Place was OK. Make sure you read the check in instructions very carefully- this ain’t a hotel, there is no concierge. It’s very difficult to find as has no markings outside. Also on arrival check the boiler is switched on as ours wasn’t and as a result we had no hot water for a shower until we realised. Place is a little run down and needs some attention. Great location though!

Beautiful suite in an old building across from the cathedral. Antique furnishings and canopy bed made for a unique experience. Checkin was not easy as you need to contact 24hours in advance and they do not have a front desk. The entrance is a small unmarked door that was difficult to find without assistance. If you need parking you can use the public lot on the other side of the cathedral. Out in enough money so that the expiry time extends until the next morning. The location is fantastic as you are right in the heart of old town Zadar and have access to all the sites and great restaurants!

I liked that the place was conveniently located in the old part of Zadar. It was easy to walk to the Sea Organ and to the pier from this place. The place itself looked like it belonged in Zadar with its antique decor. Unfortunately there was an issue with AC which the host tried very hard to fix and was very apologetic when it didn't work. I would recommend this place to others especially if AC is working as its location cannot be better, walkable distance to many attractions. There is no assigned parking so if coming by car you will need to find a place to park. Overall good stay.

Utrolig flott beliggenhet og rom med fin design. Men "luxury", er det nok ikke. Litt vanskelig å finne da inngangsdøren bak bordene på uteserveringen ikke er merket. Innenfor er det en rotete mørk gang men om man våger seg opp trappen ser det straks bedre ut. All informasjon stemmer heller ikke, det finnes ingen resepsjon (og følgelig ingen safe der), ingen heis, og tilknytningen til restauranten utenfor virker ikke åpenbar. Ingen avis kom de to dagene jeg var der og det kan nok også diskuteres om det ligger "nær stranden". Men mer sentralt kan man nesten ikke bo i Zadar, og rommet fungerer bra. Dessuten bare 5 min fra stopp for flybussen.

Not suitable for people with mobility issues, which I hadn’t realized when we booked it. Room was very pretty; bed was big and it was very comfortable. Central location ideal. On the downside, lots of street noise, lumpy pillow and confusing check in process. Had to call a second time to get WiFi code and instructions on how to pay.

Scam! After messing around searching for correct location and calling and texting host with no answer, finaly found "luxury room" location by looking on maps. No signage. Bottom level of buildind bare concrete. Paint supplies. Dirty. 2nd floor. Shoes in front of a door in disarray. Booked a beautiful apartment close by.

Really nice area anf the room was very good , the entrance can be deceiving as it shares commom arrea with coffee shop and storage area but once you get up the stairs its very good clean and conveniently located rooms. We had a littke hiccup with check in we couldn't get a hold of anybody to get us the keys but once sorted the rest was smooth sailig

De luxueux cet endroit n’en a que le nom malheureusement. En effet même si la chambre est bien située dans le vieux quartier de la ville, il n’en n’est pas de même pour l’ensemble. J’ai eu la chambre numéro 3 qui se trouve au 1er étage mais celle-ci ne donne pas sur la place mais sur un jardin à l’abandon et une maison qui est en ruine. Plus calme en effet que de l’autre coté du bâtiment. Ce que l’on perd en charme d’une place à l’ancienne on le gagne en quiétude d’une vue sur un endroit à l’abandon qui est un refuge pour les chats du coin. La chambre en elle même n’est pas vilaine mais des détails font que cela gâche l’ensemble comme des prises de courant qui sont détachées de leur support, des murs où apparaissent des taches, un manque de porte manteaux, etc… voir mes photos. En bref il y a des choses à revoir pour parfaire le tout comme les finitions par exemple.

As per reservation, checkout was scheduled for 11am. At 10am, when we went out to buy breakfast, two cleaning ladies were on the stairs. We told them we would be back soon. We returned 10 minutes later and they had invaded the room, on orders from the owner (Teresa). We took photos to prove it. The apartment is well located, but noisy and the bathroom has an unbearable smell of sewage, which spreads throughout the room. I do not recommend!!

