Mycket bra vistelse på Sylvan. Servicen, utsikten och renligheten var toppen! God frukost! Området hade fina pooler och strand. Negativt var att visa rum nås med linbana. Linbanan var inte den snabbaste men ringde man på receptionen kunde de hämta en med golfbil. Det ligger vid regnskogen så läget var väldigt vackert. Dyr restaurang. Mycket vilda apor i det övre området, värt att hålla avstånd från dessa.

Frukostbuffé, poolområden vid havet, shuttleservice till rummet och Kai Bae. Hela omgivningen är fint, rent och fräscht. Men främst all personal som var då hjälpsam och trevligt. Underbart hotell med fantastiska amenities, skulle varmt rekommenderas.

Huge resort. You can walk everywhere, but it’s very hilly. Some of the paths are incredibly steep, and you have to be very careful in case it’s slippy, so definitely not suitable for everyone. The hotel has its own funicular, with 4 stops connecting the beach with the rooms and restaurant right at the top. This is a great help, but it’s SO slow and only holds 6 people. Because it was off-season, one of the restaurants was closed for refurbishment, and the gym was closed for a couple of days whilst it was being decorated. When the gym was open, it was excellent. All new equipment, and more than the average hotel gym. There isn’t really a beach - the hotel has created a kind of fake beach instead. It looks ok, but it’s hard underfoot. The food in the restaurant was excellent, both at breakfast and in the evening. Because it was so quiet, there was a smaller, more limited buffet on my first couple of mornings. My room was a bit dated, but very clean and well maintained. It was nice to have a bath to relax in. Bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. Not nearly enough power sockets, and the walls and ceiling were very thin. It’s a 20-25 minute walk to both Kai Bae and Lonely Beach. They have a shuttle service three times a day to Kai Bae, but it’s only one way! And the last one is at 4pm. Generally, I was very impressed, and felt I got great value for money. The staff were mostly lovely. The upkeep of such a big place is no mean feat.

코창에서 해변이 제일 좋은 리조트임. 수영장도 나쁘지 않고 아침부페에서 보는 뷰는 최고임. 단점은 트램이 너무 늦음.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sylvan again - we were here 2 years ago. Hotel and rooms all very clean and room cleaning and bed and towel changes perfect! Excellent choices at breakfast and pools and beach area top notch. Beautiful setting for this lovely hotel. Can highly recommend to anyone! Jessica the manager on night shifts was exceptionally helpful and friendly - lovely person ! Only thought we have is to encourage more visitors to the lovely new Sylvie Cafe is to reduce the prices to a more realistic pricing - the prices were over the top and the cafe often empty - such a shame. Also beach bar prices quite high - I’m sure if the prices were lower the hotel would win in the end as people would buy more . Food lovely at the hotel for lunch and dinner but a bit pricey .

Vi hadde det veldig fint her sammen med våre to barn på 8år og 10måneder. Har vært innom alle 3 bassengene, stranda, poolbaren og resturanten. Servicen er god og personalet hyggelig. Dessverre var taubanen ute av stand, så det ble mye kjøring med golfbiler og små «lastebiler» for å komme oss fra hotellrommet vårt som lå øverst på området og ned til restaurant osv som lå nederst. Det gikk helt smertefritt, men krevde at man måtte ringe de og be om skyss hver gang man skulle noe sted. Ett sted vi kan anbefale andre å reise til, og ett sted vi gjerne kommer tilbake til.

Amazing in all kinds of way but the service was the most impressive! We tested basically everything at the resort. Rainforest spa, café by the pool, both pools, sunset restaurant, taxi service, kajaking and also Sylvan Cafe. Service was 5/5 in all places. The room was spacious and great, breakfast was inpressive with a stunning view!! Only negative is bad wifi in our room and too many bugs (and monkeys) on the balcony so we were never able to sit outside at night. However - well worth the money :)

Das SYLVAN Koh Chang ist ein sehr sauberes Hotel mit freundlichen und engagierten Mitarbeitern. Das Frühstück war lecker und bot einen schönen Ausblick. Weniger positiv waren die überteuerten Preise im Restaurant sowie der Strand, der öfter gereinigt werden könnte.

