Love the pool, market, eateries, proximity to Ala Moana, Waikiki, entertainment. No housekeeping before 8am or after 10pm, clogged toilet has to wait. Freshly shampooed carpet was damp and smelled. Loud a/c wall unit. It was sufficient for a 2 week stay. Laundry room on each floor. No ice machines. Parking $45/day valet or block away $28 above Red Lobster. Beaches are rocky, have to walk to Hilto n Hawaiian or drive to Ala Moana.

The elevator at the hotel was down for majority of our stay and We were there for a special occasion so that was disappointing especially when we received zero sincerity when we complained about this. There was no urgency or transparency around when it would be fixed. Additionally our shower only got barely luke warm and there was banging somewhere in the hotel. Anytime we left our room it took like 20-30 Minutes to get to or from our room because you had to wait for the elevator. Then due to only one elevator working, there were signs everywhere that said the limit was 7 people per elevator as to not stress the only one left working. Yet their own staff were not adhering to this, putting customers at risk everytime of being stuck in there and 17 floors is too high to take stairs. We were in the elevator one day with 7 people and two employees still got on surely they are more than aware of the limit being they are employed there. We had been trying to be patient and tried to wait it out but we had been woken up on multiple mornings to the sound of drilling or something obnoxious above us, no hot water and no proper working elevators and were told our whole stay it was being worked on and nothing was fixed until the end of our stay and none of that is the expectation we paid for prior to arriving there. Multiple times we had to get off the elevator because staff got on making the elevator over capacity.

Amazing stay! Highly recommend doing the valet overnight parking for the entire stay.. it was so convenient to just come and go and staff is so quick and friendly. Will def be staying here again :)

This is an old property but nicely maintained. The Hilton next door has many more amenities but the selling point for this property is the kitchen in each room. Negative -- they close the pool early and don't have enough umbrellas for shade.

The shower was in desperate need of a good cleaning as mildew was growing on the tiles. The room has a window ac installed on the patio and someone complained about water dripping below from the AC running. Hotel security came to my room and asked to look at it. Let him in and clearly the water dripping is from normal condensation from the unit running. Hotel secuirty told me the unit needed a dril pan under it, explained to him i was not the owner of the room and i couldnt do anything for them and they will need to have maintenace deal with it after our stay. Security asked if I was going to leave to turn the AC off. Told him i didnt want my room to get hot while i was gone because the small AC would take too long to cool the room back down quickly and was not going to shut it off, but if they wanted to change our room we would move. He said it was not upto him and left. later that evening we returned to our room after dinner and found someone has enterred the room while we were gone and put a pan under the AC and shut the AC off and the room was hot just as i expected. For the hotel to expect a customer to be ok walking into a hot room because the AC is dripping water down the exterior building is ridiculous. Lastly the staff working here is clearly unhappy. They held a protest infront of the hotel with megphones for a while which was very loud and not peaceful as you would expect while on vacation. Will not be staying at this hotel on our next visit.

The location is excellent. There are just two issues. First, the resort room had a strong odor of sewage water the entire stay. Second, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Room was spacious but felt it was a little dirty. Bathroom shower and toilet were dirty before we even used it. Turned me off to using the kitchenette. Staff was rude upon check in and had to ask twice to be put on the list to clean and get fresh linens. Kinda ridiculous. The place needed updating and a good thorough cleaning. Not staying here again.

Listen, are you a clean person? Because this was not a clean hotel. Great location. Valet parking was great. The price is alright. But the room? Dirty toilet. Dirty bathtub. Dirty shower curtain. The kitchen floor/counters were sticky. The microwave was gross to touch. Literal pills of something were in the trash can. Like actual pills. Drugs? Medicine? Who knows. Bed was comfy and seemed clean. The tv wasn’t working. I did love the balcony and the huge doors to a city view. I’m just warning you, it’s dirty, and the front desk people are not all that friendly. More concerned about upgrades and activities, than actual checking in and making sure the hotel is taken care of. You’ve been warned!

A two minute walk to the beach and the lagoon, which was perfect for the kids. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Delicious Kona coffee in the room. Only downside is we stayed on the 15th floor on the city side and traffic was quite noisy at night. Otherwise, would definitely stay here again!

Their “standard” condo room was quite spacious. Very comfortable bed. The kitchen was equipped with a full size stove and refrigerator plus a microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The room had its own router and wi-fi signal was excellent. Large picture windows with great black out curtains. Soap, shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower.

It's a big room with a full kitchen, king sized bed, pull out sofa and big balcony. Extremely comfortable bed! And I loved how the a/c didn't get too cold or too warm. We slept so well!

Liked that it was clean. Wonderfully clean. But it is dated. Air conditioner is a small individual unit. Worked well. Great wifi, great location to get around. Downside is a walk from the beach. Overall good economical choice.

If you like to be away from all the hustle and bustle of Waikiki’s main strip, this is a great spot. Also next to the Hilton, with the lagoon and fireworks on Friday nights. The beaches around the property are much less crowded than over by the main strip. Bring your water shoes because there are a lot of small coral rocks on the sea bed. If you’re there in the summer, you won’t see great sunsets because of the obstructed view of the marina and landscape but if you head down to the main beach about a 15 to 20 minute walk, you can see the sunset well. The Waikiki Marina resort staff are friendly and very helpful. The housekeeping staff is also very diligent and kind. We rented a vehicle and parked at the marina, which is a dollar an hour, much more reasonable than parking in the valet or hotel Parkade. Having the kitchen is a bonus as well to prepare breakfast, go back to your hotel for lunch when you are on the beach nearby or to keep a good supply of water in your refrigerator. The rooms are adequately stocked with hotel amenities like shampoo and cream and body wash. Coffee, sugar, filters, salt and pepper., but do not expect umbrellas in beach chairs as these are not privately owned suites like others in the building. We had a studio with a city view, which proved to be quite noisy at night, but a pair of ear plugs solved that pretty easily.