Rigtigt godt hotel - god beliggenhed, meget flot og velholdte lokaler til en fair pris. Nemt at finde og nem self check-in Det eneste minus ville være housekeeping. Vi boede der i 4 overnatninger og kun en gang var der nogle på værelset, for at skifte håndklæder. Intet andet, så vi var lidt i tvivl om hvordan det fungerede

So this isnt a hotel or an apartment. Its a bedroom with a bathroom, fridge and kettle. Which is underrated because there are so many nice places to eat nearby (plus loads of excursions) a kitchen will be a waste of money as you will not want to cook. Suited me perfectly. Really nice decoration, clean and comfortable. An extra clean was done during my stay with the towels all replenished. Wonderful location, everywhere bar the airpoort was walkable. Entrance was discretely in a alleyway next to the cathedral above a cafe and ice cream shop. A bit rustic but quite charming.

Good sized room, recently updated bathroom. Perfect location to discover the old town, 10 minutes stroll to Sea Organ, 5 minutes to one of the best sunsets the world offers.

Check-in was a bit sluggish; I got the code of the keybox only after having asked twice. Would be smoother to get the instructions in advance. The air-con has broken in the middle of my stay and it was obviously not possible to get it fixed short-term. Overall recommended if you are prepared to make small compromises.

En bref il y a des choses à revoir pour parfaire le tout comme les finitions par exemple.
De luxueux cet endroit n’en a que le nom malheureusement. En effet même si la chambre est bien située dans le vieux quartier de la ville, il n’en n’est pas de même pour l’ensemble. J’ai eu la chambre numéro 3 qui se trouve au 1er étage mais celle-ci ne donne pas sur la place mais sur un jardin à l’abandon et une maison qui est en ruine. Plus calme en effet que de l’autre coté du bâtiment. Ce que l’on perd en charme d’une place à l’ancienne on le gagne en quiétude d’une vue sur un endroit à l’abandon qui est un refuge pour les chats du coin. La chambre en elle même n’est pas vilaine mais des détails font que cela gâche l’ensemble comme des prises de courant qui sont détachées de leur support, des murs où apparaissent des taches, un manque de porte manteaux, etc… voir mes photos. En bref il y a des choses à revoir pour parfaire le tout comme les finitions par exemple.

Not suitable for people with mobility issues, which I hadn’t realized when we booked it. Room was very pretty; bed was big and it was very comfortable. Central location ideal. On the downside, lots of street noise, lumpy pillow and confusing check in process. Had to call a second time to get WiFi code and instructions on how to pay.

there was an awful smell coming from the shower when we first checked in, and the host had poor communication skills. we did not receive any of the amenities included in our stay and when i asked about this the host said she would check but then ignored us for the rest of our stay. not worth the price

Directions for check-in were not emailed until 10 minutes before the scheduled time, and it was difficult to get in touch with the host. Additionally, there was a beer bottle left in the room and an ant on our bed. However, the room itself was gorgeous, the best part of all was the location, and overall it was a great stay despite the challenging check-in process!

Excellent location, huge room, lot of style. Communication could be better as we had to wait over 40 min at the property to get the info to access the room. Except that it was great.

The host sent an email with excellent instrustructions on how to find the apartment and open the key box. The room and bed were very comfortable. We read a negative review about the shower, but we had a nice hot shower. The location is close to where the ferry from Pula arrives and the major attractions. While the bus station is walkable, it is not very convenient to the apartment. We had a wonderful stay in Zadar. It’s a lovely town to spend a few days in. The beaches are walking distance, too!

Spacious apartment on 1st floor in the very center of Zadar (Sveti Stosije sqare). You can see the cathedral from your windows and hear all the tourists on the square. Check-in was a bit sluggish; I got the code of the keybox only after having asked twice. Would be smoother to get the instructions in advance. The air-con has broken in the middle of my stay and it was obviously not possible to get it fixed short-term. Overall recommended if you are prepared to make small compromises.

There is no sign or any way of knowing where the property is, and, it feels like you are going thru a back of house service garage to enter the building. Lights didn’t work in the entry area once you have gone thru some strange doors off the street which felt dangerous. We basically had to walk thru darkness until you find stairs. Checkout said 11:00 on Travelocity site, but cleaners were there at 10:00 and berated us for not being out by 10:00. This was not a good experience. Also room smelled of mold. Rooms were generously large and interesting as one positive.

