Verona Maison

Not sure if this should more accurately be described ass a hostel. Shared bathroom with a cracked shower tray and a very slow drain meant water everywhere. Only 2 plugs to take uk adaptor were in kitchen and shower! Kitchen was available to use, but no cleaning materials and virtually all crockery and cutlery sitting dirty in dishwasher Bit difficult to get in, have to go to email. Find the link, wait for it to load then tap to open gate or door. So make sure you have a package on your phone. Nice and easy from station, not too far to walk to centre of town

This is an auto-check-in shared appartement including kitchen and salon and balcony that is quite well maintained. There are three rooms with one shared bathroom + one suite with bathroom. I have not seen staff on site other than cleaning in the day. Near train station. First experience like this, and I’m happy with it, plus price was quite cheap 👍.

Great location. Shared bathroom with other guests was a negative for us for the cost. But overall it served the purpose for proximity to train

It’s very scary because the lights sometimes worked. I thought it was going to be a shared restroom with another room well the restroom was out in the open and anyone could use it so it’s not just another room but the whole house. The decorations are outdated and there was dust in the lamps and other places you can tell they barely clean just so it looks like “new” but don’t actually deep clean. My room smelled like smoke even tho it’s strictly prohibited (I have asthma so this was an issue with me) not sure if someone in the house was doing it or neighbors.

Elevator broken and was nit fixed. Luggage have to be moved down from 4th floor.
