A lire jusqu’à la fin si vous prévoyez réserver.*** Pire expérience de mon voyage. Par chance que je restais seulement une nuit. Tache de sang sur les draps, des punaises de lits, des cockroaches dans la salle de bain, pas de serviette non plus et aucun rabais même avec ça… un 5 pour l’air climatisé malgré le inclus dans l’annonce. Allez dans les hostels ça risque d’être mieux pour le même prix.

This was just a place for us to rest our heads for a couple hours and have a nice shower. However, it’s hard to have a nice shower when there is only a hose and no hot water. The entire building, bed sheets, pillows, reek like smoke and there are cigarette burns in the sheets. We were on the sixth floor and did not trust the elevator. The building does not look like the photos online. Overall, would never recommend this place to anyone.

J’avais réservé pour 3 nuit et nous sommes restés qu’une seule nuit et c’était déjà trop. Impossible de dormir car énormément de bruit dans la rue qui était rempli de drogués qui criaient. De plus tout était sale, du pipi de chien sur un mur, des taches partout sur les draps et les toilettes sales. D’autant plus que l’hôtel est très glauque et que les camés rentrent dedans la nuit. Conclusion FUYEZ

this property is in a very poor and rough area. A young family will not feel safe. Staff are not that warm and welcoming and i particular one person. You need to be a very secure person to stay there and be committed to relating well to staff. Air con was an extra expense, towels were half the size of a regular towel. The environment around that particular part of Omonia is riddled with drug addicts that openly participate in that behaviour. If you want to rough it, have thick skin, single and have no fear of that environment that that is the place for you. Having said all that i got what i paid for. I had a bed and a bathroom, was by myself and not with family and that was ok for me. If i had my family with me, the Alma would be at the bottom of the list. As for myself it was ok

You will have to pay for Air Condition. But the receptionist told me Air Condition was not working. So it was a very hot night without much sleep as the street is noisy when the door is open. There was only two small towels in the room and no hot water. The walls were spotted with dirt. Good thing is the TV worked. Not that I used it. And the checkin was quick

Had a room on the 5th floor, door to the bathroom didn't want to close, so had to us a bench to hold the door somewhat closed, didn't have a shower curtain and anything to hold the shower head, there was a string on the wall for the shower head but if you put it in it you had a out of control shower head which was like a wild snake and water went everywhere. Not to mention that if you want air conditioner and TV you'd have to pay 5€ for one total of 10€ for both. Terrible experience..

Still in a very dodgy part off Omonia my room was newly painted and clean, but furniture/amenities were very dated/worn/broken. Worst: At 2C heating (A/C) was 5 EUR extra! Hotel looks like a prison ward. Super basic and only worth the 29 EUR I paid if on an extremely tight budget.

Hotel sporchissimo,stanza sporchissima abbiamo soggiornato per tre giorni e non hanno mai fatto pulizia mai cambiate le lenzuola per ascgiugarci dopo aver fatto la doccia abbiamo dovuto usare gli asciugamani per il viso perché altro non c'era,quelli da doccia gli ho dovuto chiedere e ci sono dovuti durare così per tre giorni,posto pessimo,staff pessimo,molto rumoroso,con un bel via vai di persone molto strane....sconsigliato al massimo....e per chi ha fatto una bella recensione di vergogni,non si dice il falso, perché anche se ci devo solo dormire ed il giorno vado a godermi la città,se permettete vorrei trovare la camera rimessa a posto e pulita come dovrebbe essere in ogni posto che si prenota.......cmq,ripeto,non andateci per nessun motivo al mondo.

Sorry to say this property is a poor hotel to have on your site and does not give the impression you are after as a reliable site. It was not a nice place. The gentleman who checked us in could not find our booking, gave us a key and herded us away. The room was basic (no problems there), smelt of smoke, wardrobe was rank, no drawers in the cabinet, and please don't let me get started on the bathroom. All in all it was dreadful and we sat on the beds (with marks on the sheets which I think were clean) whilst I went back on the app and booked a new hotel. All the time we were laughing our socks off, and commenting on how I had managed to book into the Bates Motel!

Sorry to say this property is a poor hotel to have on your site and does not give the impression you are after as a reliable site. It was not a nice place. this property is in a very poor and rough area. A young family will not feel safe. Staff are not that warm and welcoming and i particular one person. You need to be a very secure person to stay there and be committed to relating well to staff. Air con was an extra expense, towels were half the size of a regular towel. The environment around that particular part of Omonia is riddled with drug addicts that openly participate in that behaviour. If you want to rough it, have thick skin, single and have no fear of that environment that that is the place for you. Having said all that i got what i paid for. I had a bed and a bathroom, was by myself and not with family and that was ok for me. If i had my family with me, the Alma would be at the bottom of the list. As for myself it was ok

Still in a very dodgy part off Omonia my room was newly painted and clean, but furniture/amenities were very dated/worn/broken. Worst: At 2C heating (A/C) was 5 EUR extra! Hotel looks like a prison ward. Super basic and only worth the 29 EUR I paid if on an extremely tight budget.

J’avais réservé pour 3 nuit et nous sommes restés qu’une seule nuit et c’était déjà trop. Impossible de dormir car énormément de bruit dans la rue qui était rempli de drogués qui criaient. De plus tout était sale, du pipi de chien sur un mur, des taches partout sur les draps et les toilettes sales. D’autant plus que l’hôtel est très glauque et que les camés rentrent dedans la nuit. Conclusion FUYEZ

The Alma Hotel has basic facilities. Beds hard and uncomfortable, shower was only half a shower with hand held hose, pillows were poor quality, no tea or coffee facilities, no fridge. However, staff were very obliging and willing to assist with our needs. Booking through Hotel.com we were charged over double what other customers We were over charged by Hotel.s.com. This was disappointing!!

This property is not a hotel. It’s a homeless shelter. The area is not really safe. Dirty streets, junkies and homelesses sleep on the street. There are homeless people sleep in the hotel lobby too. The corridors are loaded with garbage. The rooms are terrible. The door handle fell apart, as well the door lock. I had to push th chair against the door to keep it closed. In the room, everything was extremely dirty. You can except some serious infection. Dust, stain and mold everywhere.

A clean room. Bathroom was clean but worn. On a quiet pedestrian street handy for the metro and easily walkable to the main sites. Great value for money. Excellent bakery just up the street and a superb traditional taverna close by.

This is a cheap hotel in a neighbourhood that at one point was considered unattractive, but it is very close to the interesting, central part of Athens and next to public transit stops (Omonia subway station for example). The Veneti bakery/coffee shop a block away is excellent. The room is tiny. There is no cleaning service, but it is very inexpensive. I would stay there again.
