Day One Beach Resort & SPA - Adult Only

Day one Beach Resort and Bar – Avoid it. The accommodation looks nice. Unfortunately, the attitude of the service staff is appalling and as a ‘resident’ you are no more than a second-class citizen. They are only interested in earning money from the outsiders who pay to come and ‘be seen’ at Day One. Half of the rooms are by the main pool. All day long, there is loud heavy boom, boom, boom, music playing from many large speakers pool-side. So it is impossible to relax in your room during the day. Poolside – well it gets worse. The pool is crowded by day visitors, so very little room for residents. To use the good poolside sun loungers, there is a minimum charge for bar spends, inc residents. So, they close the pool at 6pm even to residents. Rip-off in-room prices for coffee-pods. I wish we had never gone there.

The good: - direct beach access - beds are comfortable - Origin restaurant nice in the evening - setting overlooking Alanya bay and the castle is lovely The bad: - noisy. Beach club playing loud music in the afternoon but bearable in the swim up rooms. At night a different story. Loud music from the night club, car park and partying hotel guests in rooms nears us until at least 3 am. Noise insulation of rooms terrible - reception staff not welcoming at all - while some service staff are friendly and work very hard, many of them are not and seem to lack training - some of the facilities already look tired. The ladder into sea is rusty and should be replaced - breakfast is ok but service very poor. Staff mainly chatting with each other rather than clearing plates and taking orders I think the hotel has a lot of potential but clearly needs better management and staff training. There are a lot of better options in Turkey in this price category. I don’t think we will come back

We have stayed at this resort two times now . We love the full sea view room . It is very quiet and calm . Also we love the spa services and everyone is so friendly and helpful . They always have a smile . We will return in the future.

Es war in Ordnung, leider fand ich unser Zimmer nicht wirklich sauber und das Personal war zum Teil nicht wirklich freundlich und nicht hilfsbereit aber im ganzen war es okey. Was komisch war, unser Zimmer war direkt vor einer der beiden Poolanlagen, nur die wurde anscheinend fremdvermietet und wir durften die Anlage nicht benutzen bzw. mussten bezahlen um sie nutzen zu können.

I tried to days to have a cake organized for my partner birthday and no one was able to hellp and not interest to find any solution.at the beach club no offer of paying in the room, at the spa which we used, the treatments were high priced but the masseuse did not follow our needs and requests even with feedback. The room when we arrived was not ready/the card did not work, so we received another room which was not ready. The plunge pool had to be cleaned after our request in the next day. The reception did not speak English with the exception of the first guy who welcomed us upon arrival in the evening duty. Generally the hotel gave us the impression that they were not ready to accommodate guests. The best experiences have been the breakfast buffet and the house keeping ladies

Vi tilbrakte en uke på Day One i slutten av mai, og er veldig fornøyd! Dette er et helt nytt (2022) og lekkert hotell vi trygt kan anbefale. Vi hadde rom rett ved bassenget (swim in), og det var helt nydelig! Beach Club rett ved stranda byr på deilig mat og drikke - digg smoothie blant annet! Hotellet har et godt utstyrt treningsrom. Vi testet ikke ut spaet, men dersom der står i stil med resten av hotellet - er det nok fantastisk det også. Hyggelig personale. Restauranten (Origin) har helt ok mat - du kan fint spise der en kveld, men prøv ut andre restauranter også. Kan anbefale Seasons restaurant som ligger ca. 9 minutter til fots mot Alanya.

We had a wonderful stay here. The swim up room is amazing. So nice being able to dip in and out of the pool at your own leisure. Great they also have their own platform at the beach too to relax at. Definitely hoping to stay here again.

Im großen und ganzen eine gute Unterkunft. Leider ist eine von den beiden Pools „Fremdvermietet“ und wird als ein Beachclub betrieben. Deshalb ist es ca. 12:00 - 19:00 Uhr sehr Laut in den Zimmern wie auch im Strandbereich. Für Partyurlauber ist es bestimmt etwas gutes jedoch für ein „Entspannungsurlaub“ nicht geeignet. Minibar wurde nicht jeden Tag aufgefüllt. Bis auf die oben genannten Punkte ist die Unterkunft schön und in der nähe der Stadtmitte.

