Basic little motor hotel, the kind that we like. Clean rooms with modern conveniences. Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles. Staff friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to restaurants and brewery. Lovely little town with a spectacular backdrop.

Super friendly staff checked us in. Told us about Travertine Hot Springs near by and restaurants. Clean and comfortable bed. Older building with rustic furnishings. Had fridge, Microwave, TV, coffee maker. Just what is needed. Outside had Nice sitting area in whimsical garden. One night stay but I would stay again

I stayed here on the last night of a long trip from Alaska, and it was very comfortable. This is not the Ritz. It's more like staying over at Grandma's house. But it is very clean and very comfortable. The manager is super nice and helpful. I had everything I owned in the back of my truck, and I was able to back up to the door of my room. The parking area is easy to maneuver longbed crewcab pickup, and there's a place you could park with a trailer.

We caught a couple trout and used their freezer to store the fish until we left. Also, the ice machine allowed for replenishing cooler ice. The wifi worked well also.

My husband is a fisherman and we were very pleased with the amenities for fishermen. Not only was there a convenient fish cleaning station but also a freezer to store the fish. On top of that the motel provided freezer bags and a pen to mark your bags. Very convenient and very much appreciated. Thank you!

We love this property but it is a basic old time fish camp motel. No frills, amenities in the town are marginal. Motel hosts are great. Be prepared to be self sufficient There is a barbecue but bring bring your own main, sides and condiments. Local market is screamingly expensive and way under gourmet. Bakery in town is very good but closes at 2. Just plan ahead

Bed was comfortable and water pressure good. Ice machine worked well and they offered a large freezer to store the fish we had caught. Negatives were the room really needed an overhaul. The grout was pretty bad, there were small rusty holes in the tub, paint all over the bathroom window. TV was small and not many channels included. Air conditioner worked but was incredibly loud. Staff was very nice though.

I liked our stay in an older facility that is well maintained and very clean. Very kind and courteous staff. The surrounding area is some of the most beautiful scenery on earth. The town doesn’t have a lot of services. Most everything closes up by 8 pm. All in all it was pleasant.

Small rooms with very thin walls. I heard the neighbors tv all night and morning and every call he made during the middle of the night. This was a pet friendly room so taking that into consideration but the room could have been cleaner and the outside grounds had dog poop in the gazebo & lawn area everywhere.

Disappointed with the bath area. Mold on the curtain over the window which looked terrible if you lift the curtain. Very tight around the back bed making it difficult to maneuver around it and place luggage on the rack. Two suitcases- only one rack. Coffee maker was not cleaned. I cleaned it. Coffee was terrible. Continental breakfast was poor with the exception of the juices

I personally don’t stay at motels very often, I usually stay at hotels, however for a motel it seem to be OK for a few days. Like the location and it was quiet at night. The rooms were older, but that was expected. The bathroom had a couple bars of used soap and a pubic hair, which didn’t make us feel that great. In a pinch, I would probably stay here again.

This property is older but was extremely clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfy. Parking right in front of your door. Not for the snooty people but great for regular folk that just want a nice clean place to stay that doesn't break the bank. I would definitely stay again.

For condition of room and grounds it was a lot of $$. $250 for 2 nights was a lot for this run down old motel. Room was clean enough. Towels were clean. Very small bathroom. 2 skinny flat pillows in queen bed. NOT quiet. Very thin walls. Check in was just ok. It’s a cute little town but everything was overpriced. Would not recommend or stay again.

We changed our reservation but apparently it didn’t save or update. I called the property to see about early check in and she was totally accommodating. Had to charge me the second night but that’s okay! She left our room open for us when we got in super early in the morning so we could get in for the wedding and get ready and take a little nap! Super cute property, and it’s a perfect stay for Bridgeport.

This is my kind of motel, good service, nice staff. Clean rooms, dog friendly. We let them know we might be late, so they left a note on the door of the office to let us know our room was open, and when we went to our room we had 2 keys, the bill to look over, sign and return to the office. Detailed, clear instructions and a sheet for our dog to lay on. Nice, clean room, one of the most comfortable bds I've slept on in a motel!! Will definitely return. A lot of fishing in this area, suited to the outdoor type. No frills, clean and comfortable.

Friendliest staff I’ve run into at a hotel in ages! Easy to walk to the main drag in Bridgeport and right on the road to Twin Lakes. Easy access to two gas stations as well. Would definitely stay here again should the chance come up.

We stayed overnight for a wedding. The office was closed until check in at 3pm which was inconvenient. check in time was so late for how small it was. Also office was closed for check out. Loved the sheets.

I liked our stay in an older facility that is well maintained and very clean. Very kind and courteous staff. The surrounding area is some of the most beautiful scenery on earth. The town doesn’t have a lot of services. Most everything closes up by 8 pm. All in all it was pleasant.

Basic little motor hotel, the kind that we like. Clean rooms with modern conveniences. Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles. Staff friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to restaurants and brewery. Lovely little town with a spectacular backdrop.

Very nice place in the middle of nowhere! Just what I needed an escape from society. This place is in a small and I do mean small town. I walked down the block to a place called Rhinos Bar! It was a great experience the locals are very welcoming.

Friendliest staff I’ve run into at a hotel in ages! Easy to walk to the main drag in Bridgeport and right on the road to Twin Lakes. Easy access to two gas stations as well. Would definitely stay here again should the chance come up.

The Redwood Motel is a quaint establishment. The staff was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping provided the absolute tamales I've ever had in my entire life. I'd make a trip back to have just one more tamale. The room was sizeable for our needs. A/C worked extremely well. Everyone was extremely friendly. I will be coming back.

Disappointed with the bath area. Mold on the curtain over the window which looked terrible if you lift the curtain. Very tight around the back bed making it difficult to maneuver around it and place luggage on the rack. Two suitcases- only one rack. Coffee maker was not cleaned. I cleaned it. Coffee was terrible. Continental breakfast was poor with the exception of the juices

A little "old school" vibe and seemed a little weathered, but overall a nice, clean place to stay. Friendly staff and simple but thoughtful amenities, like apple juice and pastries for the morning were well appreciated.

This felt like being in a cottage - cute Adirondacks chairs out front, screen for the door, homey furniture inside and old-fashioned good cleaning. It was not spacious, but okay and they made the most of the space. We didn't try the Aircon, but the sealing on the doors wasn't tight. We had very noisy people next-door, but that was probably bad luck. The take away breakfast was simple but okay. It was pleasant though not fancy for the going price in the area.

Chairs and tables outside of each room, with young kids screaming and adults smoking and you get the picture. The bed was comfortable, but sticky stuff and chunks of food on top of night stands and table gave out a dirty vibe. At least the loud in-the-wall AC drowned out the screaming outside. Would not stay here again.
