Hotel 81 Tristar

Med tanke på vad hotellrum kostar i S, är detta ett bra alternativ. Ingen hög standard,ligger lite ocentralt, lite slitet osv. Är du medveten om att du får vad du betalar för och då är detta ett jättebra val.

Good aircon, clean but old room

Hotel was in a lovely area with good food courts nearby, easy transport via the MRT or Grab taxi. The room was big and spacious. Unfortunately, it was in poor repair. The curtain linings were town, the bath was very scratched to the point it was stained and the fridge rattled a lot (until I 'MacGyvered' 2 wooden stirrers to stop the shelf from rattling 😉). Night staff were incredibly noisy cleaning at 1am to the point I went out to ask them to be quiet. A bit ironic, as there are signs asking guests to be quiet between 10pm and 7am. I didn't ask to be moved room, as my travel companions were not disturbed by it all and I didnt want to be moved too far away from them.