Es war unglaublich schön. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Hotel hat zwei private Stege direkt am Hotel wo man immer Zugang zu hat, ein unglaublich schönes Restaurant und tolles Personal.

Staff are very rude and unprofessional. The manger is incompetent. They did not honour the welcome drink. The manager blamed it on Expedia’s mistake. They did not put our daily water. We had to call two days in a raw to have them do that automatically, as they supposed to do. The sun bed in the balcony was broken. I fell off and was going to get hurt. I asked to get replaced. I had to call 5 times. They replaced with another unsafe one. The manager said all sun beds are the same! The free beach is not well equipped. You have to pay extra to access the beach club which is well equipped. The information on the website does not include any information about the paid beach. The room had moldy wood siding and a leaky coffee machine. Overall, I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Wir haben uns bewusst für dieses Hotel entschieden. Wir wollten Ruhe und Platz. Das alles bot uns dieses Hotel. Man musste nie einen freien Platz oder eine freie liege am Pool suchen. Auch am Strand war immer der gewünschte Platz frei. Die Musik vom Beach-Club neben an war nicht zu laut oder störend. Das Personal war immer ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Hotelanlage war ein absoluter Traum. Das Hotelzimmer ebenso. Es wurde jeden Tag die minibar aufgefüllt und das Zimmer wurde gesäubert. Wir haben ein Abend im Hotel gegessen und waren danach noch hungrig. Die Portionen sind relativ klein wenn man mit großem Appetit zum Abendessen kommt. Man kann aber außerhalb gut essen. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits des Touristen Hotspot. Zu Fuß, mit dem Rad oder mit dem Taxi konnten wir alles erreichen. Das WLAN war zeitweise nicht verfügbar und das Wasser in der Dusche wurde häufig sehr kalt. Außer diesen genannten Punkten sind wir sehr zufrieden und würden wieder kommen! Es ist eins der schönsten Hotels in denen wir je waren. Danke!

At our arrival the hotel stuff wasnt welcoming us, they were not friednly at our check in time. When we arrived to the hotel we realised what booked and repaid room previously it was completely different what we booked it was Deluxe Sea View room with plunge pool and the room, but when we checked in the room hasnt got view at all, from our we could see dirty plants and completely covered the view and also the bathroom was licking, after the shower the all bathroom and toilet was full with water everywhere. The towels what they provided and the bedsheets was very very smelly and sticky and moldy and we asked to change them the room and speak with the manager but he refused to speak with us. The room wasnt hyginic at all as well. After first night we complained for the hotel stuff and they were very arrogant and they told us they are fully booked no other option to change room. The room number was 101 , Finally we checked out after 1 night and left them and now we are started raise a complain with them and informed our bank as well to take futher steps get back and refund back our money because the hotel refused to refund back our money! I DO NOT recommend to stay there! The hotel advertising different room for expensive prices!!!

Tam anlamıyla mükemmeldi! Tam bir huzur tatili…Çalışanların ilgisi , otelin temizliği , merkeze olan yakınlığı süper. Ek olarak kahvaltı , yemeklerin de lezzeti çok iyiydi. Herkese tavsiye edebileceğim ve pişman olunmayacak deneyimlerden birini yaşamamıza vesile olan otel sahibi ve çalışanlarına teşekkürlerimizi iletiyorum .

Vi reiste som par og ankom ganske sent på kvelden, og fikk ganske lite informasjon om hotellet fra han som var i resepsjonen. Vi tenkte at det var en informasjonsbrosjyre på rommet vårt, noe det ikke var. Vi gikk tilbake til resepsjonen og etterspurte informasjon om ganske elementære ting (frokost, spa, treningsrom osv.) Treningsrom og spa avdelingen er enda under oppussing til informasjon. Frokostbuffeten var helt ok, med lite variasjon og utvalg. Forventet mer ved et 5 stjerners hotell. Å få drikke kunne ta lang tid, gjerne så lang tid at du nesten var ferdig med å spise. Utsikten veldig fin, men blir fort varmt å sitte ute. Veldig fint design og innredning på hele hotellet. Håndverket er vel mer preget av dårlig tid. Vi valgte rom med sjøutsikt med beliggenhet over bassenget til venstre som er tilhørende White in White. Det som ikke blir opplyst på siden er at dette området må du betale for. Hotellet har bare ett basseng og privat plass på stranden til ingen kostnader. Om du ikke liker støy fra musikk fra kl. 12-19 bør du ikke velge dette hotellet. Vi synes det var kjekt å sitte på verandaen og være med festen fra utsiden. Forholdsvis dyrt å bestille drikke på stranden, vi fikk bakoversveis etter første dag. Takviften over sengen sluttet å fungere etter noen dager, ble ikke reparert. Air condition sluttet å fungere, og vi måtte sove uten en natt. Det gikk så vidt. Ble reparert dagen etter. Vi fant 3 sølvkre på rommet. Lite knagger og stoler. Flyplasstransporten er dyr.