We have really enjoyed our 2 week stay at Sylvan. Rooms were good and spacious and kept very clean. Only criticism is that the beds were very hard. We really appreciated free water bottles every day and clean beach towels. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. We loved the effortless way of getting around the resort with the buggies. Great pools to choose from and a lovely beach. One tip for the hotel is that maybe they should provide recycling for plastics bottles, cans etc. food was good as well although on the expensive side. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in town though and easy and cheap to get there by taxi. Can also recommend Lonely Beach. All in all we had a great holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel and location - beautiful! Great sunsets as well.

Gute Unterkunft, wir hatten ein tolles großes Zimmer mit super Aussicht und gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Beim Frühstück gab's eine große Auswahl, es war alles frisch zubereitet und sauber. Natürlich ist es eine große Anlage mit vielen Personen, wenn man es ruhiger möchte, sollte man zwischen 7-8 Uhr Frühstücken gehen. Es gibt zwei große Pools, beide sehr schön, hätten jedoch sauberer sein können. Der Strandabschnitt ist nicht sehr groß und die Liegen sind meistens schon früh belegt, hat uns jedoch jetzt nicht gestört. Über den Strand kann man fußläufig gut ins "Zentrum" vom K.B. Beach laufen, bei Ebbe auch mit Turnschuhen. Über die Straße laufen sollte man nicht, dann lieber Taxi oder Roller. Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt!

Room seemed dated but in good shape. Stuffy noses both of us every night. Maybe dusty or Aircon needed a cleaning. Not nearly enough outlets for this day and age. Great staff throughout hotel. Great views, very laid back. Not impressed with the breakfast buffet and the Coffee machine coffee was really lousy. Spa was just ok. Beach bar cocktails were excellent. We liked our stay but plenty of room for improvement. Probably stay again but in the renovated section only. Really hope to see improvements in the areas We mentioned.

Veldig bra hotell, god mat, hyggelig betjening. Stor forskjell på rommene. Reserve beachfront og suite er moderne nyrenoverte rom med høy standard. De ligger rundt basseng og strand området. Det finnes også et eller flere bygg oppe i høyden. Disse betegnes med view. Dette er eldre rom med dårligere standard og i vårt tilfelle mye mugg. Vi oppgraderte derfor til reserve rom med en gang. Jeg reagerer på mugg, og ville ikke klart å sove i det første rommet, så pass på når du booker.

Skønt ophold Super fin udsigt fra værelset, med direkte udsigt over vandet, store værelser, rengøring perfekt, og altid smilende personale.😀😀 Fint menukort, restaurant direkte på stranden. Shuttlebus 🚙🚙vil være fint med flere afgange, der er mange som skal med bussen, kører kun kl 10.00 - 13.00 16.00, ville være god service hvis der også var en afgang kl. 18.00 når mange på hotellet skal ind til byen og spise 😀😀

Molte camere e ville sono spaziose e offrono splendide viste sul mare, soprattutto le ville sulla spiaggia e a bordo piscina. Vi boede i en pool villa og det var helt perfekt. Der var tænkt over alle detaljer. Det levede fuldstændigt op til billederne og lidt til! Det er alle pengene værd. Hotellet er generelt lidt slidt. Og trænger til vedligeholdelse. Men det betød ikke så meget. Fordi villaen var smukt vedligeholdt. Personalet er meget venlige og maden er ok.

Morgenmadsbuffeten var som at åbne gaver. Nyt og spændende. Dejlig lokation. Privat strand og meget hjælpsomt personale. Kan varmt anbefales. Eneste lille ting var at man kunne høre stolene skratte fra morgenmadsbuffeten over os.

