This is a historic Inn, dates from 1751. It has a very popular restaurant and pretty cool bar. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a room on the third floor and it’s walk up only - no elevator. That’s fine for us, but might not be for everyone. Large parking lot. Friendly staff. Convenient location on route 611. There’s an ice cream place next-door. A Wawa market that’s a two minute walk and a Dunkin’ Donuts just beyond that. Our room was inexpensive.. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful place- quaint, cozy, great bar and restaurant in the hotel. Excellent staff. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of small issues. No USB ports in any rooms or public spaces, shower was hard to use AND no staff in the lobby after 10. We weren’t aware we would be locked out and were only told the room keys opened the lobby door, after we questioned the staff the next morning.

This was a lovely historic inn with a nice bar and restaurant on the main level. Service from the staff was prompt and friendly, including coming up to our 3rd floor (no elevator) room in the old section where the only heat/cool control was in the hallway & locked, to adjust it to our liking. Breakfast vouchers were included for the delicious diner down the street. Easy parking behind the inn. Just be aware that it can be a long walk to your room, troublesome if you have a lot of luggage.

Friendly staff, clean but difficult for seniors. No elevator and lots of stairs. No staff on duty til 11:00 week days and no restaurant service til lunch. Need to go off site for breakfast except for a Sunday buffet. Evening restaurant is open and food was good. Upon leaving Monday, took bags to car around 8 in morning and got locked out of building. Luckily my wife was still in room and came down to open door so we could finish loading. Was concerned what I would have done if she wasn’t. No staff around. Overall a historical experience and a beautiful place. Landscape is picturesque and unique.

We absolutely love this hotel. The staff is very friendly, the room was very clean and we were close to New Hope and Peddlers Village. This was the second time we stayed. Live music and great food in the bar area. One of the best parts of the stay is the breakfast voucher for Groveland Grill. It's a 30 second drive or 2 minute walk and their food is really really great.

Bathroom was not very clean. Bed had 2 x 4 pieces of wood holding it up and the boxspring was creaking and making noises at every movement. No AC in the room, just a ceiling fan. Heard all talking and noise through the vent from bar/restaurant downstairs.

I hate to give a negative review but this was a splurge for me so this was a real disappointment. The pillows were stained, toilet was not clean, and there was a small roach.

Parking was easy and staff was very friendly, The hotel itself was very outdated, the room condition was poor (broken cabinet and bathroom doors, very dusty appliances (coffee machine, lamps, fridge), non-working WiFi connection, unvaccumed floor/rug, but most importantly, it felt like the room was not supposed to be for hotel guests. It looked and felt like an attic space for unwanted/uninvited guests. Friendly staff cannot make up for all those things unfortunately. We would not go back to stay there.

The room was lovely! It not only looked, but also felt clean, which is important. I also enjoyed the way our room was decorated. The bed was very soft and the air conditioning was great too. The man who helped check us in was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would return!

The bathroom was dirty which is unacceptable. The shower didn't work well. Staff were variable. I came in with bags and no one seemed to understand I was there because I had a reservation. Why else would I be there with bags?

Restaurant and Bar were decent, good food and service, as for hotel, there are no elevators, we were helped with the luggage but hallway is very narrow. As for the room, bathroom door did not close, room temperature could not be controlled, no phone in bedroom to arrange for a wakeup call. Bedroom door had gaps all around letting the hallway light in, and sounds of guests in and out of rooms. The AC which was central could not be controlled, room was too cold, AC was too loud as it turned on and off through the night. It was nice to have a coffee maker in the room. Had to unplug light so we can make coffee because it was the only suitable outlet.

My stay was very nice. Excellent and caring staff. Clean, comfortable room. I intentionally seek historic hotels to stay at, and I’m happy I got to visit this one. When I checked in, they DID inform me that I was going to be above the restaurant and that the music would end at 10 PM. (I stayed on a Saturday night), so I thought ok, I can put the TV loud to drown out the music. But that wasn’t the case. It was really loud. Then at 8:30 AM Sunday morning music came back on for breakfast/brunch. Although I was very happy with my room, the noise made it much less enjoyable. It really is something to consider if you’re looking for a quiet stay. I understand they must try to work a balance of restaurant/room accommodations. Maybe there are different rooms that you can request further away from the music? I don’t want my review to hinder someone from staying. The Inn is lovely. But maybe there’s a way to request a room away from the noise from the restaurant? Or maybe book on a slower night when there’s not loud music?

It’s tough to review this place because we thought the staff, the restaurant and wait staff & food were really good, but we had a few issues with the accommodations. There should have been a secondary lock on the inside of the room, not just a push button doorknob lock. We know it’s a nice place, but it was somewhat uncomfortable for us, especially in a high traffic hallway. The thermostat was not working properly (even though the manager came up to try and adjust it) we were chilly both nights we stayed there. Thankfully the blankets kept us warm. The shower water pressure was horrible and kept switching from hot & cold mid-showers. Our check-in & check-out were easy and it was nice that the manager brought us to our room. Also was easy booking reservations for dinner & brunch. Both meals we had at the Inn were great.

Not a terrible place but it’s not a comfortable stay. The bed was insanely small and hard. Also the shower is very small so if you are tall/plus size I can see it being a very hard situation. I’m short and slim and I still couldn’t shave my legs. I can appreciate that it’s an old building but it’s just lacking in comfort. I will also point out that because it’s old you can hear every word spoken in the restaurant below. Fortunately it quieted down at a reasonable hour.

This place was fantastic. Staff was very welcoming when we checked in. We were escorted to our rooms and given a history lesson about the place on the way. I'm not a bar guy but they have an excellent one. Food was great. We were there on a Wednesday night and the place was packed for trivia night. Even with all the people down at the bar you could not hear any of that noise in your room. Highly recommend this place for a great stay thats not a chain hotel.

