Good value apartment complex centrally located between Southbank, CBD and Docklands within walking distance of Southern Cross station and Skybus link. Noisy area due to location but great if no vehicle. Good after hours food options nearby. Pool and spa unavailable and not known until arrival so check direct if a desired feature. Gym was still available but construction access affected.

Staff helpful, lift fast. Not plush, but comfortable enough and a really practical option for a family given the good location, second bedroom with twin beds in some rooms, washing machine, kitchen etc. Swimming pool useable for laps, hot tub basic but better than nothing, sauna decent.

1 BR apt was nice, big enough! Helpful and polite staff at check-in and throughout stay - advised the room overlooking the alley would be quieter! This may be true, however was still quite loud from around 3 am and on, with bin trucks/trains etc and other things happening - part of staying in the 'big smoke' I guess :). Kitchen was functional, just needed a few more utensils - staff couldn't source a spatula but found us an oven tray (a dirty one), so thanks. The simple things are needed for a long term stay when cooking at home, so a few more additions would be useful. Bathroom good, shower warm and good pressure. Spa nice, however tiles need to be fixed - I wasn't fussed that it looked degraded but sharp edges from broken/missing tiles need to be fixed. My son scratched his back and another lad cut his foot. Close to transport and lots of food places, short walk to a Coles and Woolies. Anyway, overall a good stay in a good location, loved visiting Melbs after a long time away

The staff at check-in was helpful and at all other times listened carefully to our requests. The entrance to the hotel is quite inviting and functional. The room was really clean and had all the cooking and washing facilities needed. I enjoyed using the pool for laps and the pool area was quite clean. The gym looked quite spacious and functional though I did not use it. The only other comment is that the railway noise was quite obtrusive into the room. I would recommend double glazing especially to our room on the southern side of the building.

Kitchen not fully equipped for cooking. No baking tray. Pool was very cold - too cold for a toddler (despite it being indoor). Having said that, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the apartment otherwise had everything required for a short stay. It’s just an older apartment/building.

The property is in a great location, close to transport, activities and grocery shops. The staff were excellent, professional, friendly and responded to requests quickly. However, some aspects of maintenance were very poor. There was no toilet brush, we had to request another bath plug because it was old and leaking. We didnt get a bath mat or face washers and had to request them. The iron didnt work, we were given another one. The ironing board was broken, my partner fixed it. When we turned iron on, it worked for 5 minutes and then the circuit breaker switched power off. This happened every time we had to iron something. One light in the bedroom was faulty and fluttering on and off very quickly. The swimming pool is in a bad way. Many tiles have come off and it would be easy to receive a cut from the edges. Despite these issues, it was a nice place, convenient, great staff, comfortable bed, great facility of kitchenette and laundry.

The studio room was very clean. The kitchenette was perfect for my 5 night stay. The property was well located between the Southern Cross and Flinders train stations. The free tram to the Australian Open was just a 2 minute walk.

Wet carpet after cleaning staff left the balcony doors open, carpet had crumbs on floor in bedroom, toilet bowl not cleaned properly, fridge smelled and had dried drops from a drink, the tv in the bedroom didn’t work and the noise from the trains was loud.

The one bedroom apartment was very roomy . It had everything in it you needed and of high standard . Very comfy bed It was however quite noisy owing to the proximity of the train line. It was very handy to tram network and Southern cross station . Staff were welcoming .

I stayed here for 4 nights with work. The one bedroom apartment was a great size and very comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. My main reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 was how incredibly noisy it was at night. The street noise was so bad I had to sleep with ear plugs in and even then it was super noisy still. The windows need double glazing. The other small reasons for losing a star were that the phone didn’t work so I couldn’t get wake up calls, some of the lights were a bit dodgy and there were too few hangers for a 5 day work trip. Also the location isn’t ideal for main cbd access so I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

loved this apartment.. but we booked it because it said balcony making a bit more in priced but disappointed it was the width of an adult leg literally. Bathroom was immaculate (but shower no power )

The staff are friendly and welcoming with easy check in, the lobby is warming with the fireplace. tram stop out front, 5 mins to CBD. Eateries and grocery shops close. The room was worth the price, very well appointed with all the kitchen appliances and utensils, dishwasher, washing and drying machines. the beds were comfy and the black out curtains welcomed. The stars lost to; The trains would vibrate the room and you could hear the rumble. The shower had no pressure and would reduce to a dripping tap As with most properties, you need to request a sink plug. I enjoyed my stay here.

