We stayed in the smallest room and it was very small due to the dormer ceilings, which forced me to duck sometimes. The bathtub/ shower also had limited space for standing. That said, though, we loved the room. It was very cute and cozy and the bed was excellent. There was a love seat under the window and a bag with beach towels and a water bottle for our use. The breakfast was very good, with fresh squeezed orange juice available. The owner was so nice and helpful, and even carried our suitcases up the steep stairs. The location was perfect. We love places with character and this definitely has it!

This small hotel lies just a 2-min walk from the main station, and 4-5 mins from the town square and all the main restaurants. The hotel is a very charming and presumably old building but in very good condition. Clean rooms, a comfortable bed, lovely breakfast buffet, and lovely courtyard where we ate our breakfast. A great place from which to explore Ystad and its surroundings.

confusing check in via hotels.com, otherwise what was expected, a quaint hotel in a quaint town, checking in was a little confusing but once in all was nice and quaint. Very friendly breakfast stff with a family vibe staying here

Hotell Bakagarden was a pleasure. Centrally located in Yset, less than 10 minutes from the station Beautiful rooms. Very helpful innkeeper. Highly recommended.
