Baymont by Wyndham Laredo

I didn't like that 1 elevator is working, 2d is is out of service, i had to use stairs to 4th floor,which was inconvenient, the only thing i didn't like.

Old rooms. Old hotel….. pavement os poor around parkinglot and entrance etccc . Do not recommend.

Staff was great. Allowed me to sleep an extra 30 minutes after working 16 hours and having to work another 16 hours the last day of staying. Just wish there was more parking.

Laundry was unavailable, very inconvenient.

it looks like there was an effort to remodel the rooms but you can tell it was done so poorly it is already falling apart. The carpet on the corridors was never cleaned, nor the elevators.

The elevator didn't work,and room was on a 6th floor

Parking lot needs to be redone

No parking space. Seems like they share parking lot with a casino next door. I had to park in a handicap risking to get cited.

Terrible elevator. I was at 6th floor and elevator took 12 minutes to arrive.

The parking, all the parking lot is for 18wheelers and construction company there's not enough parking for the hotel guest. Need more parking

Roaches in bathroom, random hairs found in sheets.

We checked into our room and I went to hang up my jacket and there was a crack pipe with some crack in it setting on the self. Throughout the night we killed 5 cockroaches. The internet on the fourth floor did not work at all. When we went down for breakfast there was no room. It had room for 20-25 people and that was it. I expected more out of a Baymont hotel.

Room smelling bad, mirrors dirty, floor dirty, bed without a cover sheet etc

The property is conveniently located and the rooms have new furnishings but that is of no value if the facility and rooms are not clean. The lobby, hallways, and elevator had mud and dirt clods tracked in, the elevators had mud, sand, and some oily liquid on the floors. My room had debris/fuzz in the corners and hair on the floor and in the bed. The floors were so dirty that the bottom of my socks got brown. There was also ants climbing the wall and a roach in the bathroom. On top of all of that, there is a sliding window that would not close and latch so traffic noise from the interstate was constant. I called the desk and complained only to be told that no refunds were offered. I will never stay in this hotel again and will avoid all Baymont properties due to the poor standards at this one.

Roaches as soon as we entered the room

This place is not clean! Please don’t go there. There was roaches in our room. Housekeeping never came to even pick up the trash from our room or even changed our sheets on the bed! Never again going here.

The room had very visible mold, the sheets were dirty and the customer service was dry.

Hotel is too old need to be renewed. Sheet beds smells like weren't washed and with stains on it

The room was full of cockroaches, I took photos and showed them to the hotel manager. We left the room immediately and I demanded a refund. I'm still waiting.

The water pressure in our room was not good at all. Very little bit of water coming out from shower

Place is pretty run down.... needs quite a bit of upgrades.. The mattress in room #406 is horrible. Needs to be replaced...

The pictures online look better than what u actually walk into. Very small rooms, floors are not installed right. As u go in from the back to the main elevators there is no air conditioning and it feels hotter than being outside. The pool is not as it is pictured. We did not get room service, we had to ask for the trash to be picked up the night before we checked out. The wifi there is terrible. Their breakfast is very limited but for waffles. We moved the next day to a different hotel.

I didn't like that shower is horrible, no pressure, second thing 5th floor,it was hot in a room even the a/c was on

The receptionists were friendly and efficient. The rooms were ok for being a budget hotel. The bathroom was good, but the baths look old. The breakfast was fine but the guy overseeing it looked annoyed. I think if the hallways were updated, the place as a whole would feel much better.

Hotel conditions are poor, door locks very old. Our room was not very clean, floor with stains. The remote control didnt work. Wifi unstable. At breakfast there werent coffee cups, nor spoons. Not enough space to sit. Photos shown dont latch reality The price is low -$100usd rate

Had to change rooms. The first one was not ready for use. Staff was very helpful and admitted that it was their fault.

The pillows really need to be changed I had to go buy pillows to be comfortable they are so old they can't even be called pillows now it's just loose cotton. The staff some of the ladies are just very rude.the elevators don't work.

Over all worst experience for my family we have ever had at a hotel. First we booked at the Baymont (upper floors) $80/night vs. the Super 8 (lower floors) $68/night for 3 nights because the website showed for the more expensive rooms you get a mini fridge and microwave. After speaking with the desk about the differences we learned all the rooms have the same amenities. The only difference is you have access to a meeting room which you need to reserve. She would not allow us to rebook in the cheaper rooms stating they are a under a different contract. We then lost power to the t.v., Mini fridge, and half the room lights so when we spoke with the desk about the issue she stated it was a breaker and they were looking into it. Eventually, they did resolve the issue so we went to dinner and upon return to the room we found a bedbug and took it to the desk to make them aware and they were not accommodating at all. Did not offer us a different room or any solution to the experience we had so we turned in our keys and left requiring us to rent another room at a different hotel. The employee stated she cannot get in touch with a manager till the next day and gave us the phone number to call her the next morning. We came back the day and the manager was there and told us she was listening to us talk to the employee from behind the door the night before and she refused to refund our money stating we were offed another room which is a complete lie. Very rude to us, not even an apology

Super clean, they renovated the hotel and even though they still fixing some things, the overall was perfect, staff were super helpful and the check in and check out super fast, dinning options right across the street and the noise from the freeway doesn't bother at all

This is a good basic stay. I arrived late at night, was greeted by the clerk and efficiently checked into the room. It was very basic, had to turn on the ac unit, the bed was clean, the room clean, but overall the room was a 3 star at best room. The hotel is older, needs attention, was noisy from the street noise. The breakfast was the standard waffles, cereal, and muffins. I will go back again if I need a quick no frills stay.

NICE PLACE, NEAR HWY 35, GOOD PRICE

It is necessary to expand the breakfast area. And improve your fumigation service.

Hotel was in need of some renovations. Lamp shades had some odd spots. Bath tub was peeling. Toilet paper dispenser was loose on one end. It seemed like the drywall behind the wallpaper had broken. Check in and out was convenient. Breakfast options were limited.

Everything was ok....service, it was clean, people were kind, reasonable price, just the breakfast area is too small.

The lobby floor was completely filthy full of mud. No ironing board or iron, room smelled moldy. Next morning went down around 5:50 to get coffee and while I pouring my coffee I turned and stared at the waffle machine. Breakfast lady almost threw herself to tell me “bar is open at 6 am” . I could honestly A. Not care for breakfast B . I did not even TOUCH any of the waffle makers C. If I did… is it really a problem if take somebody else from the breakfast bar besides coffee when you have < 5 mins for the “official breakfast time. I am sorry that is just ridiculous.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can tell that the hotel has had some updates but walls, windows, room doors, and elevators still haven't been updated. There was mold on the ceiling and window frames in our room but the room was clean at check in. We had access to all typical amenities of a hotel at a lower scale in quality which we were okay with. The breakfast was decent with your typical continental breakfast items however they ran out quickly and it wasn't replenished for guests who joined later during breakfast hours. Guests seemed to be construction workers, truck drivers, so it's not a family in vacation oriented hotel. It was still a comfortable stay.
