People running this Lodge are all very pleasant and helpful to deal with. One young staffer helped with our bags to the second floor when checking in and wouldn't accept a tip. Heated pool was great and clean. Place was quiet except for when people passed through the halls. Room was spacious and clean although a little dated. Overall value for what we paid was outstanding! Thank you all staff for an enjoyable 2 day stay.

Sauble Lodge was a pleasant place to stay. The room had been updated with new flooring and the bathroom was clean with modern tile. The toilet was sweating a bit, but there isn't much you can do about that. Staff was very friendly and helpful and most things were very well kept. The grounds were very clean and tidy, the room and bathroom were clean, and the linens were mostly in excellent condition, save for a stain I noticed on the underside of one comforter. The TV in the room received many channels, and the air conditioner kept the room at a comfortable temperature without excessive noise. Our only complaint here was that the air conditioner had a smell of "urine" while it was operating. A quick Google search found that it could be due to a clogged drain, so we didn't worry about it too much. The pool area was well kept. The only thing that could have been improved was some staining of the paint just above the water line. Otherwise, the water was clean and staff was skimming it at least twice a day. Overall, our stay at Sauble Lodge was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall maintenance was very well kept. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone unless you are unable to climb stairs. There may be accessible rooms, but we didn't need one, so I'm unsure about that detail.

Fantastic stay! My kids loved swimming pool and diving deck. Beach was very close to walk. Old facilites but well maintained and very clean. Except my bed. I couldnt sleep well b/c the noise of bed and it was truly uncomfortable.

I have to admit we didn't know what to expect of a motel but this was a very pleasant surprise. The service was impeccable from the owner and staff. In fact, on our trip over the past months staying at chain hotels, we got better service and a cleaner, more quiet and comfortable stay. From the greeting to check-in, pool facilities, communal kitchen plus free coffee/tea bar, bbqs, outdoor seating around the property and fireplaces, covenient 2 minute walk to the beach from this quiet residential street and easy walk to restos and shopping, this motel surprised and surpassed expectation. Above all, the is service was worth the stay.

We had a great time. There is a pool and BBQS for guests to use. Also - fire pits! And you couldn’t be closer to the beach. :)

Affordable stay 30 seconds from Sauble Beach. Really nice outdoor pool and picnic tables to use for outdoor eating. Room is nice, bed comfy and clean sheets and towels. Good size tv also. Would recommended supplying hairdryers in rooms as a courtesy to guests. Lobby area had complementary coffee. Perhaps some second hand books for guests to peruse would be nice too. Management very friendly , check in quick and easy. Lots parking spots for guest.

We stayed two nights and it was a great experience. Family run little motel in a great area. Very close to the beach and 15 minutes walk to the main area. Room was clean and updated. Front desk was very helpful in every way. Pool was clean and so were the restrooms. Will definitely be back to this place.

This place is old but extra clean. High season prices are expensive but worth the money. You get a beautiful beach at 5 minutes walking distance. Fire pits and wood available. Pool, and everything you need. I was hesitant but honestly it was great. Enjoyed my stay and would certainly go back again! Owner operated. Thumbs up to them.

Our experience was great the staff were very friendly and accommodating the rooms were extremely clean and newly renovated it was very close to the beach just a 2 minute walk and it was close enough to the main strip where my young kids and I were able to walk to the main strip for ice cream that walk was about a 15 minute walk with two very young kids.

Thank you all staff for an enjoyable 2 day stay.
People running this Lodge are all very pleasant and helpful to deal with. One young staffer helped with our bags to the second floor when checking in and wouldn't accept a tip. Heated pool was great and clean. Place was quiet except for when people passed through the halls. Room was spacious and clean although a little dated. Overall value for what we paid was outstanding! Thank you all staff for an enjoyable 2 day stay.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Had a horrible experience at Sauble Beach Lodge. The man we dealt with has zero communication skills and was belligerent the second an issue was brought up. We were refused a refund. After trying to reason with this person, he called the owner who informed us he could give us a refund for 1 day (had booked for 2 days). He was on the computer for a few minutes then abruptly said we needed to go through Expedia to get our partial refund. Expedia tried calling to confirm and they did not answer the phone. The next day we get an email from Expedia informing us that they had talked with Sauble Beach Lodge and that they had refused the refund. After a few conversations we did receive our partial refund. Sauble Beach had dirty and unethical business practices. Don’t ruin your vacation, book somewhere else.

We stayed two nights and it was a great experience. Family run little motel in a great area. Very close to the beach and 15 minutes walk to the main area. Room was clean and updated. Front desk was very helpful in every way. Pool was clean and so were the restrooms. Will definitely be back to this place.

Our experience was great the staff were very friendly and accommodating the rooms were extremely clean and newly renovated it was very close to the beach just a 2 minute walk and it was close enough to the main strip where my young kids and I were able to walk to the main strip for ice cream that walk was about a 15 minute walk with two very young kids.

I have to admit we didn't know what to expect of a motel but this was a very pleasant surprise. The service was impeccable from the owner and staff. In fact, on our trip over the past months staying at chain hotels, we got better service and a cleaner, more quiet and comfortable stay. The staff we're great and very friendly. The cabin was clean and we could park right next to it. Very walkable to the beach and the main strip. Would recommend to friends and family. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great time. There is a pool and BBQS for guests to use. Also - fire pits! And you couldn’t be closer to the beach. :)

Affordable stay 30 seconds from Sauble Beach. Really nice outdoor pool and picnic tables to use for outdoor eating. Room is nice, bed comfy and clean sheets and towels. Good size tv also. Would recommended supplying hairdryers in rooms as a courtesy to guests. Lobby area had complementary coffee. Perhaps some second hand books for guests to peruse would be nice too. Management very friendly , check in quick and easy. Lots parking spots for guest.

Le personnel est très courtois et accueillant. Notre secteur était rénové, les chambres sont très belles et les lits confortables (ne pas se fier aux photos). Nous avons apprécié le petit frigo et le micro-ondes dans la chambre et d’avoir pu profiter des installations avant d’avoir eu accès à notre chambre. Les lieux sont très propres. Café fourni à la réception, accès à des barbecue et tables de pique-nique à l’extérieur. Plusieurs poubelles et bacs de recyclage sur les lieux. À moins de 5 minutes de marche de la plage et assez près des petites boutiques et restaurants. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel. Tout était parfait! ☀️

Stains on sheets and comforter, tv is completely useless - no working channels or apps, bad smell in the room was covered up with a bad smelling spray, bathroom lights flicker and bunch of marks and missing paint spots all over the walls. Location is good

Considering we booked a "deluxe" king room, there was really nothing deluxe about it. You can tell they have done some minor updates to the bathroom and flooring. We didn't even have soap upon arriving and had to ask the front desk for some. TV was terrible (basic cable with most channels fuzzy), not even a phone in the room or a hairdryer. No coffee or tea either. The bed was comfortable and AC was great but there were some questionable stains visible on box springs and shower curtain. Also questionable looking ceiling tiles above the bed that looked like they may collapse. Very strange layout in general, having the bed right beside the door. The door felt like it was flimsy. Expedia stated this hotel provides housekeeping everyday. We stayed for 3 nights and only received very light housekeeping on our last night - no fresh towels. The lobby had been upgraded but stairwells/hallways still covered in old carpet and very old looking. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. Access to the beach was also great. I just don't think this was worth it for $180 a night for a "deluxe" room.
