#04 Black Sand Beach Condo

Small complex (for now) easy access, close parking, nice pool area with grills and hot tub, beautiful view of ocean, short walk to a black sand beach with turquoises sunning, half hour from volcano national park. Loved it.

Room was a bit smaller than expected with kitchenette, no AC so very hot at night. Mattress was a bit mushy and roof over patio leaked onto the table when it rained. Not much privacy since you can hear all neighbors. Very picturesque but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

if you're looking for a quite place to stay, this is the place. It's pretty remote here. The nearest town is 10 minutes away. The lanai has a view of the ocean. The place itself was clean. Kitchen had the basics for cooking. Also had plastic wrap and plastic bags. There was even some pancake mix. Bed was pretty soft. I don't think the mattress was old, but if you're wanting a firm mattress, you'll be disappointed. Overall felt pretty roomy for a studio. Screen to the lanai door was ripped a little, porch light was burnt out are my only complaints.

Beautiful setting! The quiet and isolation is exactly what I needed. Absolutely recommend!!

Very quiet, amazing views, great pool and hot tub. Easy drive to Volcano National Park, 40 minutes. Walking distance to palulala Black sand beach.