The location is just perfect for me to attend the conference at Crown hotel. 5 mins walk to Crowns, 7 mins to Southern Cross station. The room is specious, clean and comfortable. The only downside is the hot water flow is not strong enough.

This property would get a better rating if the issues with the hot water had been fixed in a timely manner. Basically no hot water for 4 of the 6 nights. External noise from the trains across the street is considerable so if a light sleeper, avoid this property. room is generally comfortable (disregarding the hot water issue) and spacious.

I was put in room 810. The noise of the ducting system on the roof outside the apartment was loud, constant and kept me awake all night. I only booked accommodation with the purpose for a place to sleep. I had no sleep. Fail.

I had a 5 night stay for business and the staff were really lovely, helpful and accommodating for my business needs the entire stay. Rooms are big, clean and everything you need for a longer stay.

The staff was nice. The hotel lobby is nice, but the rest of the facilities need a bit of a facelift. The pool area is nowhere nice as the photos. The drainage in my room’s bathroom seemed to be backed up in the shower and the sink which led to little tiny gnats near the drains. Also, at check-in no one was at the desk and I called the phone number on the sign at the desk and it did not work. Reception should have the number exactly as it needs to be dialed for international travelers. Finally, when I was able to check-in the reception worker informed me that a man had just walked into the lobby and had a seat on the couches and that he was homeless so she would need to ask him to leave. This didn’t make me feel safe or secure in the hotel and this was immediately upon my arrival.

We travel for work regularly as a group. Never, have we been greeted with such kindness, pleasantries, willingness to assist and help as we did at Brady Apartments. Staff were faultless. Every single time we attended reception or came in or out. Room was great. Well set out, well maintained. Everything was faultless. Won’t stay anywhere else when we are in Melbourne.

We travel for work regularly as a group. Never, have we been greeted with such kindness, pleasantries, willingness to assist and help as we did at Brady Apartments. Staff were faultless. Every single time we attended reception or came in or out. Room was great. Well set out, well maintained. Everything was faultless. Won’t stay anywhere else when we are in Melbourne.

Renee at reception was lovely However a company policy to charge $50 for an early check in is offensive. I didn’t need the room early as I had appointments all day. But the principal of charging additional for a room that may or may not be already available certainly does not add value to the customer experience. For reference when I did check in after 9pm there was a 15min wait as a group turned up.

Renee at reception was lovely However a company policy to charge $50 for an early check in is offensive. I didn’t need the room early as I had appointments all day. But the principal of charging additional for a room that may or may not be already available certainly does not add value to the customer experience. For reference when I did check in after 9pm there was a 15min wait as a group turned up.

During our stay, there was a water pipe that has burst. My partner and I made it back to our room, which had water all through the bathroom. as soon as we mentioned something at reception, it took them no longer than 10 to 15 minutes to get us sorted into another room. We know that the water pipe bursting was not the hotels fault but they got everything sorted nice and quickly for us so we had a comfortable stay!

We received an upgrade to a one bedroom apartment which was perfect for our overnight stay. We love staying at Brady Apartments, everything was great, the staff were very friendly and the unit was clean with everything provided for our stay.

The staff at check-in was helpful and at all other times listened carefully to our requests. The entrance to the hotel is quite inviting and functional. The room was really clean and had all the cooking and washing facilities needed. I enjoyed using the pool for laps and the pool area was quite clean. The gym looked quite spacious and functional though I did not use it. The only other comment is that the railway noise was quite obtrusive into the room. I would recommend double glazing especially to our room on the southern side of the building.

The studio room was very clean. The kitchenette was perfect for my 5 night stay. The property was well located between the Southern Cross and Flinders train stations. The free tram to the Australian Open was just a 2 minute walk.

The location is just perfect for me to attend the conference at Crown hotel. 5 mins walk to Crowns, 7 mins to Southern Cross station. The room is specious, clean and comfortable. The only downside is the hot water flow is not strong enough.