Huge resort. You can walk everywhere, but it’s very hilly. Some of the paths are incredibly steep, and you have to be very careful in case it’s slippy, so definitely not suitable for everyone. The hotel has its own funicular, with 4 stops connecting the beach with the rooms and restaurant right at the top. This is a great help, but it’s SO slow and only holds 6 people. Because it was off-season, one of the restaurants was closed for refurbishment, and the gym was closed for a couple of days whilst it was being decorated. When the gym was open, it was excellent. All new equipment, and more than the average hotel gym. There isn’t really a beach - the hotel has created a kind of fake beach instead. It looks ok, but it’s hard underfoot. The food in the restaurant was excellent, both at breakfast and in the evening. Because it was so quiet, there was a smaller, more limited buffet on my first couple of mornings. My room was a bit dated, but very clean and well maintained. It was nice to have a bath to relax in. Bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. Not nearly enough power sockets, and the walls and ceiling were very thin. It’s a 20-25 minute walk to both Kai Bae and Lonely Beach. They have a shuttle service three times a day to Kai Bae, but it’s only one way! And the last one is at 4pm. Generally, I was very impressed, and felt I got great value for money. The staff were mostly lovely. The upkeep of such a big place is no mean feat.

Room seemed dated but in good shape. Stuffy noses both of us every night. Maybe dusty or Aircon needed a cleaning. Not nearly enough outlets for this day and age. Great staff throughout hotel. Great views, very laid back. Not impressed with the breakfast buffet and the Coffee machine coffee was really lousy. Spa was just ok. Beach bar cocktails were excellent. We liked our stay but plenty of room for improvement. Probably stay again but in the renovated section only. Really hope to see improvements in the areas We mentioned.

Veldig bra hotell, god mat, hyggelig betjening. Stor forskjell på rommene. Reserve beachfront og suite er moderne nyrenoverte rom med høy standard. De ligger rundt basseng og strand området. Det finnes også et eller flere bygg oppe i høyden. Disse betegnes med view. Dette er eldre rom med dårligere standard og i vårt tilfelle mye mugg. Vi oppgraderte derfor til reserve rom med en gang. Jeg reagerer på mugg, og ville ikke klart å sove i det første rommet, så pass på når du booker.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely location with superb rooms. Room view was obscured by a tree but you can’t win them all. Food was great though resort prices are double you will pay for the same thing a short taxi ride away. Overall though it was nice relaxing stay.

Amazing in all kinds of way but the service was the most impressive! We tested basically everything at the resort. Rainforest spa, café by the pool, both pools, sunset restaurant, taxi service, kajaking and also Sylvan Cafe. Service was 5/5 in all places. The room was spacious and great, breakfast was inpressive with a stunning view!! Only negative is bad wifi in our room and too many bugs (and monkeys) on the balcony so we were never able to sit outside at night. However - well worth the money :)

From start to finish it was totally amazing,the staff on Reception made us feel welcome from the very start as did all of the other staff at the hotel, All of them were so friendly and polite and had a smile on their faces all times. Amazing hotel but the staff made it just that little bit more special & are credit to the hotel.love this place will definitely be coming back. Many thanks :-)

If you need a hotel on Koh Chang, Sylvan is your best choice! We stayed four nights and enjoyed every day of it. Make sure to book the Deluxe Beachfront room if you prefer close access to the beach and restaurant. Excellent and helpful staff. We booked a snorkel-boat and transfer to the next destination in the hotel reception. Everything went smooth. Very low tide in the afternoon/night time. Possible to walk along the beach to other restaurants without problem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sylvan again - we were here 2 years ago. Hotel and rooms all very clean and room cleaning and bed and towel changes perfect! Excellent choices at breakfast and pools and beach area top notch. Beautiful setting for this lovely hotel. Can highly recommend to anyone! Jessica the manager on night shifts was exceptionally helpful and friendly - lovely person ! Only thought we have is to encourage more visitors to the lovely new Sylvie Cafe is to reduce the prices to a more realistic pricing - the prices were over the top and the cafe often empty - such a shame. Also beach bar prices quite high - I’m sure if the prices were lower the hotel would win in the end as people would buy more . Food lovely at the hotel for lunch and dinner but a bit pricey .

