This was such a lovely place to start our Costa Rican roadtrip! Elena was such a wonderful host and we loved meeting her. The breakfast was delicious and the setting was really pretty. Thank you!

Beautiful property and wonderful hostess. Perfect reprieve from our bust day of travel on our way from SJO to La Fortuna. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise and monkeys playing in the trees behind us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Amanacer and would have happily stayed indefinitely. Our room was very clean and comfortable in every way, and the owners were kind, welcoming and helpful. Every morning starts with a memorable sunrise view in a garden full of birdsong and fruit trees, and continues with a delicious breakfast on the terrace. We had our own key and could come and go as we pleased, but there was always someone available if we had a request or question.

We loved staying here. The host was so lovely. The B&B is in a regular neighborhood in San Ramon so the roads were all paved, and we got to enjoy a nice place on a hill overlooking the valley and hills. The Garden was filled with gorgeous flowers and birds and butterflies and fresh fruit for breakfast. We had the family room which was spacious and had an actual king size bed, not two twin beds push together, which is so common. Would stay here again.

This is a beautiful place. After a week of travelling around Costa Rica, this was a quiet and restful place to prepare for our trip home. The birds and butterflies were very busy in the morning, and the view is very beautiful. It is located less than one hour from the San Jose airport, and the town of San Ramon has many options for dining. The hosts were excellent, and a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast was provided, including perfect gallo pinto. I highly recommend Casa Amanecer.

This Casa feels like a home. The sisters that manage it are so kind and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable and you can sit in the garden and enjoy the nice breeze. There are some dogs that live there. If you don't want to see them, they will be locked away, but we found them adorable and sweet. This is a great stop if you are travelling from the Pacific coast to La Fortuna as it is roughly half way. There is an amazing restaurant nearby and we really enjoyed our meal there.

We had a wonderfully amazing 4th stay at Casa Amanecer. We greatly appreciate the quaintness of this small and comfortable B&B. We use it as our stopover stay between coming from the southern provinces and heading to Guanacaste. The rooms are clean, the traditional breakfast is great and the service exceptional.

We arrived late from a long day of travel and we were met with a warm smile and clean accommodations. The lady that was running the bed and breakfast stayed up and talked with us, brought us water and coffee, and made sure our accommodations were prefect. In the morning the fresh breakfast was a perfect start to the day. I would 100% recommend staying here

Amazing host that made us feel right at home. The place is very well kept, with cozy and comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. It's a great place to stay fairly close to the airport, on the first or last night in CR. We have stayed there a few times and plan to stay again on our next visit.

Casa Amanecer Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful property with a fabulous view and a very comfortable setting. The staff and the breakfast were fabulous. The only downside was a very slow internet connection and no television in the room.

Very friendly and helpful people. The breakfast was great, and they helped order in food for dinner. It’s tricky to find, but GPS helped. The rooms are small but comfortable. No hot water in the bathroom sink made shaving a no go.

The two Costa Rican ladies that were ttherewere incredible. I understand the owners are from Peru which is way cool. But neither one of them spoke an ounce of English. I was able to communicate with them via Google translate and they are both so very kind and sweet and welcoming. The listing says they have a spa but they have no spa. No TV in our room. But. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful views from the edge of their yard. Coming in and out could be very inconvenient. You pull up to the gate you reach through it put the key in the lock to unlock it then back your car down the drive because it's a big swinging gate. Then you pull in and do all the reverse to close it. Luckily she helped us as I'm handicapped. But I'm leaving at a higher review because I would definitely go back

Amazing host that made us feel right at home. The place is very well kept, with cozy and comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. It's a great place to stay fairly close to the airport, on the first or last night in CR. We have stayed there a few times and plan to stay again on our next visit.

Casa Amanecer Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful property with a fabulous view and a very comfortable setting. The staff and the breakfast were fabulous. The only downside was a very slow internet connection and no television in the room.

We had a brief stay here but the staff was very kind to us. Lovely property. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent. The only downside was the neighbor's dog, which they obviously don't control.

This is a beautiful place. After a week of travelling around Costa Rica, this was a quiet and restful place to prepare for our trip home. The birds and butterflies were very busy in the morning, and the view is very beautiful. It is located less than one hour from the San Jose airport, and the town of San Ramon has many options for dining. The hosts were excellent, and a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast was provided, including perfect gallo pinto. I highly recommend Casa Amanecer.

The staff was fantastic. Great breakfast in a serene setting. Pictures suggest it is isolated on a hillside somewhere, not exactly the case. Great place though.

We loved our one-night stay here. Melina was friendly and welcoming. There was a lovely view, the breakfast was delicious and generous and the room was nicely appointed.

Il fait parti sans doute des meilleures hébergement du Costa Rica , cependant j'ai noté un défaut. Il n'y a pas de rideau occultant, ce sont des rideaux blancs avec au moins 270° de fenêtres, du coup à 5h30 du matin on a l'impression qu'il est 10h à cause de la lumière. Si comme moi vous êtes sensible à la moindre lumière , vous n'allez pas apprécier. Même avec un masque pour les yeux , la lumière est forte. Cependant tout le reste est très bien

Great location with natural beauty all around. Very friendly and welcoming host and staff. The house was very well built and and maintained - simple, down-to-earth, but highly functional and comfortable. Very delicious breakfast and morning scenery to start the day.

Lovely quiet area to stay. We speak very little Spanish, they were so willing and patient with communication. The porch area was lovely. We enjoyed rocking and having an evening drink. There is a small store about a mile away. We went to bed early and were so surprised that 4 other couples were there for breakfast. Breakfast was a “typical” and very good.