The apartment was fantastic but Expedia did not state that the room that we chose was facing the beach club. It should say beach club + partial seaview not just seaview. This was a massive shame. When trying to change the room the hotel staff were not helpful at first, and actually stated it would be "difficult" as opposed to not possible, then the next day when trying again they told me it was fully booked. When we arrived we were greeted with a very loud party that went on till 10pm normally they finish at 7pm. (It would have been nice for Expedia to inform me that this was a possibility with this room) The other side of the hotel was quiet and had a private pool that seemed more exclusive. (We would have preferred this end massively) This was the biggest let down. Expedia should state that your view faces the beach club and is noisy. Breakfast and the facilities were fantastic though.

Reserved and payed 27 945 Turkish Lira for two nights in a Deluxe Sea View - Swim-Up room. Not only did this room not look like pictures, it also didn’t have a proper swim-up. The "Sea View" was also blocked by dried up plants. There was also a path from room 101 right infront of our room, so there is not really any privacy. The receptionists was very friendly. But when we complained about the room the manager came and didn’t even speak to us, he only spoke to his employees in Turkish. His solution to the problem was to refund the money and then we had to leave or we could just keep the room as it is… Soo it was HIS way or the highway… We stayed here last year and enjoyed it very much. Not so much this time… Very dissapointed that there was no compansation or complimentary on the house…

We loved our room . We had a private pool room and it was amazing. There was a good view of the sea. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The staff was always willing to help with whatever we needed . We will definitely stay here again. We also enjoyed dinner at night onsite at the restaurant. We had one morning at the spa and it was very relaxing .

Very clean and specious. Beautiful views. The beach is rocky but not a problem if you can swim well. A good place if you like to party and loud music going on till 1am.

It was a great stay we had a swim up room and it was an amazing holiday they do have a nightclub attached that can get noisy on weekends but nothing too crazy the rest of the place is paradise.. food and drinks are charged at London prices so it won’t be a cheap stay

We will definitely be returning! The suite was modern and spacious with a beautiful ocean view. Most daytime hours were spent on the beach lounging in the cabana beds or at the pool. Very relaxing atmosphere but still high-end. The best part was the amazing staff. At both of the restaurants we were treated so well experienced the warm Turkish hospitality.

This is really a quality resort for adults. I would come again for sure. The rooms are excellent also with a memorable view. Staff are very polite and service is perfect.

Vi boede 13 nætter på Day One i august '24. Hotellet er flot og moderne. Vi havde et pænt og rummelig værelse på 1. sal på siden med den "stille pool". Det var vi rigtig glade for. Der er fantastisk havudsigt fra værelset og altanen. Man kan dog høre musikken fra hotellets restaurant/bar Privee om natten. Hotellet har to restauranter; Privee og Origin. Vi havde en ret dårlig oplevelse af Privee. Virkelig dårlig service. Maden var ok. På Origin var maden god og servicen udemærket. Morgenmaden er god. Kaffen er knap så god og de løb tør for plantebaseret mælk på vores 4. dag. Der er eget strandområde med badebro, med masser af solsenge. Der var altid ledige pladser. Vi oplevede dog at området også blev brugt at gæster fra nabo hotellet eller lokale, blandt andet børn. Poolen var ok. Vi oplevede en del gange af solsenge ved poolen var optaget, uden at de blev brugt. Hotellets spa er pænt. Men det er meget dyrt i forhold til de priser man kan få for behandlinger inde i byen. Hotellet ligger i gåafstanden fra Alanya centrum. Alt i alt et flot og lækkert hotel. Helt klart plads til forbedringer, mest på service området.