As per reservation, checkout was scheduled for 11am. At 10am, when we went out to buy breakfast, two cleaning ladies were on the stairs. We told them we would be back soon. We returned 10 minutes later and they had invaded the room, on orders from the owner (Teresa). We took photos to prove it. The apartment is well located, but noisy and the bathroom has an unbearable smell of sewage, which spreads throughout the room. I do not recommend!!

Really nice area anf the room was very good , the entrance can be deceiving as it shares commom arrea with coffee shop and storage area but once you get up the stairs its very good clean and conveniently located rooms. We had a littke hiccup with check in we couldn't get a hold of anybody to get us the keys but once sorted the rest was smooth sailig

I had a wonderful stay at this iconic location, perfect lot be in the middle of all the restaurants and shops, beach not too far away. Hotel contact was very helpful and kind, had great recommendations for food and beaches etc… I am already planning to return here next year for a longer stay. The room has so much charm and if you want an authentic Croatian experience … I’d highly recommend

Beautiful suite in an old building across from the cathedral. Antique furnishings and canopy bed made for a unique experience. Checkin was not easy as you need to contact 24hours in advance and they do not have a front desk. The entrance is a small unmarked door that was difficult to find without assistance. If you need parking you can use the public lot on the other side of the cathedral. Out in enough money so that the expiry time extends until the next morning. The location is fantastic as you are right in the heart of old town Zadar and have access to all the sites and great restaurants!

Utrolig flott beliggenhet og rom med fin design. Men "luxury", er det nok ikke. Litt vanskelig å finne da inngangsdøren bak bordene på uteserveringen ikke er merket. Innenfor er det en rotete mørk gang men om man våger seg opp trappen ser det straks bedre ut. All informasjon stemmer heller ikke, det finnes ingen resepsjon (og følgelig ingen safe der), ingen heis, og tilknytningen til restauranten utenfor virker ikke åpenbar. Ingen avis kom de to dagene jeg var der og det kan nok også diskuteres om det ligger "nær stranden". Men mer sentralt kan man nesten ikke bo i Zadar, og rommet fungerer bra. Dessuten bare 5 min fra stopp for flybussen.

So this isnt a hotel or an apartment. Its a bedroom with a bathroom, fridge and kettle. Which is underrated because there are so many nice places to eat nearby (plus loads of excursions) a kitchen will be a waste of money as you will not want to cook. Suited me perfectly. Really nice decoration, clean and comfortable. An extra clean was done during my stay with the towels all replenished. Wonderful location, everywhere bar the airpoort was walkable. Entrance was discretely in a alleyway next to the cathedral above a cafe and ice cream shop. A bit rustic but quite charming.

There is no secure access to the rooms, access is via a constantly opened door off the street with no CCTV. I would not describe the room as luxury, there was a hole in the wall in the bathroom, no tea/coffee, hair dryer, or shower gel etc, was provided. The towels were thin and had stains on them. You couldn’t hear outside noise from the room we stayed in, room 3, however the noise of others going up and down the internal stairs is very loud. It was fine for a couple of nights where we didn’t spend much time in the room but they are not as described and not overly secure.
There is no secure access to the rooms, access is via a constantly opened door off the street with no CCTV. I would not describe the room as luxury, there was a hole in the wall in the bathroom, no tea/coffee, hair dryer, or shower gel etc, was provided. The towels were thin and had stains on them. You couldn’t hear outside noise from the room we stayed in, room 3, however the noise of others going up and down the internal stairs is very loud. It was fine for a couple of nights where we didn’t spend much time in the room but they are not as described and not overly secure.

The sheet on the bed was filled with sand. Makes me wonder if it even was changed from the last guest? Very disgusting. The sink in the bathroom was loose. The WiFi was not working. And no answer from the host. The location was good though.

The entrance to the apartment looks like it’s in disrepair n is in the process of being renovated. It was quite off putting. The apartment itself was very tastefully done n very roomy n comfortable. There is no wifi. There is no lift so getting luggage upstairs is not easy. You need to check messages before arriving so you know the code to the lockbox for your room. It is in a great location.

Located right in the heart of downtown, perfect walking distance to anywhere. Contacted the property ahead of time and notified them of our expected arrival time and received easy and clear instructions to our room. Very easy for 24 hours in Zadar. Highly recommend
