This was a very pleasing motel stay, the rooms were very clean, reception was accommodating as we arrived early, I thank them, for their hospitality. Items such as kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery and tea & coffee were all catered for. The only thing I have to say is that the air conditioner was so so noisy, we had to turn it off.

One of the best things about the Hermitage, was the super firm mattress!!! So many times I've stayed in motels only to find a mattress with a massive sag or bow! The mattress was none of that!! Firm, flat and I had a great 2 nights sleep!! The motel isn't anything flash, but all was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly!!

We had a family room which was at the rear of the property so it was nice and quiet overnight. Only stayed for the evening and left early so didn't explore around the motel. Room was spacious enough, the decor is dated but the room had everything we needed for a quick stay.

As a short stop-over as we were attending a funeral in Denman the location was handy to our destination. The T.V. needs replacing. The sound was dreadful. Other than that the stay was perfect.

Shower didn't work, rooms run down and noise from the roads keeps you awake all night. Due to arriving after office hours there was no one to raise the shower issue to. Took video footage to share with owners but they were not interested when I complained in the morning told us there was nothing wrong. Do yourself a flavour and pick another hotel
