This was our second time and it didn't disappoint. The property is beautifully maintained and we enjoyed sitting by the outdoor fireplace, in the hot tub inside the grotto, playing ping pong on the beach and swimming in the heated pool. Looking forward to going there again.

Love the view! Very nice accommodations. Indoor pool advertised like it was open, it was not. Only disappointment. We will definitely visit again.

We wanted a mini-vacation to enjoy Lake George. This was perfect with access to a small private beach, gym, and Boathouse restaurant. Great views of the lake, quiet, serene, kitchen fully equipped.

Stay Away! I don’t write reviews so here it goes. If you are open in the winter months and illustrate you have a gym, outdoor fireplace, hot tub, pool, restaurant etc. and customers pay full price they should get full service. None of these items were open or usable. The gym was 40 degrees, equipment did not work, tv’s did not work. Restaurant, pool,hot tub not open, Outdoor fireplace not even close. The service was so bad when I called because we smelled gas from the indoor fireplace no one came or called back to check. We were out all day and would be back until late so I requested additional bathroom items soap, shampoo, tp etc to be dropped at the door. Not only was it never done they said I could come get them at the office. The people “working” in the office just sit around and do nothing and literally are anti-customer service. Do everyone a favor and close in the winter if you are only going to be run like a self serve campground with no amenities. Really lame, obvious won’t be back but I would the owner to give me a call however I know they won’t.

Great stay at the Lodges, amazing property, it has everything: a pool, a private beach, a restaurant, games, inside the rooms are amazing - feels like you are in the woods ready to hunt but with all the modern amenities. We stayed there in almost winter weather but it was still very cozy and atmospheric, but I can imagine how amazing it is when it’s the season! Very friendly and helpful staff, thank you for the hospitality and beautiful property, the best on lake George!

We loved staying here and were sad to leave. The cabin we stayed in had two bedrooms and two baths with a lake view and full kitchen. It was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and playing on the beach. I utilized the gym which had a nice view. My one complaint would be that the one treadmill in there was broken. We also rented a boat for a few hours one day which was a lot of fun. The Boathouse restaurant was really good and accommodating for the kids in our party. We are truly going miss the lake view and relaxing atmosphere.

The beach and swimming area is a little small, but it was still lovely. We brought our own paddle boards in order to stay out on the water as long as we wanted, but they do offer paddle boards and kayaks to be used for 45 minutes at a time.

This property is beautiful. But realize it's just that. There is limited service and even though they charge over 1k per night they don't provide pool towels. They told me to go buy some at their store. Amazing property but that's all you are getting here.

Beautiful cabins that came with all amenities ! The cabins were extremely clean (like spotless) and the beds were very comfortable. Even the pullout couch was surprisingly comfortable! The washer and dryer was great to use. It was quiet. I didn’t hear my neighbors at all. The grounds were beautiful and we loved the hot tub! The staff were very responsive and accommodating. We were a couple minutes from all the shops and a Uber was very easy to get. Definitely recommend.

This was probably one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The grounds were kept up and so beautiful. The rooms were much bigger than I imagined and also maintained and as clean as the outside. The kitchen is well appointed with anything you might need. I highly recommend The Lodges at Cresthaven and can't wait to go back. The only drawback to mention is there might be a lot of steps for someone who can't do steps. Other than that everything was perfect from the beginning to the end of our stay. The steps weren't a problem for me, but I just wanted to make others aware of the steps to get down to the restaurant and beach area as well as the steps getting to some of the rooms.

Overall it’s a beautiful resort overlooking the lake. I do think the rooms have gone downhill a little since the last time we were here a few years back. Clean but had a mildew smell, almost like wet dog. The TV in the living room didn’t work and the one sink in the bathroom was clogged. I love how it’s so quiet and cozy in these cabins though. I would still stay again!

The pictures made the property look so beautiful but the room had paper thin walls, could hear the people next door talking all night long and blaring their tv, bathroom was not clean especially the tub which had hair all over it, view was ok but the lodge we stayed is was set much farther from the lake than we were expecting, on site restaurant appeared to be closed as well, no room service

The property is absolutely beautiful and the location is great. However, the lodge we were assigned needed a more thorough cleaning as the carpet in the living room area had toenail clippings and crumbs and there was a significant amount of mold on the grout in the primary shower. The king-size bed was at least 34 inches from the floor which made it difficult to get in and out of. A cooler that we brought with us was used to step on in order to get in and out of the bed. Also, the mattresses on the beds in the 2nd bedroom and on the pullout need to be replaced. The pool and grotto could use a cleaning too. On the positive side, the lake views from the lodge were very nice. The grounds and beach were pristine and the resort offered several activities/events for guests. We also found the staff very friendly and professional.

Grounds and room were very nice. Walls in units are paper thin and we unfortunately had a couple with a toddler and baby that woke up screaming and shreiking every morning at 5:30 am. Parents proceeded to talk to each other very loudly over the chaos. Miserable. We would leave and try to get a nap in the afternoon to make up for lost sleep but nothing changed...nonstop jumping on the floor and screams. We love kids, but these kids were totally out of control.

Pros: Beautiful location on Lake George! Rustic large clean room. Cons: Very thin walls, you can easily hear your neighbors. Shower is challenging to get into as it is part of a high-sided whirlpool tub.