Bel hôtel mais bien loin du standing d’un 4 étoiles. La réception ne répond pas aux nombreux mails envoyés pour question et réservation. Avons été obligés de faire appeler un ami thaïlandais pour leur expliquer qu’il serait bon de répondre aux mails (4 au total restés sans réponses). L’état des serviettes pas dignes d’un 4 étoiles, n’ont pas retrouvé notre réservation, ni notre paiement pour un taxi pour l’aéroport et pour finir, nous n’avons pas eu de facture de la part de l’hôtel pour notre séjour… Bel hôtel, mais beaucoup d’effort a faire sur la relation client, surtout pour un 4 étoiles… La réception de l’hôtel ne s’est même pas excusée et n’a même pas eu la politesse d’un geste commercial (même d’un simple cocktail pour s’excuser).

Lovely hotel in Koh Chang. Staff is super nice, hotel is modern, lots of activities in hotel area. Breakfast with lot of options. You can rent a scooter from hotel to visit other parts of the island.

È un po' isolato e molto collinare, quindi gli ospiti spesso utilizzano taxi o navette limitate; con la bassa marea è possibile passeggiare lungo la spiaggia per raggiungere le zone vicine.

Beautiful property with a venicular Railway from our room to the beach. Stunning views & nice private beach. The only downside is the hotel is isolated at a top of the hill.You can't walk to the local village as it's on a steep hill with no pavement. You can walk along the beach when the tide is out which is a novelty. Overall a lovely hotel.

Mooie locatie, schitterend uitzicht op zee (we hadden een kamer in het gebouw direct aan het strand). Met kabeltram naar ontbijt. Over het strand bij eb lopen naar het dorpje. Midden in de natuur met prachtige vogels maar ook apen die over de balkon rennen en naar binnen willen dus balkondeuren moesten wel altijd dicht en ook op slot.

Tolle ruhige Hotelanlage , direkt am Strand und mitten im Grünen . Preis/ Leistung stimmt, Strand sehr flach, zwei schöne Pools. Zum Frühstück geht es mit dem Schräglift ganz nach oben. Ins nächste Dorf ca 2 Minuten mit dem Auto oder Taxi

Hôtel magnifique,niché au coeur de la jungle. Chambre bien équipée et spacieuse. Le seul bémol est que l'hôtel est loin de tout et qu'il est compliqué de se déplacer autant sur l'île que dans le resort. Le soir, tout est sombre et nous avons évité quelques grosses chutes. Sinon le petit déjeuner est bien fourni et le cadre aussi.

Hotellet ligger på ett enskilt och lugnt läge men en kort taxiresa bort fanns mysiga barer och restauranger för den som önskar detta. Enda nackdelen med stället var att det fanns en del sandflugor nere vid stranden.

Frukostbuffé, poolområden vid havet, shuttleservice till rummet och Kai Bae. Hela omgivningen är fint, rent och fräscht. Men främst all personal som var då hjälpsam och trevligt. Underbart hotell med fantastiska amenities, skulle varmt rekommenderas.
Frukostbuffé, poolområden vid havet, shuttleservice till rummet och Kai Bae. Hela omgivningen är fint, rent och fräscht. Men främst all personal som var då hjälpsam och trevligt. Underbart hotell med fantastiska amenities, skulle varmt rekommenderas.

Das SYLVAN Koh Chang ist ein sehr sauberes Hotel mit freundlichen und engagierten Mitarbeitern. Das Frühstück war lecker und bot einen schönen Ausblick. Weniger positiv waren die überteuerten Preise im Restaurant sowie der Strand, der öfter gereinigt werden könnte.

Modernes Zimmer (Ocean Reserve), gutes Frühstück trotz langer Schlange an der Kaffeemaschine (meist 2 ok und eine Maschine defekt!). Leider nur ein Restaurant mit eher schlechtem Service in der kompletten Anlage, dafür sehr gutes Essen.

