left to go get him some breakfast at the local mc donalds, which is where we ended up eating. He rang their buzzer probably 50 times and they would not come to the counter! Just a horrible place!!!

We left after we saw the room we were staying in. Very dirty.. Towels had stains and pillows were yellow. We only were going to stay there due to the Holiday Inn being completely booked.

The room was comfortable. The refrigerator froze all of our stuff, so that was a little annoying. The sheets were stained up, but appeared to be clean. The service was friendly and good. The breakfast they offer was sub par at best. For a place to lay your head without spending an ungodly amount it was totally worth it. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Service was very unfriendly. Knocked on my door 10:30 ,11 , and 11:15 for check out. Breakfast was poor, only waffle or cereal. There is not much els available around town and thats what keeps them in business. Next time i will stay somewhere different if the service is better.

Our check in was smooth, we arrived super early and was allowed to get our room immediately. This was great since we were on the road for a number of hours. They were pleasant to deal with.

Overall pretty quiet, clean comfortable room.Of course you get the occasional idiot that cant use an indoor voice, and cannot close a door properly. That is not the property's fault. The only real drawbacks were very poor "continental breakfast", and the fact their ice machine was not working, and hasn't for quite some time, from the looks of things. A big plus is, they are pet friendly

The room was comfortable. The refrigerator froze all of our stuff, so that was a little annoying. The sheets were stained up, but appeared to be clean. The service was friendly and good. The breakfast they offer was sub par at best. For a place to lay your head without spending an ungodly amount it was totally worth it. We will definitely use them again in the future.

This was not a good place to stay and would not go back there again!! Beds were lumpy, the linens were stained, and there was no breakfast as advertised. One day, I buzzed them to the front windows. It took a while for them to get there. I asked about the breakfast, and she said it was over. I said the sign on the wall says 6am to 10 am daily. It was like 8:30 or so. She went to the kitchen and turned on the waffle machine, threw stuff on the counter and left. Another guy came in looking for coffee, and there was none. They live on the property, have a young boy who is constantly crying and whining, and rides his bike up and down the hallway. They had already charged my stay to my c.c or I would have left and went somewhere else. There was a young man that stood at the front counter for over an hour waiting for help to get into his room. He left to go get him some breakfast at the local mc donalds, which is where we ended up eating. He rang their buzzer probably 50 times and they would not come to the counter! Just a horrible place!!!

Service was very unfriendly. Knocked on my door 10:30 ,11 , and 11:15 for check out. Breakfast was poor, only waffle or cereal. There is not much els available around town and thats what keeps them in business. Next time i will stay somewhere different if the service is better.

Check in person very nice and helpful. Breakfast wasn't set up as there was only one other guest besides me. It was offered by manager but i declined

This motel is very run down. The staff barely speaks English. The coffee maker in my room didn’t work and half its parts were missing. The water in the shower was barely warm and the hallways had kid bikes everywhere. At least the air conditioning and tv worked.

This is an older hotel and you can tell the new owners are trying to fix things little by little. However, the fixtures in the bathrooms are old and leaky. The bedroom furniture was solid enough and there were plenty of lamps. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the A/C worked fine. They had a color tv but not packed with channels. We didn't do the continental breakfast so I cant comment on that. They did have a vending machine and an Ice maker which is good. Coffee pot in room was a 1-cup with very limited supplies.

Nobody on staff late night, had to ring bell. Smell of Thau food constantly, not much of a breakfast. No spoons, knives, forks, three cups, no coffee throughout the day, and no napkins.
