I had 2 rooms for me and some family members. They had to switch rooms because the curtains were broken, one of the locks was broken, the air was not plugged in so the room was incredibly hot when the entered, and there were roaches. In my room, the shower curtain was way too short and when I showered the floor had half an inch of standing water. There was no remote in my room, and also no one room phones. When I called the front desk they said I had to go and pick it up from the front desk. The sliding doors in both rooms toward the balcony were extremely poor condition, noise and wind came through them due to there being no seal. The balcony doors also didn't lock. I couldn't get my in room safe to function. Out of three floors, only two had a working ice machine. There were two laundry room that were free, but only one had a running washer and neither had a working dryer. I had already started a load of laundry and could not dry it afterwards. I had to go to the front to get towels, they would not bring them up. When I did go, they gave me pool towels which were half the size, I could only get towels from the maid cart during room service. Breakfast on Saturday ran out of almost everything, and staff could not be found to ask if they were putting out more of anything. No seatinging on Saturday breakfast due to lack of tables at the breakfast area. One back exit was bolted shut, probably a fire hazard. The other didn't latch at all, so anyone could enter and exit.

the staff was great! the only problem we had was our first room the plug ins didn’t work but they moved us the next day. they were updating the hotel wasn’t in the best shape. dryer did not work and one of the elevators did not work. I think once they get everything completed it will be a great hotel. has a very nice pool and court yard.

The room was great-spacious, clean, comfortable. The property was in less than desirable condition. Had to park around back and walk around the farm property because the back entry gate is broken. There’s water draining all over the parking lot that smells like rotten fish. Elevator was broken. No vending machines. Ice machine was disgusting.

I only gave it 4 stars because the pool wasn't cleaned. I should've called before booking, but that was on my part. Staff stated that the pool hadn't been cleaned in months. It's close to summer and many people book hotels for pool purposes. The room was very cleaned, spacious, air conditioner working perfectly fine and it blowsssss!! No complaints here, just hope the pool gets cleaned soon.

This property has far better pictures than what is actually going on there. For starters our room stunk of mildew. The floors were warped, the bathroom had stains on the ceilings. The gym was 90 degrees and humid, so it was unusable. We didn’t eat breakfast, we did use the pool but one day it had pop cans and garbage in it and the other day it was full of yard debris. Our group made up 5 of the rooms and everyone of them had an issue, doors falling off the hinges, warped floors. The one and only PRO—-our A/C was probably the best hotel A/C I’ve ever had. Would I stay here again? Nope, not even if it was free!

While it looks like an attempt to remodel was made, it's still a neglected property. Pool is green, landscaping around it is dead, security gate from parking lot is bent and the latch won't catch allowing anyone to enter the central courtyard. Staff is aware as they just hang their heads low when being told. I'm sure that they do all that they can but it's clear management could care less. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable ant breakfast was decent.

The property is currently being renovated, so few services I intended to use (cocktail lounge for one) were not available. I was given the room I reserved, but because of construction, I did not have table and chairs on the patio/balcony area outside the door. However it did not ruin the experience.. The room was spacious, clean and in great location overlooking the pool, had microwave and refrigerator and wet bar area. Lot of drawer space and closet with ironing board iron. Plenty of towels and shower had good water pressure. I had slight issue with the televisions in room (neither of the 2 I had worked), but Linda was more than willing to help me fix it, and got to watch news and movie. I like the current amenities. There are 2 BBQ grills (one at pool and another in grassy shaded area other side of pool). The lobby has citrus water, as well as coffee set up and vending machines near front desk. I enjoyed my afternoon pool day. Water was perfect temperature and they provide inflatables and few water guns for pool fun. It is very convenient to large shopping mall and other retail stores, medical facility, restaurants, grocery stores (Circle K next door) and entrance to 10E and 10W. I chose this location because it was near relatives who live in area and convenient access to freeway. I would consider staying here again after construction is complete. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Parking is free. Didn't have problem finding space.

