A beautiful property in the “heart of the city”. While parking must be found at locations some distance from the hotel, it did not take away from our very positive stay. Excellent value for price - I would stay at this property again in a heart-beat !

You can’t beat this location in the center of the Plaza de Flores. The hotel is extremely comfortable & the staff is lovely! There’s a great rooftop bar with exceptional views & a sushi bar on the floor below. We are big fans & always stay here when visiting Estepona

Absolutely lovely boutique hotel on iconic square. Lovely large room on the 6th floor with huge wraparound terrace that included a large hot tub (which we filled with cool water and sat in during the heat wave!) 3 excellent restaurants and gorgeous rooftop bar with incredible views. Universally respectful and friendly service. Great value for the $$! Would absolutely stay again when in stunning Estepona

Really nice hotel and good service. Good located hotel close to the beach and restaurants. No parking but paid parking is not far away. Good value to stay here. And Estepona overall was a pleasant surprise.

Beautiful Hotel right in Old Town Estepona. Being quite new everything is lovely. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar on the top floor is great. Our room was very well appointed. NOTE, you cant drive to the hotel at all. There is free parking a 15 min walk away or underground 5 mins away for 17 euros.

Perfekt läge. Trevliga restauranger i närheten. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter i närliggande garage, till ett pris av 17 euro/dygn alternativt 40 euro/vecka. Rent och snyggt. God frukost. Trevlig personal. Återvänder gärna till detta hotell.

The hotel is beautiful with fabulous restaurants attached, though the Japanese restaurant food was extremely salty. The hotel was spotless and the room was spacious and well done. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Excellent location.

We were a party of 8. We all liked our rooms however room 211 had an air conditioning problem. It might be useful to let guests know in advance that reception has the controls for the air conditioning as it was uncomfortably warm when getting ready to go out.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel specially the surrounding Andalusian architecture. Staff welcomed us warmly and helped us securing booking for dinner . Room spacious and spotless . Hotel overall look and feel is excellent . The only drawback is that the sound of diners under the hotel are clearly heard in the room on the first floor . After 11 no more sound . Will come back and highly recommended .

Prachtig hotel! Heel schoon en netjes. Personeel was ook erg vriendelijk. Ligging hotel midden tussen de winkels. Helaas was onze airco van onze kamer kapot en hebben we dit meerdere malen aangegeven. Pas na 5x melden is onze melding opgepakt. Dit was erg jammer. Gelukkig heeft het personeel het goed opgepakt en de airco gerepareerd en ons gratis ontbijt aangeboden. Ik kom zeker nog terug.

The El Pilar is situated in the heart of old town Estepona. It looks an imposing property from the outside, and yet inside it feels modern and smaller. Beautiful attention the detail such as the carved door surrounds to each room. The weather was terrible while we stayed, and we would have liked to option to use a lounge area; the only one the hotel has is in the reception lobby & it was way too cold, wet and windy to use this, so the only option is to relax in your room when in the hotel. The Spa was also closed. Many people comment on the noise in the hotel, and while there was some noise from the hotel bar, Coopers Bar below us, it went quiet around midnight, so wasn’t a problem for us. The staff were all lovely, special shout out to Hosè Antonio the bar man in Coopers Bar. Despite the weather it was a lovely stay and we hope to return and see Estepona in the sunshine.

We really enjoyed our stay at El Pilar. It is right in the middle of everything = perfect location. It is a stunning property, the rooms are great, and the restaurants on site were all excellemt. We were very happy with our stay overall. We did have problems with the validating of the parking (they did not have any validated passes to give us costing us 5 euros a night) that was not handled well by the staff. But even this could not put a damper on our enthusiasm for this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at El Pilar. It is right in the middle of everything = perfect location. It is a stunning property, the rooms are great, and the restaurants on site were all excellemt. We were very happy with our stay overall. We did have problems with the validating of the parking (they did not have any validated passes to give us costing us 5 euros a night) that was not handled well by the staff. But even this could not put a damper on our enthusiasm for this place!

You can’t beat this location in the center of the Plaza de Flores. The hotel is extremely comfortable & the staff is lovely! There’s a great rooftop bar with exceptional views & a sushi bar on the floor below. We are big fans & always stay here when visiting Estepona

Really nice hotel and good service. Good located hotel close to the beach and restaurants. No parking but paid parking is not far away. Good value to stay here. And Estepona overall was a pleasant surprise.

Beautiful Hotel right in Old Town Estepona. Being quite new everything is lovely. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar on the top floor is great. Our room was very well appointed. NOTE, you cant drive to the hotel at all. There is free parking a 15 min walk away or underground 5 mins away for 17 euros.

The hotel is beautiful with fabulous restaurants attached, though the Japanese restaurant food was extremely salty. The hotel was spotless and the room was spacious and well done. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Excellent location.

We are so happy we stayed here. All the staff were so kind and welcoming. Before arrival we got a detailed description of where to park, with a photo of the entrance of the parking garage which made everything so simple for us. The hotel is beautiful and we loved the food and drinks at Makako! (As for Estepona - it is a really beautiful place!).

Fabulous location . Lovely hotel in the centre. Great to have UK TV channels . Spoilt by , 1) group of very noisy residents from 23.45 to 00.30 in the reception/ bar ? area. 2) very disappointed at the limited "set menu",options for breakfast . First time ever in Spanish hotel not to have a self selection buffet. Spoilt our visit.

Un hôtel super bien placé sur une ravissante place fleurie à deux pas de la plage et des restaurants Hôtel assez récent, pas trop grand, déco sympa, très “boutique” hôtel Accueil très sympa et personnel serviable Comme beaucoup de “boutique” hôtels des petits défauts, la musique très forte dans le couloir de l’autre côté de la porte de la chambre, porte de la chambre qui ne fermait pas (problème de serrure), petit dej au sous sol alors que l’hôtel a de belles terraces, bar roof top ouvert au public, trop petit et vite complet … Mais cet hôtel reste une bonne adresse à Estepona

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here this summer! We stayed for 10 nights and honestly have nothing to complain about. Central location, incredibly clean, and lovely interior. The staff were incredibly helpful from start to finish, and they really went the extra mile to ensure impeccable service. From easy transport to and from the airport, a welcome bottle of sparkling wine at check-in, to a cake served in the room when one of us had a birthday. The restaurant Casafina became our favorite, and here too the service was top-notch alongside truly delicious food. With the hotel's own rooftop bar as well, this made for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

Incredible welcome from the front desk - I did not catch her name - but she remembered mine every morning. Stunning decor and design - the hotel is breathtaking and located in the most beautiful square in Estepona. The room is spacious, well equipped and with an amazing view. The shower is worth a mention - best shower I have ever had in any hotel - anywhere. All in all including the outstanding rooftop bar and restaurant, this hotel will remain long in your memory - all for the right reasons :-)