This was the perfect resort for a peaceful romantic trip! From the moment you arrive, you realize you are someplace special. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and check-in was a breeze. Our lodge was just breathtaking. It was huge yet very cozy. We had two huge bedrooms and the most beautiful veranda with sweeping views of the lake. I can’t put into words how comfortable the furniture and the beds are. Every detail has been carefully thought out in design and function. The kitchen had everything in it that we needed and the fireplace just added that little extra to the beautiful living area. It snowed when we were there which was absolutely beautiful and I have to commend the resort and the maintenance department for how quickly and carefully they cleared the snow. Just a beautiful place and we cannot wait to visit again.

The Lodges at Cresthaven were the perfect place for a family getaway. Rooms were extremely spacious and well stocked. The view from the room overlooking Lake George was breathtaking. Lots of activities on the premises great for all ages, including but not limited to playground, gym, game area, exercise room, restaurant, etc. Individual units having parking garages was a very nice touch. The Lodges at Cresthaven were the perfect place for a family getaway. Rooms were extremely spacious and well stocked. The view from the room overlooking Lake George was breathtaking. Lots of activities on the premises great for all ages, including but not limited to playground, gym, game area, exercise room, restaurant, etc. Individual units having parking garages was a very nice touch. Stay Away! I don’t write reviews so here it goes. If you are open in the winter months and illustrate you have a gym, outdoor fireplace, hot tub, pool, restaurant etc. and customers pay full price they should get full service. None of these items were open or usable. The gym was 40 degrees, equipment did not work, tv’s did not work. Restaurant, pool,hot tub not open, Outdoor fireplace not even close. The service was so bad when I called because we smelled gas from the indoor fireplace no one came or called back to check. We were out all day and would be back until late so I requested additional bathroom items soap, shampoo, tp etc to be dropped at the door. Not only was it never done they said I could come get them at the office. The people “working” in the office just sit around and do nothing and literally are anti-customer service. Do everyone a favor and close in the winter if you are only going to be run like a self serve campground with no amenities. Really lame, obvious won’t be back but I would the owner to give me a call however I know they won’t.

The room and views was very nice. However, not having staff after 6pm was a horrible decision. The room next to our room was partying until 3am and no staff was there to reinforce the rules of quiet time from 10pm to 7am.

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. One experience was we had dinner at The Boathouse Restaurant. As we were leaving a young man asked if we would like a ride in the golf cart back to our lodge. I know this may be his job but the way he spoke to us and handled himself was perfect. What a great young man. My wife recently had surgery and this was great. That was one detailed encounter. All that we met were very nice and pleasant. Thank you.

We were blown away by the beautiful accommodations and the courteous and professional staff. Their on site restaurant was outstanding. When the staff saw that my companion was ambulating slowly with a cane and in visible discomfort, someone had met us outside the restaurant with a golf cart so she wouldn't need to walk back to our room. That was a real godsend. We greatly look forward to staying there again!

Away from town and most of the noise. Boathouse restaurant noise could be heard at beach front lodge #3. Walls thin, could hear eachother within the cabin. Beautiful view of the lake. We had everything we needed, walkable to pool and restaurant. Loved the Adirondack decorated lodge. We would definitely consider coming again.

Boyfriend and I came up from PA for a long weekend stay. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Lodge is right along the lake, and road into town. Very clean, cozy, and spacious room. We will be back hopefully soon!

This was probably one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The grounds were kept up and so beautiful. The rooms were much bigger than I imagined and also maintained and as clean as the outside. The kitchen is well appointed with anything you might need. I highly recommend The Lodges at Cresthaven and can't wait to go back. The only drawback to mention is there might be a lot of steps for someone who can't do steps. Other than that everything was perfect from the beginning to the end of our stay. The steps weren't a problem for me, but I just wanted to make others aware of the steps to get down to the restaurant and beach area as well as the steps getting to some of the rooms.

Way too overprized and beach is small and rocky and there’s no lifeguard so you can swim unless 2 adults watching and they kayak rentals end at 3pm so no afternoon or sunset kayaking. If you are handibcaped or with a stroller this would be a nightmare there’s step dozens of steps up and down the beach and complex and the only restaurant on site is so popular that cannot even accommodate guests at the lodge or even get their food ordered to be taken within the complex.

The Lodges at Cresthaven is the only place we will stay at when visiting Lake George. We have stayed at different places in lake George and the lodges at Cresthaven hands down is the best of the best. We loved staying here and were sad to leave. The cabin we stayed in had two bedrooms and two baths with a lake view and full kitchen. It was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and playing on the beach. I utilized the gym which had a nice view. My one complaint would be that the one treadmill in there was broken. We also rented a boat for a few hours one day which was a lot of fun. The Boathouse restaurant was really good and accommodating for the kids in our party. We are truly going miss the lake view and relaxing atmosphere.

They have pocket doors on the bathrooms with no locks. The slope of the property was so great that my reasonably healthy wife could not access the beach area. The property is beautiful, but in my opinion it is not well suited for older adults.

We only stayed 2 nights but it was great. Our lodge was spacious and the bed was comfortable. My nephew got married and it was nice only having to walk 2 min to get there. The only thing I didn't like was the pool only being open till 8pm.

This area is several notches down from Saratoga Springs, where at least you can wine and dine decently and go to a concert. We will not be back.
