Arvada Private Family Home with Two King Beds

This is a great little spot, with incredibly friendly, welcoming hosts! Willing to do just about anything to make your stay comfortable, but NOT nosy or ever appearing during your stay - one of the best features of booking with Vrbo, ha! Very pet friendly! It's a gorgeous place that's very tastefully decorated with modern amenities. Comfy beds, lots of linens & towels. Our two fur-babies absolutely loved the yard! It's very large! A word of caution, however, the fence is chainlink & needs some work to make it a more secure for doggos. Extra caution if your pup is a digger, as the yard is all gravely. A couple of reviews mentioned that the place was not clean... I guess they have 87 Roombas running nonstop in their homes haha I've cleaned professionally in a past life, & I know what to REALLY look for: toilet seat hinges, run a finger on the top of the closet doorframe for dust, or simply look under beds. It's pristine! The review complaining about the corners of the baseboards?? Those are scuff marks from the vacuum cleaner, or the mop. It's very clean. My only 'negative' thing to note? You sleep 8 people, sure. But you're sleeping as couples, & 2 go to the sofa bed, 2 on the air mattress, & one bathroom. One bathroom. I wouldn't haha It's very easy to access I-70, but also just as easy to get around Arvada's abundant shops, restaurants, activities, etc. DoorDash & such are also available. We'll be back often, as our eldest daughter just moved to the area. Thank you!

The host is very friendly and communicative! We did not love the parking situation. And the house is right off of a busy road where you can clearly hear all the cars and trucks passing by.

We wanted to stay in a private residence when in town for my Dad's funeral. This property was reasonably priced for two people as most of the places slept entire huge families. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great hot water! The location was great as Santiago's and Ziggie's Coffee were about a one minute drive away. It was awesome to be able to do laundry and to have a dishwasher.Even though the listing says you can use the garage, we were told to park in the driveway or the gravel so that was a disappointment. You don't get entrance instructions until straight up 4:00pm. The accessories around the home could stand to be replaced. Throw pillows and bed throws had holes in them as if chewed on by a dog. The tile floor was clean of dust, but it could use a good scrubbing. We would stay again as none of these things were a deal breaker for us.

Surface clean, but corners of rooms, baseboards quite dirty. Crevices of oven top (sides) covered with crumbs, keurig machine was calling for descale and when run for hot water it was brown! Oven was really gross and we decided not to use it cause the racks had so much grease on them. There was mouse poop on the pull out couch mattress and the air mattress deflated shortly after bedtime…our first night was quite terrible. The owner replaced the air mattress and cleaned the mouse droppings (though none of us really wanted to open the couch back up to double check)Quiet neighborhood, great access to all amenities, especially ball fields, Walmart and basic fast food places. Easy access to highway.
