Beautifully renovated property (it reopened in January after extensive property upgrades). The villas were beautifully designed. The views are stunning. The pool area was lovely. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff was very friendly. No major complaints whatsoever. A few minor things to improve, but not enough to give less stars (and the staff mentioned that they were still finalizing some things due to furniture shipments delayed, etc). The pool area could use a few more lounge chairs; the main lobby area could use a bit more decor (plants, more tables, pillows, etc) to fill out the space and create a more intimate feeling.

Had a free weekend with the girlies during our month-long study abroad trip, and we could not have made a better choice than Tiki Villas!! The hotel staff, the view, the pool and spa services—absolutely no complaints from any of us. From the get go, we were treated so kindly; Nancy upgraded our hotel room when we arrived so we’d have more space, and the room was lovely. We had an indoor AND outdoor shower, and a balcony with a view of the ocean. It’s genuinely the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. The restaurant staff were also so kind and patient considering we’re a group of girls who are fairly new to speaking Spanish, and they always met us halfway (or more) with communication! The food and drinks were always amazing. They gave me a bag of dry rice when my phone got soaked at Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, and I was so grateful. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and did not need anything. I definitely hope to return one day and stay for much longer. Two days was not enough. Tiki Villas has definitely been solidified as one of my best experiences in Costa Rica, and I genuinely don’t know how anywhere else I go will be able to top this place!

Amazing stay, truly unforgettable! Tiki Villas made us feel incredibly special as we celebrated our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, they pulled out all the stops with flowers, thoughtful treats, and genuinely heartfelt hospitality. The entire staff went above and beyond, but Walter and Kerling deserve special recognition. They were incredible. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they helped us navigate a few unexpected challenges with ease. The accommodations were outstanding. An extremely comfortable bed, huge soaking tub, a beautiful and relaxing pool, and an overall sense of privacy and luxury that made it feel like a true escape. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal, and the food overall was excellent. And the dessert. Wow. The chocolate lava brownie, sadly discontinued, was hands-down one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Truly unreal, and we can only hope they bring it back. We cannot recommend Tiki Villas enough. Can’t wait to come back!!

This is not a top ranked hotel. In fact it was one of the worst we ever stayed at On the positive side the grounds and the lobby are beautiful. We were so excited when we arrived. However that was before we saw the room and interacted with the staff. The bathroom literally had black mold in the walk and peeling paint on the ceiling. There was also mold on the curtains in the bedroom. There was no room near the sink to put personal items and the shelves that were supposed to to be on the wall were missing. In addition there was a plastic glade air freshener in the closet. The chairs around the pools were missing cushions. One cushion that did exist had a giant hole in the cover As far as service, We were shown to our room and told the comforter that went on the bed wasn't ready yet and was still in the wash. The gentleman who showed us to the room also mentioned we were missing coffee. He left the room. Several hours went by and still no comforter or coffee. When we went to dinner at the hotel, we asked about the comforter and were handed it to bring back as we left the lobby. The poor service continued throughout the stay. Housekeeping never showed up, promises to bring towels to the room were never kept, we were told dinner reservations would be made but would not etc Unless u care only about the setting, stay anywhere else

This place has an outstanding view from the infinity pool, exceptional personal service from all the staff and is in a great location for exploring Uvita, Ballena and Dominical. The rooms were a little tired but perfectly functional and having a walk in wardrobe, huge shower & kitchenette made our stay more comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Upon booking, prior to arrival, and during our stay the staff was attentive and helpful, including recommending a 4WD rental. They booked several activities for us and shared recommendations for restaurants and additional sites. Service was excellent in the dining room, and the popen air massage was amazing.