The hotel room was only partially cleaned upon arrival. The shower/tub was missing a shower curtain. Hair dryer was broke. Overall it felt dirty and like the property was taking advantage of the guests. Several guests were complaining of missing or broken items to the front desk. Will not stay here again.

Everything was broke in the room and when I told them about it they were nice and offered to move us, but every room they moved us to was worse .And we got tired of going back down there so we kept the broken room and they fixed the shower but there was a roach , stains everywhere. The bathroom door was broken and the bed was hard as a brick, my back still hurts. Outside the room spelled like weed and mildew. All the air conditioners were leaking making the walkway constantly wet.

Well first the hotel looked nothing like the pictures which is false advertisement. The conditions of room was not good, it smelled like mold or a basement. The carpet was dirty, the cabinets were scratched up and needs to be repainted. I don’t feel the price I paid matched the quality of the room, this location needs to be renovated and updated.

Room was dirty! Roaches. Dirty laundry from god knows when. Only one ice machine worked. Sliding glass door didn’t lock. The pool towels were the size of a wash rag! Literally prostitutes staying next door! Will never stay there again!

Very dirty, very old & the room smelled so bad! Paint chilling, floor boards falling off. AC left a lake in the main room. Bathroom was gross, dirty, mold, shower broken. So disappointed

Room was clean, staff was friendly, hot shower. Downside, room was very dated. Bathroom door stuck due to tile floor being unlevel. Iron on outside steps very rusted to the point rusted through in some areas. Also, coffee filters did not fit coffee machine.

There was a broken patio door that fell when I slid the door open. This could have went wrong really fast. When I informed the front desk clerk, she said she thought they fixed the door.
There was a broken patio door that fell when I slid the door open. This could have went wrong really fast. When I informed the front desk clerk, she said she thought they fixed the door.

The room was large, clean, exactly as advertised in the picture at a great price, but it (or the A/C vent) smelled a little musky. Also the elevator looked & smelled very shady. But the breakfast was good and plentiful even at 8:15am. I’ve attached a photo of the room from outside the window.

We had a wait a while to check in due to the front desk employee sitting in the back at 3:40PM. There was of line of guest that were waiting, not a good idea to disappear 40 minutes after checkin starts. You can tell they are trying to update the rooms, but the craftsmanship and execution is laughable. Our TV would not turn on and we could not even check to ensure it was properly plugged in because they screwed a decorative panel over the plug and tv mount on the wall. The breakfast, they could not keep up and food kept running out. The scrambled eggs had a gritty texture. It’s unfortunate because this place has a lot of potential especially with the courtyard pool area… I just believe it is missed managed/lack of funding.

The WiFi was not working during my stay for me to work from my laptop. My stay was 3 nights and housekeeping did not stop by my room and also did not ask if I needed any service. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was not working as well as the balcony door did not open.

I always wanted to check this place out, glad I finally did. Price was affordable for 1 day, I like the elevator & stairs options, I definitely liked the size of the room. It's was comfy and clean.

I didn’t like the room it was old looking and outside area was very dirty with spiderwebs everywhere. Also it was very noisy, you could hear every car passing by. I don’t recommend.

The room smelled like mildew. The floor in the sitting area was slippery and the flooring near the door/AC was squishy and cracking. There was no fridge or microwave in the room despite being on the website. The bathroom door was difficult to close due to uneven tiles. No one refreshed our towels or tidied our room during our stay. No ice bucket was available in the room.

When i arrived and checked in and got to my room about 20 minutes later front desk called me and told me i owed a balance. The guy who checked me in only charged me for the deposit. I got back to my room around 10pm on 09/06 and my key wouldnt work. Went to the front desk and was told they only programmed my key for one night, i paid for 3 and had already stayed 2, didnt make any sense at all to me. The manager wasnt available for me to talk to.