We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was very spacious! The area around is very convenient. Walkable to many great restaurants and shops, plus the free trams in CBD. Staff service was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Excellent bed, very comfortable. All of the staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. Matt at the front desk was amazing! There was some noise from outside, mainly the sound of passing trains. The hotel is very close to transport, Southbank, Skybus, coffee shops and has easy access to all places of interest. The only downside is the area around the hotel is a bit dirty and there are quite a few homeless people but we never felt unsafe in any way. Based on our experience we would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a great apartment hotel. It is a one bedroom that you can shut off from the main lounge. Everything is super clean. It has a small kitchen with utensils for cooking. Heaps of takeaway food options around and also a Woolworths and Coles supermarket not far away. Free Tram stop just outside the door on Flinders street to get you easily to anywhere. Loved my two night stay.

This apartment hotel is right on Flinders street less than 0.5 km from the Southern Cross station. There are quite a few restaurants and shops closeby. The river is also closeby which has a beautiful walking / running trail as well as excellent choices of restaurants. They have a washer / drier in the room and they have a good collection of kitchenette as well. I did a late check-in and the staff at the reception were very helpful. The tram station is right outside the hotels, so commuting around the city is pretty convenient. Flinders street station is also less than a km away.

A great location, only a couple of blocks from both the Aquarium, and the River Walk with its cafes and bars. Transportation to other parts of the city via access to trams which are located on Flinders Street in front of the hotel. Room was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed.

Regional visitor travelling down to attend football games. Great place to stay. Friendly helpful staff. Minutes walking from Southern Cross station. Tram stop out front to take you to the MCG Marvel Stadium short walk up the hill next to the SC station. I recommend a train back to SC station after games unless you enjoy a walk. Great little Japanese restaurant just across the road. Every stay has been great value for money.

We enjoyed our stay especially because of the location which is very near the tram and bus station. Coffee shops and convenience stores are just around the corner and restaurants are walking distance. Area is relatively quiet and easy to find.

Great choice for a Melbourne CBD Hotel within Free Tram Zone. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Has convenience stores and bottle shop within 100m. Nearby coffee and breakfast options on Flinders Lane, and they are delicious and reasonably priced. Two Tram stops are convenient as well and easy access to Train stations. Downside is that it’s in a noisy, business precinct (elevated trains nearby) and a little filthy on street/lanes as compared to more Easterly CBD areas. The price is right, however, and for a traveller on multi week trip, in room laundry and kitchenette is fantastic. Don’t waste any upgrades for balcony; you won’t find yourself using it due to precinct and office tower shadow.

Property is close proximity to Southern Cross railway station which is ideal for regional travellers. Tram stop right out the front. Casino across the river with dining options. Breakfast options were very limited unless you are willing to walk some distance. Despite the Metro trains being outside, the room was very quiet and very spacious. Pillows are always an issue, but you make do with what's supplied.

We arrived 1.30am NZ time so we were both extremely tired. On arriving in our "worst room" in the hotel, we both got no sleep as we were unaware that the railway network, all of them were right outside our window. This room has no sound proofing!! The next morning my husband rang down to reception. We were met with lovely Nora, who went out of her way to accommodate us as we were booked in for 9 nights. Sam........... you would have been well aware of the noise levels in that room. When I asked you why you would place us in this room, your answer was basically " what was the problem" Then shrugged & went back to your computer. Not good enough when we were staying nine nights. If it hadn't been for the lovely girls, this would have been a disaster of a business trip. Overall, the room was good. With full laundry & kitchen with dishwasher. Though we could have had more dishes cutlery utensils etc. Location was spot on. And the air-conditioning worked in both rooms quietly, unlike this 1st room we were in.

Check in was easy. Room and bathrooms were clean with complete amenities in the kitchen and laundry areas. Beds are very comfortable, same with dining and living room areas. I have stayed in Brady at Flinders four times now and i love how easy access it is from the southern cross station (bus from the airport) to the tram which is 2 minutes away. Southbank is just 2 blocks away and a lot of convenience stores around and great coffee shops and restaurants nearby but very accessible to get to the heart of the city. I highly recommend this hotel definitely.

Have stayed at this Brady Motel before great location and excellent staff. Everything we needed and close to trams and short tram trip to trains. First day bed wasn't made but next 2 days it was. Refill of toiletries and coffee/tea daily was excellent. Plenty of glasses, crockery and dish washing items too. Spa a bit disappointing wasn't very warm as cold water from the pool laps into it. Too cold for a swim. Great that pool area is open until 10pm too. Asked for late checkout as our flight was later in the day and was given it no problems.