We stayed there twice within our two week Alanya holiday. The first time we were at the swimup pool. Amazing welcome!!!! Amazing breakfast!!! Nice room, great bed, and shower. The music from White n White is VERY loud. The origin served amazing food and the roof lounge was really nice. Second stay we were at the suit Really beautiful room, but be aware of the pictures online. There are different suits that doesn’t offer same comfort level. Bit disappointed compared to the price for these rooms. But Loved the jacuzzi!!!! Watching stars at night, beautiful. The minibar service was amazing. We dined at Origin again and this time the experience was dreadful. We didn’t get the same dining experience as the week before. Furthermore I got food poisoning, so I’ve been throwing up for 24 hours non-stop. We really really really like this hotel a lot. But there are some hiccups Front desk manager, he is SO rude. He doesn’t great you at all. Absolutely horrible service. If you want him to be nice to you, you have to give the hotel 5 stars, while he is watching. In the rooms it would be nice to have glasses. We were offered wine, but there were only coffee cups in the room.( and only one cup, when we were 2 persons) And no opener. There were not filled up with coffee There were a bottle cap, next the the coffee machine that wasn’t cleaned up. Minor hiccups, but when they brand them as Ultra luxury hotel, they need to be on point

Lækkert hotel, god service. Fin afstand til byen. Dog prøvede de at give os et værelse der ikke levede op til det bestilte, men det blev fikset på under 24 timer. Det er ikke sidste gang vi booker dertil.

This hotel is the best in Alanya you can find and stay. The staff is very friendly, the property is very clean, especially if you enter to the lobby the very nice parfum smell gives you directly a home feeling ❤️ The breakfast is amazing with lots is nice and delicious variety and the view of the sea during the stay in the restaurant is unbelievable nice 😊 In the evening you can visit the club at the top roof of this hotel with the best view over Alanya with very quality clubbing music and nice guests 💕 Our especially thanks goes to the General Manager Mr. ERCAN BESALTI who takes customer wishes very seriously and takes care with every issue you have. His hospitality as a manager is amazing 🧿 If your time is valuable choose DAY ONE HOTEL 🌹

Wonderful, Relaxing Atmosphere, Sweet and Friendly Service, Most Delightful Stay in the Most Beautiful and Lovely Surroundings Yes, it is not easy to describe Day One Resort in just a few words. My husband and I decided on an impulsive vacation to Alanya. On my birthday, there was wine and fruit in the room, along with cocktails upon arrival. Every morning, we woke up to the most delicious breakfast buffet by the beach, and dinner at the restaurant was equally an experience. We loved the bridge and the wonderful daybeds. Every day there was a DJ by the pool, creating such a cozy atmosphere. It was so convenient to be able to lie on the daybed and order drinks and other items via QR code, and shortly after, a waiter would bring everything. We would like to give Day One Resort our very best recommendations and look forward to returning soon.

Hele hotellområdet var fantastisk flott. Maten var veldig god. Alle ansatte var dyktige og høflige. Vi hadde en «privat» kelner som het Levon, han ytet veldig god service av første klasse til de som bodde i den delen vi hadde leilighet. Vi fikk servert det vi ønsket av mat/drikke direkte på terrassen vår. Terningkast 6. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Skønt Skønt sted i lækker stil og perfekt beliggenhed ved strand. Morgenmaden fantastisk med masser udvalg og lækker frisk frugt.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits des Touristen Hotspot. Zu Fuß, mit dem Rad oder mit dem Taxi konnten wir alles erreichen. Das WLAN war zeitweise nicht verfügbar und das Wasser in der Dusche wurde häufig sehr kalt. Außer diesen genannten Punkten sind wir sehr zufrieden und würden wieder kommen! Es ist eins der schönsten Hotels in denen wir je waren. Danke!