Huge disapointment with this hotel. Photos don't reflect the reality : hotel with a strong lack of care and maintenance. Rooms are very old especially the bathroom (photos attached). We also had dirty bed sheet with holes. The swimming pool was dirty / water was flashy green and opaque. This is part of the high prices and were unable to enjoy it. (They justified it as filter issue, and not the first time that happened). + bleach stained beach towel. Breakfast was limited in quality and service extremely long (1H to get a yoghurt with granola - having only to serve 3 tables). Be careful with this hotel as high end prices are not justifiable.(Except for the views and balcon in the room). We were supposed to get a voucher of $23 as VIP access (from Hotels.com) but staff was not aware, then we didn't have the opportunity to use it...

Staff very friendly and helpful, peaceful setting, wonderful views from room, dining area and the pool, which was great! Place in ceiling where there has been a leak needs to be addressed due to what appears to be mold, but overall this was a wonderful restorative stay and we hope to return!

I am sure 10 years ago the hotel was great. It’s just run down since it’s 2012 travel awards they received. Staff was nice but room was out dated and affected by the years of humidity. Firstly it was a challenge to locate the property. Zero signage indicating its location distance/direction to villas. Locks on doors were not functional for the patio and outdoor shower. The bed was probably the hardest mattress I have ever slept on. Sink water unsafe for consumption (teeth brushing, face washing, etc.) Property at night is not well lit, especially in the parking lot that is a distance from the hotel reception. Overall just needs to be maintained and cleaned up.

We loved our stay at Tiki and enjoyed the solitude and peaceful surroundings. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The manager was so helpful and enjoyable to speak with. Our only comment would be regarding the breakfast. Sometimes the food did not come out hot and seemed to have been prepared earlier. It was not necessarily fresh tasting. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly return.

Wow what a beautiful location. Staff were friendly and helpful but were very busy! This is a lovely place, food was excellent and room comfortable. Just a few minor things that could be improved - dripping tap, modernisation of bathroom but overall recommended for a quiet stay in a wonderful location with great food.

Nice small hotel with excellent service. The views of the ocean from our balcony were beautiful and the setting was very peaceful. The room was very clean. The only draw back was that the room had a bad odor - maybe an issue with the drains or septic system. The air conditioner helped to mask it a little, but it persisted throughout the 2 night stay. Hopefully it was just our room and it can be fixed.

Nous sommes assez déçus de cet hôtel qui n’est pas à la hauteur du prix des chambres. Staff very friendly and helpful, peaceful setting, wonderful views from room, dining area and the pool, which was great! Place in ceiling where there has been a leak needs to be addressed due to what appears to be mold, but overall this was a wonderful restorative stay and we hope to return!

I am sure 10 years ago the hotel was great. It’s just run down since it’s 2012 travel awards they received. Staff was nice but room was out dated and affected by the years of humidity. Firstly it was a challenge to locate the property. Zero signage indicating its location distance/direction to villas. Locks on doors were not functional for the patio and outdoor shower. The bed was probably the hardest mattress I have ever slept on. Sink water unsafe for consumption (teeth brushing, face washing, etc.) Property at night is not well lit, especially in the parking lot that is a distance from the hotel reception. Overall just needs to be maintained and cleaned up.

Beautifully renovated property (it reopened in January after extensive property upgrades). The villas were beautifully designed. The views are stunning. The pool area was lovely. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff was very friendly. No major complaints whatsoever. A few minor things to improve, but not enough to give less stars (and the staff mentioned that they were still finalizing some things due to furniture shipments delayed, etc). The pool area could use a few more lounge chairs; the main lobby area could use a bit more decor (plants, more tables, pillows, etc) to fill out the space and create a more intimate feeling.

PROS 1) Geral works in the bar/restaurant, and is a great asset to this place. 2) The view CONS 1) awful hard beds, gave us neck/back aches 2) massage terrible, boyfriend felt the gentle caress, short gasping breath, trembling hands, and sweat falling on him from masseuse victor. 3) Diego at front desk does not care. Not into customer service. 4) awful food. Ceviche with bones in it that one could choke on. Thai curry inedible. Dessert with nuts that people aren't made aware of, beware if have allergies, as Diego won't tell you about it. 5) water pressure is a trickle in sink and shower, room 3. 6) did not get the Expedia VIP benefits of $23 food discount

