El lugar es hermoso, con unas vistas impresionantes. El cuarto donde nos quedamos fue grande y con una terraza divina hacia el mar. El staff es super amable. Y el desayuno es increiblemente delicioso, todo muy fresco, natural, gran sabor. Si buscas un lugar apartado de la zona turistica, para descansar, pero al mismo tiempo cerca de todo en auto, es un buen lugar. Cons: Ojo que hay que subir muchisimas gradas, por lo que necesitas buena condicion fisica.

The staff were very nice and friendly. The parking is private but does cost 30 euros a day to park. The steps are older and a lot of them to the top. Dining with in walking distant is limited but the b&b next door restaurant was amazing. The view was wonderful.

My wife and I had a great experience at Villa Alba d’Oro. Our room was immaculately clean, and the pool was crystal clear. We especially appreciated The breakfast service — Alessio and other staff could not have been more accommodating!

What an amazing place! Incredible views, spacious suite with 2 big bedrooms and shared patio with wonderful jacuzzi pool, nice seating and even table football for the kids. Staff were so nice and helpful and breakfast served on the patio was the best we had on our trip. Only downsides were the steps - to be expected for the view but not suitable for anyone unfit or with a disability - and the fact that there are few eating places within walking distance (two restaurants next door are very pricey). But honestly, this place is a very quiet and very lovely slice of paradise.

Even before we arrived, Alessio was extremely helpful in planning our arrival to Amalfi - very responsive and informative via email. When we arrived we were greeted with warmth and smiles from both him and Martina. Our room was stunning with an enormous terrace facing the sea. Martina and staff brought a delicious breakfast each morning and provided bus tickets when needed. Any question we asked, they were there to help. Everyone was lovely and kind. Villa Alba D’Oro is an absolute gem. We will be back!

When we arrived we were greeted with warmth and smiles from both him and Martina. Our room was stunning with an enormous terrace facing the sea. Martina and staff brought a delicious breakfast each morning and provided bus tickets when needed. Any question we asked, they were there to help. Everyone was lovely and kind. Villa Alba D’Oro is an absolute gem. We will be back!

Fantastic stay here! The whole place was magical! Martina greeted us & showed us this amazing rooftop terrace, and our beautiful room. The room was comfortable & the next morning they brought us this huge beautiful breakfast out on the terrace! I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Beautiful villa in the Italian countryside. The host was very helpful as we are from another country and didn’t know how to get around. Breakfast was delicious every day and the pool was wonderful.

Our stay at Villa Alba d'Oro was amazing! We came with our wedding group for a week and even after reading the amazing reviews, the hosts Alessio and Martina, still managed to far exceed our expectations. The property itself was gorgeous and had a unique setup that gave the group plenty of privacy. Plenty of classic charm mixed with modern amenities and multiple exterior spaces with their own amazing views. Anytime we needed something our hosts went above and beyond to deliver an amazing concierge experience. Bus tickets, food, local tips, and assistance with transportation arrangements. Truly took great care of us! Thank you for such a great wedding week!

This property is everything we hoped for and more! The owner was very helpful on check-In and helped with all the luggage. The beds were comfortable, the property very clean, and the air conditioning worked great. The house was also stocked with different wines and alcohol that was at a reasonable price, this was very convenient! There were five couples in our party and we all really enjoy our stay and the property. I would recommend this for its location and stunning views as well.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Villa Alba d’Oro. We were traveling with friends and celebrating a birthday. Everything was fantastic! Alessio, the property manager, and Martina provided exceptional service. They were easily reachable by phone and text and always responded almost immediately. Alessio arranged rides, a chef and stocked the kitchen with items requested before our trip. The villa was in excellent shape, had a magnificent view and was convenient to Amalfi and Positano. You will not be disappointed if you stay at Villa Alba d’Oro on your trip to the Amalfi coast.

It is an excellent property with great views of Amalfi. We had partial view from our room looking east. Other rooms in the property may have south facing views. We noticed some rooms have private terraces. We loved everything about it. The breakfast was excellent. Martina and Allesio are beautiful people with always a smile on their faces. Please note that parking charges of 30 euros/night plus 5 euro/person/night are not included in booking amounts. Although the climb is worth it, please be prepared to climb 100 steep steps from parking lot to rooms. It is not for older or overweight people or those with bad knees or weak heart. Two great but expensive restaurants within walking distance. Neither have good vegiterian options. Amalfi town is 10 min drive and Positano is about an hour.

Our time in Amalfi was so wonderful. Staying at the Villa was the best decision we made for our accommodations. The whole staff were so helpful and kind. Martina and Allisio specifically were amazing hosts. The scenery was breathtaking. We started each day with a lovely breakfast and wonderful cappuccinos while learning about the area thanks to Martina. I had to hold back the tears after leaving this beautiful place. I’ll not forget the lemons all over , the rooster that was up in the hills , the food and most of all, the hosts of the Villa. We couldn’t think of a better place to have spent our honeymoon. Martina and Allisio specifically were amazing hosts. The scenery was breathtaking. I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Villa Alba d’Oro. We were traveling with friends and celebrating a birthday. Everything was fantastic! Alessio, the property manager, and Martina provided exceptional service. They were easily reachable by phone and text and always responded almost immediately. Alessio arranged rides, a chef and stocked the kitchen with items requested before our trip. The villa was in excellent shape, had a magnificent view and was convenient to Amalfi and Positano. You will not be disappointed if you stay at Villa Alba d’Oro on your trip to the Amalfi coast.

