Holiday Inn Salina by IHG

Room was nice and clean. Property was unkempt .

The room was clean. Upon check-in and check-out there was no one at the front desk, had to wait for someone to show up.

Paying separate for breakfast is a bit ridiculous

I checked in on Friday and the bed squeaked so loudly it was insane. I was moved to another room and it was fine until we tried to shower the next day. The shower would not turn on. I was told maintenance would be in at 230 and would look at it. I called the front desk about 5 pm to check on the status of the maintenance person. The front desk went and found the maintenance and advised me that he was “too busy” to look at the shows and would have to move AGAIN to another room. Three rooms for a two night stay! When I asked for a refund I was advised that I would need to talk to the manager and she was not in on the weekend. I have stayed at this hotel before and never had any problems which is why I came back. Not sure I would ever stay here again!

Very good accommodations. Loved the walk in shower.