Room seemed dated but in good shape. Stuffy noses both of us every night. Maybe dusty or Aircon needed a cleaning. Not nearly enough outlets for this day and age. Great staff throughout hotel. Great views, very laid back. Not impressed with the breakfast buffet and the Coffee machine coffee was really lousy. Spa was just ok. Beach bar cocktails were excellent. We liked our stay but plenty of room for improvement. Probably stay again but in the renovated section only. Really hope to see improvements in the areas We mentioned.

Kun en restaurant, tidligere var der to. Lang vente tid, virkede som om at personalet ikke helt havde øje på kunderne. Meget larmende aircondition, vi måtte slukke den om natten ellers kunne vi ikke sove. Men utroligt smuk, rigtig god strand og flere pools.

Skønt ophold Super fin udsigt fra værelset, med direkte udsigt over vandet, store værelser, rengøring perfekt, og altid smilende personale.😀😀 Fint menukort, restaurant direkte på stranden. Shuttlebus 🚙🚙vil være fint med flere afgange, der er mange som skal med bussen, kører kun kl 10.00 - 13.00 16.00, ville være god service hvis der også var en afgang kl. 18.00 når mange på hotellet skal ind til byen og spise 😀😀

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sylvan again - we were here 2 years ago. Hotel and rooms all very clean and room cleaning and bed and towel changes perfect! Excellent choices at breakfast and pools and beach area top notch. Beautiful setting for this lovely hotel. Can highly recommend to anyone! Jessica the manager on night shifts was exceptionally helpful and friendly - lovely person ! Only thought we have is to encourage more visitors to the lovely new Sylvie Cafe is to reduce the prices to a more realistic pricing - the prices were over the top and the cafe often empty - such a shame. Also beach bar prices quite high - I’m sure if the prices were lower the hotel would win in the end as people would buy more . Food lovely at the hotel for lunch and dinner but a bit pricey .

Fint pool och strandområde, nära fina kae bae beach. Annars va de inte bra. Lång resor med hissen ner till stranden, dålig frukost! Fy! Tog betalt för en pressad juice? Balkonger fick man inte vistas på pga av apor så man behöver inte ta något specialrum. Service var ganska låg emellanåt fanns någon ensam krigare som sprang nere vid stranden. Fanns ett lunch ställe precis vid hotellet som hette porn, räddade upp maten.

Koh Chang er en fantastisk øy og Sylvans beliggenhet er perfekt; rolig men samtidig en kort spasertur i strandkanten til sentrum. Sylvan er er vakker tropisk oase med Veldig bra mat og service. Bortsett fra harde senger og alt for lang kø ved kaffemaskinen under frokosten så er Sylvan helt topp!

We had such wonderful experiences and rainforest environments the monkeys and birds were such a surprise and a super attendant lady name Jessica who helped us with a tour and was extra. The icing on the cake was the beautiful set up for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time!!🤗

If excellence were embodied into a hotel this would be it. The staff are amazing and the grounds of the hotel are outstanding. You can hit the gym. Swim till yer arms fall off then start hiking some super steep hills.

Sylvanian/Koh Chang hotel is located on a slope and is several buildings around the site, you will be driven to where you are going as well as a cable car down to the beach. Can also be driven down to the first center and picked up. We had a 61 sqm room with a sea view, absolutely beautiful. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice. 3 swimming pools, one by the beach and two connected over two floors as well as a small slide between the two, fitness centers very good. The breakfast buffet was lovely in fantastic surroundings with a sea view. Fabulous absolutely beautiful surroundings, wildlife and sunset. Kayak rental and Spa center-paid for. Could have upgraded some small things, and especially a place for children to play. We had a fantastic absolutely beautiful stay, got a good price also for 5 days around 4454 Norwegian KR. including breakfast. Definitely recommend! Local wildlife is everywhere. Couple from Norway.
