Amazing stay. Not very many amenities but if you just want a place to sleep it was great!

Property is old and it shows. No vanity in bathroom just small sink. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Very high price for what you get.

Comfortable beds and a quiet room on Main Street. A good downtown location within walking distance to the river bank and historic homes. The owner-manager is friendly and attentive. It’s an older property with few frills, but we enjoyed our three-night stay and hope to return.

The owner of this hotel is really friendly and takes good care of the guest. We left $2500 Mac book and some other valuables in the room by accident and they where still there after the housekeeping came in the room. So, that should tell you a lot about the staff. My sister had a blanket she brought because she got cold in the room and the housekeeping took the time to lay out the blanket across the bed nicely. They have ice makers. Soda machines. Microwave in room. Mini fridge in room.

I have stayed here several times. A great value, across from Police Station. Very close to food options, groceries, and other shopping categories. It is an old-school motorboat and, for me, I like the nostalgia.

Absolutely pleased with the Savannah Motel! Gave the 5 star because it fit my travel needs perfectly, (traveling solo w/2 small dogs, and Shiloh Battlefield was the 'must see'). If you want room service, mints under your pillow at bed time, or a pool with a full bar, this isn't the place. But if you want value, cleanliness, good free wi-fi, and close proximity to historical sites and fishing, go ahead and book a room here. With set reservations for 3 nights, and a previous conversation with a gentleman on the phone regarding pets, I arrived and was checked in by Mike. H was very informative, and not a bad sense of humor when I locked myself out of my room less than 15 minutes later :) Room is average size, vinyl LVP flooring (quick clean up), King size bed (comfortable, with good bedding), fridge that actually was cold, small microwave, and a good flat screen with a huge channel selection including Showtime. The bathroom is dated, BUT, very clean and functional. Drains and toilet were good, but the highlight is the shower. Water as hot as you want it, with the pressure of a fire hose. It was absolutely wonderful. Also, (and I am not certain), but it sure felt that there is a water softening system there. Julie, one of the staff workers, was very sweet and friendly! We talked about everything from our dogs, to the owners' history with the motel. :) Already planning another trip to Savannah next Spring, and there is no question where I'll be staying.

Very clean and very quiet inside our room. Comfy bed so we slept well. The only real drawback was the room smelled strongly of cleaning detergents. Bathroom was very clean but there appears to be much rust on racks, etc. Owner was very nice.

We stayed here for 3nights for a fishing trip. It was clean and comfortable. The reception was very friendly as well! Room was cleaned and bed makes every day. This is an awesome place to stay

This is an excellent place to stay. Very warm welcome, exceptional helpful owner and son, room is spotless, bed is incredibly comfortable, and the location is very central on Main Street. Staying and extra night!! Thoroughly recommended. (We are UK visitors!)

Room was very clean and was kept that way daily. The only thing I wish was different is there is no coffee maker in the room. Good for a short stay.

Room was ok. No fan in bathroom so after shower everything is wet. Lock on room #36 is very hard to engage. Room was clean. Outdated a bit.

The only complaint my husband and I had was the heater was very load. It would go off every 15 minutes. Just when we would fall asleep it would wake us back up.

The hotel was very old but very well maintained. Room was small but served its purpose. Mattress was comfortable.

ac was so loud we couldn't sleep.internet only worked outside the door. I went to the office and asked about it he told me he new only part of the system was working.

I loved our room but the bathroom was small the lights were really bright in the bathroom and bedroom

We’ve stayed 4 nights in a row and have had a nice stay. Rooms are pretty updated to be an old town hotel. Check in is always great and staff is kind. Even with some loud guests the rooms are seemingly very quiet.

Fishing, boating, family trip at Pickwick, upper and lower dam. Perfectly. Located near Pickwick and Pickwick, Landing and Tennessee River. Great donut shop stops along the way, so the early morning commute had that sweet spot. Staff was also extra nice and friendly.

When we arrived we had reserved a King Size room. The room had been rented out to some paper mill workers. Other than that the rooms were clean, comfortable and reasonable. Staff was friendly but unable to be responsive.

Internet was sketchy at first but fair room was clean beds were comfortable enough staff was friendly surrounding food places also good.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The Mexican restaurant and the restaurant for breakfast that they recommend were both very good.