Had a free weekend with the girlies during our month-long study abroad trip, and we could not have made a better choice than Tiki Villas!! The hotel staff, the view, the pool and spa services—absolutely no complaints from any of us. From the get go, we were treated so kindly; Nancy upgraded our hotel room when we arrived so we’d have more space, and the room was lovely. We had an indoor AND outdoor shower, and a balcony with a view of the ocean. It’s genuinely the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. The restaurant staff were also so kind and patient considering we’re a group of girls who are fairly new to speaking Spanish, and they always met us halfway (or more) with communication! The food and drinks were always amazing. They gave me a bag of dry rice when my phone got soaked at Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, and I was so grateful. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and did not need anything. I definitely hope to return one day and stay for much longer. Two days was not enough. Tiki Villas has definitely been solidified as one of my best experiences in Costa Rica, and I genuinely don’t know how anywhere else I go will be able to top this place!

Great location, beach near by and good for exercise. The surrounding is beautiful with lots of trees and animal sound. The Room are ok but need a little TLC, a little update which I heard they will be doing soon.

Amazing stay, truly unforgettable! Tiki Villas made us feel incredibly special as we celebrated our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, they pulled out all the stops with flowers, thoughtful treats, and genuinely heartfelt hospitality. The entire staff went above and beyond, but Walter and Kerling deserve special recognition. They were incredible. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they helped us navigate a few unexpected challenges with ease. The accommodations were outstanding. An extremely comfortable bed, huge soaking tub, a beautiful and relaxing pool, and an overall sense of privacy and luxury that made it feel like a true escape. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal, and the food overall was excellent. And the dessert. Wow. The chocolate lava brownie, sadly discontinued, was hands-down one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Truly unreal, and we can only hope they bring it back. We cannot recommend Tiki Villas enough. Can’t wait to come back!!

This place has an outstanding view from the infinity pool, exceptional personal service from all the staff and is in a great location for exploring Uvita, Ballena and Dominical. The rooms were a little tired but perfectly functional and having a walk in wardrobe, huge shower & kitchenette made our stay more comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the perfect place to come home to each day on your adventurous Costa Rican vacation. This was our first time in Costa Rica and we had an amazing experience, mostly due to the hospitality of Tiki Villas (Kerling was our guardian angel the whole week!). Their recent renovation is spectacular and so relaxing and comfortable. As for the sights, we could see the ocean from our deck, and enjoyed views of the rainforest wildlife. Simply spectacular! Pura Vida!

This is not a top ranked hotel. In fact it was one of the worst we ever stayed at On the positive side the grounds and the lobby are beautiful. We were so excited when we arrived. However that was before we saw the room and interacted with the staff. The bathroom literally had black mold in the walk and peeling paint on the ceiling. There was also mold on the curtains in the bedroom. There was no room near the sink to put personal items and the shelves that were supposed to to be on the wall were missing. In addition there was a plastic glade air freshener in the closet. The chairs around the pools were missing cushions. One cushion that did exist had a giant hole in the cover As far as service, We were shown to our room and told the comforter that went on the bed wasn't ready yet and was still in the wash. The gentleman who showed us to the room also mentioned we were missing coffee. He left the room. Several hours went by and still no comforter or coffee. When we went to dinner at the hotel, we asked about the comforter and were handed it to bring back as we left the lobby. The poor service continued throughout the stay. Housekeeping never showed up, promises to bring towels to the room were never kept, we were told dinner reservations would be made but would not etc Unless u care only about the setting, stay anywhere else

Upon booking, prior to arrival, and during our stay the staff was attentive and helpful, including recommending a 4WD rental. They booked several activities for us and shared recommendations for restaurants and additional sites. Service was excellent in the dining room, and the popen air massage was amazing.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’hôtel venait juste d’être rénové avec goût. La vue est superbe, l’hôtel est au calme et facile d’accès comparé à certaines propriétés au Costa Rica. Le personnel est très professionnel et le restaurant délicieux . Très bien situé à 15 min d’Uvita et de Dominical. N

