Good, older motel in good condition. Parking was on two levels so you could wheel in suitcases even on second-floor rooms. There was a mix-up with the reservation and clerk sorted it all.

The room was nice and spacious, for an older motel. Beds and decor were good. Bathroom small, shower was powerful, but hot water was opposite than normal. Parking was tight but our room had a nice view of the mountains. Paid tourist rate, but be aware there is no AC being close to the ocean, so had a window fan, however the noisy road and seagulls was very evident. Although located a few blocks from downtown, the immediate area seemed a bit run down. Felt that the owners were trying their best and give high marks for the room.

The Flagstone is not in the greatest part of town but it really is a great motel. Don’t be turned off by the area. The owners and staff clearly try hard to make the place safe, secure, very clean and comfortable. The rooms are nice, spacious and updated. The hotel backs onto a row of houses that obviously take pride in their neighborhood. Cheap and cheerful. We’d happily stay there again.

The motel was easy to find and close to downtown. Parking was very easy and close to my room. The motel is older but suitable for what I needed. I was traveling alone and felt very safe there.

The room was nice, We had 2 double beds. There was a separate room for the second bed. Both rooms were cramped even though there was only one bed each. Floors looked clean but needed a rinse. Feet was dirty after walking barefoot. The parking/lot was cramped, but doable. I felt the area was safe and restaurants was close by. I would stay again, if I was passing through.

This motel has a good location on one of the main roads on Port Angeles, within walking distance of the downtown and the harbor. There is plenty of parking, including in the back. The motel was clean and had new bed linens, although the building itself is rather worn and relies on noisy in-room AC units for cooling. Our corner room was spacious. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, form letting us store luggage after checkout to searching a room several days after we left for an item left behind. We appreciated the genuine attention to customer experience from the people working there--so often hard to find in larger and more impersonal places.

Bathroom was filthy . Tub wouldn’t drain , one of us had to shower in the evening so other one can shower in the morning . Floors were filthy , and there was sticker from someone’s pants on the floor not cleaned in months . They have 5 different WiFi and none of them Worked in our room On the 3rd floor .

The property is conveniently located by the ferry and water. The room was serverly outdated, had extension cords running throughout the room. The bathroom smells like urine. The bathroom had mildew stain on the ceiling. There is no AC and the bathroom fan sounds like a helicopter. IMO, the extension cords seems possible fire hazard. I think it is bad even for a motel standard.

Older building for sure, but well maintained, very clean, that was the first thing I noticed when I walked in was it smelled clean. Bedding was fresh white, and you could tell they washed with a little baking soda or bleach because it smelled super fresh and clean. I’ve stayed here twice now for work in port Angeles, and will stay again. Very good priced, and the area was quiet. Lots of food nearby within a 5 minute drive

Close to downtown, the ferry terminal, and restaurants, but there were a surplus of crumbs under the bed as well as hairs on the mattress protector under the sheet. The sheets/blankets/pillow cases looked clean, but the crumbs and hairs did not inspire confidence of overall cleanliness. A decent crashpad for Olympic National Park or a day trip to Victoria if you need somewhere to sleep at night and that's it, but you get what you pay for.

This is a motel that has not been updated in years. It's on a busy noisy street. Climate control is a window fan. Most of the options in Port Angeles look about the same. I would stay in another town.

Simple, adequate little motel….next to a very noisy main road. It was clean, and warm…..but overpriced ($166 for a night) for what it offered. The gal at the front desk was very nice and check in was easy, as was checking out. The room had a small fridge, and a microwave.

If you're looking for housing during a summer visit to the Olympic Peninsula, this Port Angeles motel is an obvious choice. The rooms are clean, mattresses are excellent, the staff courteous and efficient. Price is its best feature. A beauty spot it's not, however. Rooms are cooled with a window fan that leaves the window open and allows road noise in unfiltered. A first-floor room is subject to whatever gymnastics are taking place in the room above. So why the "good" rating? Hotel options there are few and expensive. This one, despite the issues, is well worth your consideration.

The room was decently clean with no odor which is rare for a hotel. Location was ok but if you’re on the top floor you have to drive through a sketchy alley way. The stair way landing was leaning and I was genuinely concerned it would collapse on my car. The shower was the worst hotel shower ever. There was no shower head it was just an awful pressure washer/mist experience. This place could be nice if some updates were done but as is it is not worth the price per night.

Flagstone was nice. However the bed was old… felt like a spring was gonna come through the bed and straight into the back. Pillows were flat. No A/C but they do provide a fan to run, which was nice. Overall was not a bad stay and would stay again.

Staff was friendly over the phone and accommodated my need for a late check in. The motel room worked for what a needed, a safe place to sleep and shower for a night. The traffic noise in the morning was irritating though and I could hear a neighbor washing up in the shower in another room when I was still trying to sleep.

The property looked awful from the street. But, the room was clean and comfortable. The check-in staff as not very nice. I asked a simple question about the national park and she told me to Google it. The property is about a mile from the entrance, so she should probably have some basic knowledge about the park.

Very old. Booked through Expedia. Received several calls from motel while phone was out of range for calls. Got back to them and was told the office closed at 10:00 p m. Was not told that before. Made it to this dirty run down place just before 10. Got up early the next morning and left in a hurry!

Really pleasant stay at the Flagstone. The front desk manager helped me fix a billing issue and she was very kind during the process. My room was clean, the bed was comfy and I was surprised by how quiet it was despite being on a busy street. I would definitely stay at the Flagstone again!

Could not get TV to turn on. Called office 3 times, never answered. Went to office to let them know, on our way out for a few hours. Was not taken care of while we were out, had to go to front office again

Easy to find and access. Easy check in. Clean room. Within walking distance to BC ferry (about 4 blocks). No AC, but good ventilation and good fans were already provided, so we slept well. In Port Angeles, the late-August temperature is in the 60s in afternoon and evening. Well-kept motel.

Great location to access downtown and the waterfront. Lots of things are in walking distance. Located on a main road through town (a positive) but noisy with passing traffic at night. No central cooling. Very charming old school motel.

Took ages to check in as machine wasn’t working. We had been travelling for hours and all we wanted to do was get in room. Very noisy window fans. Area would have been ok if cafes/restaurants had all been open but even though August, vast majority were closed at start of weeks and for two days we were though. Area around motel a bit sketchy and road very busy to walk along when returning from town. Not bad though for a couple of nights. No coffee in foyer though even though picture seems to indicate there is and no breakfast. This would be a big improvement as just limited to room machine.

This hotel stay was fine, except they promoted their free breakfast to be more than what it was. It was pretty awful as far as motel breakfasts go. I'm not sure why they even attempt to serve anything. Everything else was just fine though. That was my only complaint.

Cheerful and helpful staff, with good recommendations for restaurants. It's not a fancy place, and it doesn't have a view, but it was very well suited for people like us, who are out and active during the day and like walking places that are within a reasonable distance.

This properly is exactly what you would expect of an older motel. Our room was plenty clean, and it was convenient to walk to a couple of the restaurants. The property is a little bit run down.

On the surface, the place seems decent. It's clean and not too bad of a stay. There aren't any amenities and you can hear the traffic outside but other than that, not too bad. The plumbing, however, has something funky going on with it. When you shower, the water will randomly turn freezing cold for a minute and then turn hot again. This happened several times within our shower...but that's not where the plumbing trouble ends because often when you would walk into the bathroom, there was a smell like sewage. It's not a super strong smell but you could definitely smell it.