Staff Shawn, David and other staffs was very friendly and made our stay comfortable. Thank you! The location is wonderful, walk to beach, shopping centers and restaurants. Uber is easy and bus stop is not far. We loved this place and hope to stay again if we come to Honolulu again.

Check in was smooth. The staff at check in were really nice. Carolina gave us a map of the island and gave us suggestions on great places to visit. The rooms were clean and had plenty amenities, and had a great balcony city view. The hotel is a great location, its a few minutes walk to the beach, within walking distance to Ala Moana and Waikiki Beach.

arrived front desk told us we have no reservations, waited for 3 hours in the middle of the night tell shift change, the reservation was there, called the manager left him a message he never returned my call, they took a Security deposit didn't return it for 2 weeks. management communication is bad.

We had a fantastic stay! The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect—just across the street from the lagoon and beach, which made it super convenient for daily strolls and enjoying the water. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Kent, who checked us in—he was super awesome and made us feel right at home. Loved that there’s a gift shop right in the hotel where we could grab our coffee every morning, and the on-site ice cream shop was a sweet bonus! One of the highlights was watching the Friday night fireworks right from our room—such a treat. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

Loved that there’s a gift shop right in the hotel where we could grab our coffee every morning, and the on-site ice cream shop was a sweet bonus! One of the highlights was watching the Friday night fireworks right from our room—such a treat. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

Very friendly front desk staff. Shaun was especially kind to us during our check-in, and Carissa was great during check-out. Absolutely loved the suite we stayed in, having a kitchen was a great plus, I do wish however there were more kitchen cloths but it was no biggie without it. Just needs some updating as some parts are a little outdated, but it was very clean regardless! Location was 10/10! We were close to Ala Moana mall AND close to Waikiki strip, and close to the Hilton lagoon. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Hawaii, we enjoyed it a lot.

Have always been curious about staying at the Ilikai but never had until this trip. The location is on the edge/beginning of waikiki and it's definitely quieter. A walk along the beach gets you into the heart of waikiki no problem. The room was a little outdated but that was the only flaw i found. Would recommend and also stay again

I enjoyed the location of the property and the continence of having a market and food options on site. The pools were clean and well maintained, as well as our room we stayed in. I would not choose to have a balcony facing the street again, only thing I would change. And $45 per day to valet park is a bit steep I believe as well.

The outside is beautiful! Waterfalls and nice tiles on the floors. The rooms were well-insulated against noise from other rooms. The kitchen was surprisingly well-stocked with everything you would need to make your own meals during a week-long stay. The bad: having no front desk staff from 10pm to 8am at a luxury resort is ridiculous, especially considering how hard it is to figure out where to go when you arrive in the middle of the night. The building is a bit of a labyrinth that takes some getting used to. Our shower's water temperature regulation was broken (hot water kept going cold randomly), which we mentioned to front desk staff. It was never fixed during our week long stay. Front desk said we'd be entitled to fresh towels on the fourth day of our stay, but it appears you have to ask for them to actually get them. The front desk only has one worker, so it's always really busy. While we were there, they were having an abundance of electrical issues that required a total of 15 hours of power outages. As a result, half of the shops in the building were closed during our stay, due to them being food vendors and needing refrigeration to sell food. Valet parking was $45USD which was ridiculous to us considering how much it costed to stay there. The cheapest parking nearby was $27USD, but they don't tell you there's cheaper parking unless you ask. My husband also almost got mugged in the cheaper parking garage. Won't stay here again.

Mixed bag with large rooms but showing some age. Some owner occupied, some vacation club, some AirBnB, and some traditional hotel rooms. Only one restaurant, but plenty nearby. Convenient to Ala Moana Center.

What an outstanding stay! The room was clean, well stocked and super comfortable. Staff members were warm, welcoming and very responsive to all requests. The resort was quiet and conducive to great sleep. Food in the hotel restaurants was superb. Book it! You will not be disappointed!

9日間の宿泊期間中、大変満足いたしました。当初、低層階の客室に割り当てられましたが、交渉により高層階の客室に変更していただき、心より感謝申し上げます。客室の冷房機の雑音が大きく、冷凍庫の機能に問題が生じていた点はございましたが、その他の点においては一切問題ありませんでした。

I wasn't sure what to expect because based on the price being so much better I was a little nervous. However, this hotel did not disappoint. It is a gigantic property the rooms are huge and everything was very clean. We were in a city facing room that had a gigantic balcony and had a beautiful view, There were washer/dryers a few doors down from the room which we used without any issue. There is so much right around the hotel. There are shops right on the ground floor. The bus stops right out front and the hop on hop off Waikiki trolley stops in front of the hotel for the pink line and the other lines are just a five minute walk. In the courtyard they have performances on different nights. You can see the Hilton fireworks right from the courtyard also. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. It is expensive of course... like everywhere else, but was great. Staff was amazing. Will stay again!