Huge disapointment with this hotel. Photos don't reflect the reality : hotel with a strong lack of care and maintenance. Rooms are very old especially the bathroom (photos attached). We also had dirty bed sheet with holes. The swimming pool was dirty / water was flashy green and opaque. This is part of the high prices and were unable to enjoy it. (They justified it as filter issue, and not the first time that happened). + bleach stained beach towel. Breakfast was limited in quality and service extremely long (1H to get a yoghurt with granola - having only to serve 3 tables). Be careful with this hotel as high end prices are not justifiable.(Except for the views and balcon in the room). We were supposed to get a voucher of $23 as VIP access (from Hotels.com) but staff was not aware, then we didn't have the opportunity to use it...

Great location, beach near by and good for exercise. The surrounding is beautiful with lots of trees and animal sound. The Room are ok but need a little TLC, a little update which I heard they will be doing soon.

Wow what a beautiful location. Staff were friendly and helpful but were very busy! This is a lovely place, food was excellent and room comfortable. Just a few minor things that could be improved - dripping tap, modernisation of bathroom but overall recommended for a quiet stay in a wonderful location with great food.

This place has an outstanding view from the infinity pool, exceptional personal service from all the staff and is in a great location for exploring Uvita, Ballena and Dominical. The rooms were a little tired but perfectly functional and having a walk in wardrobe, huge shower & kitchenette made our stay more comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Upon booking, prior to arrival, and during our stay the staff was attentive and helpful, including recommending a 4WD rental. They booked several activities for us and shared recommendations for restaurants and additional sites. Service was excellent in the dining room, and the popen air massage was amazing.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’hôtel venait juste d’être rénové avec goût. La vue est superbe, l’hôtel est au calme et facile d’accès comparé à certaines propriétés au Costa Rica. Le personnel est très professionnel et le restaurant délicieux . Très bien situé à 15 min d’Uvita et de Dominical. N

Staff very friendly and helpful, peaceful setting, wonderful views from room, dining area and the pool, which was great! Place in ceiling where there has been a leak needs to be addressed due to what appears to be mold, but overall this was a wonderful restorative stay and we hope to return!

I am sure 10 years ago the hotel was great. It’s just run down since it’s 2012 travel awards they received. Staff was nice but room was out dated and affected by the years of humidity. Firstly it was a challenge to locate the property. Zero signage indicating its location distance/direction to villas. Locks on doors were not functional for the patio and outdoor shower. The bed was probably the hardest mattress I have ever slept on. Sink water unsafe for consumption (teeth brushing, face washing, etc.) Property at night is not well lit, especially in the parking lot that is a distance from the hotel reception. Overall just needs to be maintained and cleaned up.

Beautifully renovated property (it reopened in January after extensive property upgrades). The villas were beautifully designed. The views are stunning. The pool area was lovely. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff was very friendly. No major complaints whatsoever. A few minor things to improve, but not enough to give less stars (and the staff mentioned that they were still finalizing some things due to furniture shipments delayed, etc). The pool area could use a few more lounge chairs; the main lobby area could use a bit more decor (plants, more tables, pillows, etc) to fill out the space and create a more intimate feeling.

PROS 1) Geral works in the bar/restaurant, and is a great asset to this place. 2) The view CONS 1) awful hard beds, gave us neck/back aches 2) massage terrible, boyfriend felt the gentle caress, short gasping breath, trembling hands, and sweat falling on him from masseuse victor. 3) Diego at front desk does not care. Not into customer service. 4) awful food. Ceviche with bones in it that one could choke on. Thai curry inedible. Dessert with nuts that people aren't made aware of, beware if have allergies, as Diego won't tell you about it. 5) water pressure is a trickle in sink and shower, room 3. 6) did not get the Expedia VIP benefits of $23 food discount

We loved our stay at Tiki and enjoyed the solitude and peaceful surroundings. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The manager was so helpful and enjoyable to speak with. Our only comment would be regarding the breakfast. Sometimes the food did not come out hot and seemed to have been prepared earlier. It was not necessarily fresh tasting. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly return.