No USB ports in any rooms or public spaces, shower was hard to use AND no staff in the lobby after 10. We weren’t aware we would be locked out and were only told the room keys opened the lobby door, after we questioned the staff the next morning.

Easy access but the best part was the SERVICE! Tom the Plumsteadville Mgr was an Exceptional Representative of this establishment. It was a spectacular weekend with dinner, music and local events! 🎶😎

This is at least our third stay at the Plumsteadville Inn. We encountered a problem with the shower, water was either freezing cold or boiling hot. They tried adjusting it, but problem still existed. Fortunately for us, another family member was staying at the Inn, so we used her shower. The manager, Jason, was very helpful and refunded one night of out 2 night stay. Also, the food at the inn was very good with excellent staff.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was super friendly and the manager (Jason) showed us around and took us to our room. The restaurant/bar downstairs was also great. Super clean room and very comfortable. Will definitely be staying again.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. They let me know ahead of arrival that there was going to be an event there that night. True to their word, the event ended exactly when they said it would, and the party guests went on their way or to their rooms.

Friendly staff, clean but difficult for seniors. No elevator and lots of stairs. No staff on duty til 11:00 week days and no restaurant service til lunch. Need to go off site for breakfast except for a Sunday buffet. Evening restaurant is open and food was good. Upon leaving Monday, took bags to car around 8 in morning and got locked out of building. Luckily my wife was still in room and came down to open door so we could finish loading. Was concerned what I would have done if she wasn’t. No staff around. Overall a historical experience and a beautiful place. Landscape is picturesque and unique.

This is a historic Inn, dates from 1751. It has a very popular restaurant and pretty cool bar. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a room on the third floor and it’s walk up only - no elevator. That’s fine for us, but might not be for everyone. Large parking lot. Friendly staff. Convenient location on route 611. There’s an ice cream place next-door. A Wawa market that’s a two minute walk and a Dunkin’ Donuts just beyond that. Our room was inexpensive.. We enjoyed our stay.

This is an historic property. You can’t expect the amenities of a modern property. Room in the older section was large and clean. We were able to sit on the upper porch in the evening. It is right at a busy intersection and can be noisy. Lots of things to do in the area. Overall good experience.

This inn is excellent in some respects and only average in others- the restaurant and bar areas are inviting and food is good. However, the hotel facilities are very outdated and in need of renovation. We have stayed here twice as the proximity to the bike trail around the Delaware River is good. However, the rooms need a good makeover- our television did not work. Despite not one but two hotel employee assistance, no one could get the remotes to work!! We decided to forgo its use. The shower was adequate but the water pressure is definitely poor and hot water was marginal at best.

Very very small, only a few rooms above a restaurant but very convenient for being near Doylestown . Food at the restaurant was great. No amenities , just a room to stay in but it suited our needs for the weekend. Staff was very friendly!

This is a very nice and highly affordable option for the Valley Forge/Washington Crossing/New Hope/Lambertville set of tourist destinations. The staff was very friendly and the onsite restaurant and bar were both outstanding! I really appreciated that the inn still allows cancellations/refunds up to 48 hours in advance, as we were not definite we could take the time away from home. One drawback was that the bedroom window needed a light-blocking pulldown shade, as the curtains could not be drawn closed at night without blocking flow from the window A/C unit. This was an issue in June- would not matter during other seasons. Very nice overall experience!

We had a short weekend trip to visit the area and the accommodations at the inn were above our expectations. They had very friendly staff, food was amazing at the restaurant, and location was ideal to get to where we wanted to go - visiting Vampa, a few village shops & hiking. Would highly recommend. Thanks

This place was fantastic. Staff was very welcoming when we checked in. We were escorted to our rooms and given a history lesson about the place on the way. I'm not a bar guy but they have an excellent one. Food was great. We were there on a Wednesday night and the place was packed for trivia night. Even with all the people down at the bar you could not hear any of that noise in your room. Highly recommend this place for a great stay thats not a chain hotel.

The room we had gad a nice sitting room with sofa, club chair and an additional tv. Very nice to have. The restaurant was excellent with happy hour Monday thru Friday with all appetizers half price. The pork chop was exceptionally delicious. Both Friday and Saturday they had live music which was enjoyable. Can't wait to return!

This is more than an inn. It's an experience. Upon checkin, we were escorted to our room and received a wonderful history review. Our room was very clean and quaint, and we loved the historic touches that are maintained. The restaurant/tavern is wonderful. We got some drinks on the evening we arrived, and brunch the next day. The service and food were absolutely incredible. We can't wait to go back!

One of the best hotel stays we have ever had. Every single staff member was helpful, polite and concerned with our needs. The room was large and comfy. Happy Hour apps were overflowing and delicious. Dinner the next evening (with music) was plentiful and really good (drinks as well). Breakfast vouchers were supplied for a cafe a short walk away and their menu offerings were amazing and also delicious. Everything was top notch and we would come back again without hesitation.

I stayed in a suite at the Inn. It was very nice. My only complaint would be that there is no microwave in the room. But the room was clean and that’s most important. As a bonus there is an ice cream shop right next to the parking lot that gave huge serving for a small ice cream cone. I was in town visiting the Shrine of Częstochowa and this location was very convenient. Only 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic. Grocery store and Dollar General just down the street in case you forgot to pack anything. Most of all I appreciated the owner’s concern to make sure that I was having a good experience and a pleasant stay.

The rooms are in keeping with the vintage character of the inn. Amenities are pretty minimal. The bathroom was extremely small with no hooks for towels or bathrobes. The air conditioning was on constantly and was very noisy. However, everything else was pretty great. Comfortable bed. Very helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. Good value for the money.