I really don't know who has the problem if the app. from Expedia or the hotel. It turns out that when I approach the hotel reception I tell them that I have a reservation in my name and they tell me that they do not have a room available, how is it possible that they can allow me to make a reservation. and they don't have rooms available, I need them to manage the return of my money because I paid for a service that they didn't provide me. I'm disappointed with this application, this is the second time this has happened to me. I let the first one go by because it wasn't that much the amount I paid. Please contact me either by mail or call if they call me, let the operator be in Spanish

We arrived and checked in normally, went into our room and found there were people sleeping in the room they gave us! It was terrible for both of us, especially late at night. The front desk people then proceeded to tell us that after checking multiple rooms that they sold our room to someone else and we’re sold out and had to cancel our reservation. We even called in the afternoon to make sure they had the room kept for us because we were driving all the way from the Houston area. Worst hotel experience ever, worst Expedia experience ever

We were truly impressed by the staff on duty the night we arrived as well as the next morning. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself is a little older but is well maintained and served our purposes just fine. I’d stay again just bc of the staff who made us feel like old friends in for a visit.

Staff were really nice, especially Meghan. Thank you Meghan!!! Really made our stay much better. Room was really big and had nice amenities. Breakfast was a little sparse, but staff helped with the waffles. They were pretty good. Easy access to interstate 10. Would stay again.

We choose this hotel for our three year wedding anniversary stay. It was affordable, in a safe area, had a clean room and easy access to the Mall of Louisiana and other shopping areas. We were also greeted and checked out by Randy who was very welcoming and let us know that if we needed anything to let him know. Great breakfast. Thank you Randy and the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend!!!

The beds we’re comfortable my only complaint was the pool was and eye sore. Didn’t know the pool was out . It was covered in green algae. Was not a good sight. Also we were near the road and traffic can be heard:

Our hotel room was very hot. The main lobby did not have a working AC. The breakfast was not good and the juice machines didn’t work. Only one elevator worked. There were no sheets for the couch bed or pillows. To top it off there were roaches in the room.

There was a dirty white hard towel handing in the shower upon arrival. The ceiling and rain damage visible inside of the room. The tub had rust in it. Breakfast started 1 hour after the original start Time posted on the wall. I was checked out of my room by staff because a team member did not verify room numbers and went off what another customer said. It was a disturbance to my trip. I would have never booked if u would have know the hotel was undergoing renovations. That should have been public knowledge.

Everything was great except the breakfast. Both mornings the hot breakfast trays were empty/almost empty and the only option was waffles. And there was a long line for that on Sunday. They need to be kept full until breakfast is over.

The? Property was old. There was mold around the pool area need to be painted. The hot breakfast was not there. Most of the time you had to keep asking to have them bring out something. Under renovations but that was not listed on website . The sleeper sofa had nasty stains and looked unsanitary so I wouldn’t let my child sleep on it. The dividing door doesn’t shut properly. The toilet moves. The room carpet was unclean. There was large spider web behind the room door. The chair was broken - leans all the way back and the upholstery was torn. There were gnats in the room. The ice machine didn’t work on second floor. The pool and patio area was nice and it could be a nice hotel but all the rooms need to be renovated before renting them out as this room should not used until properly and fully remodeled.

This property is currently Under renovations it is my opinion that they should not rent out any rooms until more of the hotel is complete there is a very Strong unwelcoming smell In the lobby and when I stepped into the room the smell was even worse the room that I was put in was surrounded by all empty rooms that were completely ripped apart and waiting to be remodeled the windows to those empty rooms were open so it looks like a bit of a ghost town and it was a little scary walking through the open Courtyard I was going to just continue my stay even though I was not pleased and I did not feel like my surroundings were worth a $130 a night however once I got into my bedroom area I was greeted with a few roaches crawling around under the sink at that point I had to check out of theHotel it looks like they are trying their best to remodel hopefully when they are done it looks a lot better and it's worth every dollar the Courtyard is very nice and so is the lobby so if the rooms can match that presentation all will be well