Amazing stay, truly unforgettable! Tiki Villas made us feel incredibly special as we celebrated our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, they pulled out all the stops with flowers, thoughtful treats, and genuinely heartfelt hospitality. The entire staff went above and beyond, but Walter and Kerling deserve special recognition. They were incredible. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they helped us navigate a few unexpected challenges with ease. The accommodations were outstanding. An extremely comfortable bed, huge soaking tub, a beautiful and relaxing pool, and an overall sense of privacy and luxury that made it feel like a true escape. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal, and the food overall was excellent. And the dessert. Wow. The chocolate lava brownie, sadly discontinued, was hands-down one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Truly unreal, and we can only hope they bring it back. We cannot recommend Tiki Villas enough. Can’t wait to come back!!

Huge disapointment with this hotel. Photos don't reflect the reality : hotel with a strong lack of care and maintenance. Rooms are very old especially the bathroom (photos attached). We also had dirty bed sheet with holes. The swimming pool was dirty / water was flashy green and opaque. This is part of the high prices and were unable to enjoy it. (They justified it as filter issue, and not the first time that happened). + bleach stained beach towel. Breakfast was limited in quality and service extremely long (1H to get a yoghurt with granola - having only to serve 3 tables). Be careful with this hotel as high end prices are not justifiable.(Except for the views and balcon in the room). Il nostro soggiorno a Tiki Villas è stato uno degli highlight del nostro viaggio in Costa Rica. La struttura è meravigliosa, immersa nella foresta e con una vista incredibile dall'alto sul mare. Appena arrivati, stando sul balcone abbiamo visto almeno una decina di tucani. Il personale è eccezionale, ogni singola persona con cui abbiamo interagito è stato di una gentilezza estrema, cordiali, pronti a rispondere a ogni nostra domanda, esigenza, o preferenza. Abbiamo provato alcuni dei cocktail della casa e anche il ristorante, e raccomandiamo entrambi. Food e drinks erano non solo gustosi, ma anche ben presentati. Essendoci poche stanze, la nostra impressione è che ogni singolo ospite sia trattato con cura estrema in modo da sentirsi "a casa". Grazie al personale di Tiki Villas per averci coccolati

Tiki Villas is a beautiful place with very helpful and friendly staff. Ana and William helped ensure our stay was comfortable and booked an excursion to Corcovado which was a lovely day adventure and a dinner reservation in Uvita. We loved relaxing with a delicious drink by the pool. Jose made a refreshing lemongrass and ginger tea that was my favorite. The restaurant was delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner- kudos to the chef in particular for the catch of the day and the French toast. Fernanda and Brandon and Jose were kind servers and nice to talk to. The entire staff was welcoming and went above and beyond communicating through whats app and making sure we had everything we needed, like preparing breakfast to go when we had an early morning start. The hotel has a lovely view and comfortable accommodations. We had four wonderful nights here and would love to stay again!

Fantastisk fint nytt hotell med store villaer og utsikt over havet. Romantisk og veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte som la tilrette for et flott opphold for oss. Fikk kun to netter her, men kunne gjerne hatt flere og vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

¡Una experiencia inolvidable en Tiki Villas Rainforest Lodge & Spa! El lugar es simplemente hermoso, rodeado de naturaleza y con una paz que enamora. La atención fue excepcional: Ana en recepción nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer minuto, y Don José en el restaurante fue un verdadero tesoro, siempre atento y amable. Pero lo que realmente nos dejó impresionados fue el restaurante. La comida es de otro nivel: el pulpo a la parrilla, el ceviche y absolutamente todos los platos que probamos fueron dignos de una estrella Michelin. No fue una cosa puntual, fue el conjunto completo: sabores perfectos, presentación impecable y un servicio de primera. Si no fuera por la playa, literalmente no habríamos salido del lodge. Sin duda volveremos, ¡y lo recomendamos al 100%!
