Days Inn by Wyndham Charleston WV

The property is in a very rundown location, the room can use some upgrades (burn holes in the blanket, holes in the sheet, very thin discolored towels, ceiling crumbling on the floor, large crack around the exterior door, tub had burns and dirty caulking), there was a very strong odor of marijuana at night billowing in the room. Parking was ok, not many guests checked in. The hotel is split into 2 hotels, 3rd floor is the Super 8, bottom 2 floors are Days Inn. Very noisy at night but police observed on the property randomly.

Clean quiet room by the elevator which was a god send!

Only two towels in the room even though we booked for four people. The door latched, but didn’t fully shut. Quite a draft blowing through the door! Very clean! There was a cigarette burn in one of the sheets.

Christa at the front desk was very polite, professional & friendly! The exterior of the hotel could use some improvement but the interior was clean! Our bed was comfortable, the room & bathroom was very clean. The hotel is extremely convenient to everything, yet we slept peacefully without any noise disturbances.

The room was clean, though the shower could use new caulk. It was surprisingly quiet for the area. Breakfast was better than expected and included pre-made cheese omelets and waffles. Staff was very friendly! ( I think her name was Mary?) Perfect place for a low budget overnight stop.
