Very helpful staff and nice clean property. Conveniently located with easy walk to old town. Restaurant on site also good. Only think is no coffee in the room is a miss.

I've stayed in a few Mercure hotels over the years, the quality can vary to say the least, but this is an excellent hotel, fairly centrally located and very nicely decorated. Rooms are spacious and very clean, minimalist in a very good way and clearly very well mantained. The patio area downstairs is very pleasant (especially when there aren't big groups of people being loud, which can happen sometimes). The food in the main bar is excellent; we did not try the restaurant but heard it was very good. Staff were friendly and kindly changed my room for one with better views. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.
