Tidal Reach Dunhallin

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Tidal Reach. This rental was impeccably clean, with beautiful views of loch bay. We loved the vast windows that let in light, and the deck where we enjoyed many sunsets. We stayed for 7 nights and were sad to leave this oasis. The accommodations were lovely. The kitchen was easy to cook and clean in with new appliances. There was ample space to sit and read, or relax with a tv show. We highly recommend this rental for your next stay on Skye! We extend our thanks to the owners, and management company for making our visit so memorable.

Beautiful, remote home in Skye. Near a wonderful restaurant, The Stein Inn, near beautiful hikes, and overall very cozy. Would not hesitate to recommend( however would warn that the kitchen utensils and implements are quite sparse so choose your groceries wisely.

This is a beautiful rental!!!!! Right on the coast with a gorgeous west view. The first night we had winds of 70-80mph and, you could definitely hear them, the unit was solid and sound. Everything you need to start a fire is ready and available. They deliver more wood periodically. It’s a great spot to experience the Isle of Skye with the ruggedness of the land.

All in all, a beautiful place to stay, but some basic kitchen amenities missing and the master bed mattress could use an update

Absolutely amazing view and beautiful property so had a wonderful stay. The 2 individual bedrooms with en suites were lovely and very clean and well prepared. As Americans with very different appliances and heating at home, we really could’ve used a guidebook for how to run the dishwasher and washer/ dryer, etc. Perhaps a notebook with individual pages on the basics of the appliances as we have had at other rental properties. Called into the service First evening of our stay about minor repairs and they had someone there the next morning who quickly fixed the issue and was kind enough to give us tips on local sights to see. Would love to go back someday.

Beautiful view from the front deck/porch, extraordinarily clean, laundry room is outstanding, the video guides were great & helpful and the bottle of wine to welcome us was a nice touch. The open common area was awesome with the family for cooking, relaxing and game night.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. This house was the perfect getaway for our trip - two adult couples touring the country. Very remote, this coastal house was so easy to use. The hosts had a very helpful video system to guide us on house use. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for making our vacation a wonderful experience!

Simply perfect. The view. The equipment. One of the highlights for me is the tablet with the instruction videos for the house. There's nothing to complain about (maybe a good spatula for the pans :-) )

This cottage was incredible! With the Outer Hebrides Islands visible in the distance, it is located on a hillside near the village of Hallin in Waternish and overlooks a beautiful bay that is connected to Loch Dunvegan and the North Atlantic. The setting is picture postcard perfect! On the outside, the cottage was built stylistically to fit in with the traditional whitewashed Scottish cottages that you see frequently in Scotland. On the inside, it was very modern and welcoming. Large windows and sliding glass doors faced the ocean allowing us to take in the beautiful vista in the comfort of the living space. While modern in style, the cottage was not cold or sterile in its décor. In fact, we found it to be very warm, inviting, and comfortable. After our daily excursions on Skye, we thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the cottage to unwind. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bathrooms are modern, and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The fact it is about 8 miles off the main road (A850), you get very little traffic on the one-track road in front of the cottage and basically no ambient light. If location is everything, we can testify whole-heartedly that this cottage delivers 110% on that measure. While not located in the middle of Skye, we felt the cottage was a great home base for exploring the magnificent beauty of Skye yet still allowing us peace and solitude in a beautiful scenic setting. If you are planning a visit to Skye, this cottage is the place to be!

Fantastic place, amazing location and views. The place inside is superb and the pictures don’t do it justice. Beds comfy, lots of nice touches in the house and everything clean and in good condition. 30 min walk to the Stein Inn and Loch Bay restaurants. Would stay again.

I had trouble finding the property but with amazing customer service it was quickly solved. Beautiful property, well maintained and with great amenities. Would highly recommend this property.

Once we were able to find the house and find the code to get into the house it was fantastic. The view was beyond measure. Loved the house. The owner needs to list the correct address on the Vrbo site and send the check in process to the travelers. We spent 3 hours trying to locate the property and trying to call the owner. The owner sent no Check in email or list on the site. Extremely frustrating.

This was everything we were hoping for and more for a picturesque stay on the Isle of Skye. I only wish we had stayed longer, there is so much to see and do very close by. We day tripped to the Fairie Glen, Old Man of Storr, Coral Beach, and Dunvegan castle. The house is immaculate and super comfortable, and the staff all went above and beyond communicating and helping us figure everything out, especially Kat! Definitely take their recommendations for places to eat in Portree - best meals of our entire trip. Will definitely try and stay here again when we venture back to these mystical Highlands!

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft die seiner Beschreibung gerecht wird. Helle Räume, warme Atmosphäre und ein traumhafter Ausblick. Warm und wohnlich. Kaminholz vorhanden. Bei Fragen an die Vermietungsagentur gab es eine sehr schnelle Reaktion und Problemlösung. Wir habe jeden Moment genossen.

Tidal Reach is a sensational home on the Waternish Peninsula. Gorgeous views and perfectly located near the Stein Inn and LochBay Restaurant. Not far from Dunvegan. Great walks and views.

This was a fantastic place to stay if you want to be off the beaten path, but still plenty close for hikes & provisions. So quiet & peaceful, the view is stunning & never got old. We loved coffee in the morning watching the windows & a dram by the fire to unwind at night. Best shower after you’ve hiked in the rain & fog, too.

The property is located away from artificial light which ensure a wonderful night sky! Its luxury features made our stay fantastic and unforgettable! Highly recommended.

Location: quiet and great views. The place: clean, tidy, put together with sensitive taste and great spec. Go there again: 100% yes please. Only recommendation: please add a sign with the place name/number down at the bottom of the drive to make it slightly easier to find it at night. it was three of us and every single one of us would stay in the same place again without a shadow of doubt.