My party stayed for three nights. The Villa was very nice with awesome vistas and unique in many ways. Without question the host, Alisio, was the best, most helpful we have ever experienced. The sit-down morning breakfasts on the outdoor patio overlooking the Amalfi coast were a spectacular experience. On the whole we enjoyed our stay. Two things to know concern stairs and transportation. My wife and I are in our 70s and our Villa room was 140 stone steps above the street. It was challenging for us. Also, the transportation situation is problematic. The Villa is about two kilometers outside of town. If you have you own car you're in good shape. But if you don't you're going to deal with expensive taxis, overcrowded public buses and private drivers to get around. We finally had to rely on Alisio to arrange a private driver for several trips because the overcrowded public buses would not stop to pick us up. He was wonderful and took good care of us!

Even before we arrived, Alessio was extremely helpful in planning our arrival to Amalfi - very responsive and informative via email. When we arrived we were greeted with warmth and smiles from both him and Martina. Our room was stunning with an enormous terrace facing the sea. Martina and staff brought a delicious breakfast each morning and provided bus tickets when needed. Any question we asked, they were there to help. Everyone was lovely and kind. Villa Alba D’Oro is an absolute gem. We will be back!

Our stay at Villa Alba d'Oro was amazing! We came with our wedding group for a week and even after reading the amazing reviews, the hosts Alessio and Martina, still managed to far exceed our expectations. The property itself was gorgeous and had a unique setup that gave the group plenty of privacy. Plenty of classic charm mixed with modern amenities and multiple exterior spaces with their own amazing views. Anytime we needed something our hosts went above and beyond to deliver an amazing concierge experience. Bus tickets, food, local tips, and assistance with transportation arrangements. Truly took great care of us! Thank you for such a great wedding week!

We had a wonderful stay here - very quiet in the off-season, and I imagine it's even nicer as a way to get away from the crowds if you go during the summer. Great views and the staff were amazingly helpful with advising us on what to do and for anything we needed during our stay. As others have noted, there are around 100 steps to get to the Villa. They will bring your luggage for you, so don't worry about lugging a suitcase up 10 flights of stairs. Then again, if you are deterred by 100 steps, then it is possible that Amalfi isn't the best destination for you anyway...

El lugar es hermoso, con unas vistas impresionantes. El cuarto donde nos quedamos fue grande y con una terraza divina hacia el mar. El staff es super amable. Y el desayuno es increiblemente delicioso, todo muy fresco, natural, gran sabor. Si buscas un lugar apartado de la zona turistica, para descansar, pero al mismo tiempo cerca de todo en auto, es un buen lugar. Cons: Ojo que hay que subir muchisimas gradas, por lo que necesitas buena condicion fisica.

The staff were very nice and friendly. The parking is private but does cost 30 euros a day to park. The steps are older and a lot of them to the top. Dining with in walking distant is limited but the b&b next door restaurant was amazing. The view was wonderful.

It is an excellent property with great views of Amalfi. We had partial view from our room looking east. Other rooms in the property may have south facing views. We noticed some rooms have private terraces. We loved everything about it. The breakfast was excellent. Martina and Allesio are beautiful people with always a smile on their faces. Please note that parking charges of 30 euros/night plus 5 euro/person/night are not included in booking amounts. Although the climb is worth it, please be prepared to climb 100 steep steps from parking lot to rooms. It is not for older or overweight people or those with bad knees or weak heart. Two great but expensive restaurants within walking distance. Neither have good vegiterian options. Amalfi town is 10 min drive and Positano is about an hour.

What an amazing place! Incredible views, spacious suite with 2 big bedrooms and shared patio with wonderful jacuzzi pool, nice seating and even table football for the kids. Staff were so nice and helpful and breakfast served on the patio was the best we had on our trip. Only downsides were the steps - to be expected for the view but not suitable for anyone unfit or with a disability - and the fact that there are few eating places within walking distance (two restaurants next door are very pricey). But honestly, this place is a very quiet and very lovely slice of paradise.

Fantastic stay here! The whole place was magical! Martina greeted us & showed us this amazing rooftop terrace, and our beautiful room. The room was comfortable & the next morning they brought us this huge beautiful breakfast out on the terrace! I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

No problem if you have your own transport or a private driver. As noted in the ad, there are a lot of steps to reach the Villa, but the views from the terrace and infinity pool are with it. Alessio and the staff are very helpful, and the included breakfast is a wonderful way to start your day exploring the Amalfi coast.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Alba d’Oro. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe and well taken care of. Alessio was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He was always available to help with questions and navigate around the Amalfi coast. The staff on the property were kind and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. My room was cozy and the property is quiet away from the busy area of Amalfi. With that comes the trade off of being further from the town center, it is about an hour walk to Amalfi center or you can take the bus. A warning, the buses are very busy and tricky to navigate. Alessio set me up with a local driver, Pasquale, who was a joy to be around. That is 20€ cash to get into Amalfi town center. These are things I wish I had known or planned better so I wanted to mention here. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the villa so you have some options for meals without having to go into town. The villa was great but Alessio and the rest of his community is what made it extra great! Grazie Mille!

Fantastisk plats, gillar verkligen designen på rummen och hur man jobbat med platsen. Vi hade sviten och hade en otrolig terass med utsikt över kusten. 164 trappsteg upp, men värt det! Väskorna får åka egen hiss nästan hela vägen. Väldigt service inriktad värd som såg och servade alla mycket väl. Det enda jag kunde önskat mer var kanske en varumaskin eller liknande då affärerna är långt bort och ingen bar eller restaurang är i direkt närhet ovanför trapporna. Skulle definitivt återvända. En riktig pärla.

Väskorna får åka egen hiss nästan hela vägen. Väldigt service inriktad värd som såg och servade alla mycket väl. Det enda jag kunde önskat mer var kanske en varumaskin eller liknande då affärerna är långt bort och ingen bar eller restaurang är i direkt närhet ovanför trapporna. Skulle definitivt återvända. En riktig pärla.