It was a great stay we had a swim up room and it was an amazing holiday they do have a nightclub attached that can get noisy on weekends but nothing too crazy the rest of the place is paradise.. food and drinks are charged at London prices so it won’t be a cheap stay

Otelin konumu ve kumsalda olması harika. Tasarlanırken en küçük detayı bile incelikle düşünülmüş. İşletmeci ve yöneticilerini tebrik ederim. Böylesine doğa dostu olması çok hoşuma gitti. Sürdürülebilirliğe olan katkınızdan ötürü teşekkür ederim. Tekrar geleceğiz

Beautiful location and wonderful settings

Lækkert hotel, god service. Fin afstand til byen. Dog prøvede de at give os et værelse der ikke levede op til det bestilte, men det blev fikset på under 24 timer. Det er ikke sidste gang vi booker dertil.

A little far from the center but nice hotel, can be noisy as very close to the road

Vi boede 13 nætter på Day One i august '24. Hotellet er flot og moderne. Vi havde et pænt og rummelig værelse på 1. sal på siden med den "stille pool". Det var vi rigtig glade for. Der er fantastisk havudsigt fra værelset og altanen. Man kan dog høre musikken fra hotellets restaurant/bar Privee om natten. Hotellet har to restauranter; Privee og Origin. Vi havde en ret dårlig oplevelse af Privee. Virkelig dårlig service. Maden var ok. På Origin var maden god og servicen udemærket. Morgenmaden er god. Kaffen er knap så god og de løb tør for plantebaseret mælk på vores 4. dag. Der er eget strandområde med badebro, med masser af solsenge. Der var altid ledige pladser. Vi oplevede dog at området også blev brugt at gæster fra nabo hotellet eller lokale, blandt andet børn. Poolen var ok. Vi oplevede en del gange af solsenge ved poolen var optaget, uden at de blev brugt. Hotellets spa er pænt. Men det er meget dyrt i forhold til de priser man kan få for behandlinger inde i byen. Hotellet ligger i gåafstanden fra Alanya centrum. Alt i alt et flot og lækkert hotel. Helt klart plads til forbedringer, mest på service området.

Skønt Skønt sted i lækker stil og perfekt beliggenhed ved strand. Morgenmaden fantastisk med masser udvalg og lækker frisk frugt.

We stayed there twice within our two week Alanya holiday. The first time we were at the swimup pool. Amazing welcome!!!! Amazing breakfast!!! Nice room, great bed, and shower. The music from White n White is VERY loud. The origin served amazing food and the roof lounge was really nice. Second stay we were at the suit Really beautiful room, but be aware of the pictures online. There are different suits that doesn’t offer same comfort level. Bit disappointed compared to the price for these rooms. But Loved the jacuzzi!!!! Watching stars at night, beautiful. The minibar service was amazing. We dined at Origin again and this time the experience was dreadful. We didn’t get the same dining experience as the week before. Furthermore I got food poisoning, so I’ve been throwing up for 24 hours non-stop. We really really really like this hotel a lot. But there are some hiccups Front desk manager, he is SO rude. He doesn’t great you at all. Absolutely horrible service. If you want him to be nice to you, you have to give the hotel 5 stars, while he is watching. In the rooms it would be nice to have glasses. We were offered wine, but there were only coffee cups in the room.( and only one cup, when we were 2 persons) And no opener. There were not filled up with coffee There were a bottle cap, next the the coffee machine that wasn’t cleaned up. Minor hiccups, but when they brand them as Ultra luxury hotel, they need to be on point

Thank you for a fantastic stay at a great hotel just outside the city centre. The staff was very friendly (everyone) - and both the spa and restaurants were very good. Sushi and good drinks on the roof terrace, and al a carte restaurant on the first floor - both facing the sea. We will be back!

Excellent hotel. Nothing is too much trouble, requested a birthday cake for my partner and they brought us the most delicious chocolate cake I have ever tasted! Rooms are lovely and spacious, super big comfy bed, mini bar with water and soft drinks all included and topped up during stay. We had the swim up pool room which is well worth it. Beach club next door we didn't visit but loved the tunes during the day, has a bit of an ibiza chilled vibe to it. We preferred the breakfast in the beach bar than the one included, but was very good value for money and the omelettes were amazing! The pizza during the day is one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted and the service whilst you are sunbathing is also top knotch! Going to book again for next year!
