Decent motel off a main road but yet quiet. Drove right by it the first time and since the frontage is a one way, had to loop back around. You get an assigned parking right next to your door which is nice. Soft bed. Stocked with mini fridge, iron, hair dryer.

The motel is a little out of town, but I was passing through so I loved being off the main road as it was relaxing and quiet. The unit was impeccably clean*! It looks to have been built about 1990 and the fixtures and furnishings look as pristine as they were brand new. The shower and bathroom really great, roomy and laid out more like a villa unit - I felt like I was at home. I arrived late and took some head scratching to work out their instructions. But in retrospect they were comprehensive, it's just one of the house maids saw me and was extremely friendly to help me to the unit. I also noted one little thing that as the place was not full, they'd taken care to leave empty units between the occupied ones. Rare commonsense that's much appreciated. *Impeccably clean all except that everything above my head was sorely in need of dusting and cobweb removal. I'd just suggest the cleaners look up from time to time and that would make it perfect.

Our room was large (probably double the size of hotel rooms in Melbourne CBD). There even was room for a lounge and small dining table and chairs. Somewhat dated but quality construction and well maintained. Reasonably quiet - only occasional train noise. Easy access to / from Melbourne. Short walk to an IGA supermarket. My only criticism is the lighting in the room and bathroom could have been brighter / better located.

Was great easy place to get to. Initially I thought super quiet, but I can say no road noise only noise is from neighbouring rooms, not super loud, but very noticeable when your room is quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Definitely will keep this in mind if my son has another basketball tournament up that way.

Friendly staff, spacious room that were clean and comfortable. Usually when checking into a room, the air con or heater (depending on climate) are already switched on for the guests comfort. Not only was the heater not switched on, the windows were all open. Ballarat is one of the coldest places in Victoria, so the room was freezing. Despite cranking the heater and turning all electric blankets on, we were all cold all night. Would recommend the place, but just ask them to switch the heather on!

Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Very clear on contacting them if any issues. We had one small issue we couldn't work out and they went above and beyond to resolve it quickly and successfully. Thank you to Fisher and his partner - amazing. We will be back. :)

Great sized room and large sized car parks!! Nice and clean place to stay, very impressed. Negatives - A little noisy through the motel room walls sadly and not much hospitality at reception. Cleaners began vacuuming loudly well before departure time. Feel sorry for anyone who wanted a bit of extra sleep.

Purtroppo sono arrivato alle due di notte dopo un viaggio in macchina di oltre otto ore...ero consapevole che l'hotel non aveva una reception aperta h24, ma quando ho avuto la possibilità di guardare la mia posta, con sorpresa invece di ricevere il codice della cassetta per fare un self check-in mi sono trovato un messaggio in cui mi si chiedeva l'orario d'arrivo e mi si comunicava che la reception chiudeva alle 20:30! Invano ho trentato di chiamare il numero del servizio notturno....dopo aver capito che non potevo accedere alla struttura, ho deciso di proseguire il viaggio a Melbourne arrivando in un alloggio alternativo alle 4:30 del mattino. Non chiedo alcun danno in merito, mi aspetto però che Expidia possa rimborsarmi del servizio non goduto.

Although we arrived late (almost 10 pm) the host had stayed up to welcome us and he did so very warmly. He gave us nearby breakfast options and we felt very welcome. The motel felt very safe, was quiet and very clean. Thoroughly recommend it.

The room and bed were very comfortable, spacious and clean. Staff very pleasant. Only a short drive to the city centre of Ballarat. I feel the warning page in the book is a little officious, re extend visitor time out - warning or out, departure in morning if late, penalty fee, or really late full day fee. I think most people are happy to accommodate the rules. Having said that, I enjoyed this, my 2nd stay and the room situated at back away from road is nice and quiet unless you have a heavy snorer in the adjoining room haha.

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Forge pizza, as recommended by the reception staff, which was a short walk up the road and next to an IGA had really good pizzas (although at a higher price than most, but worth it).

Good location, clean property and met all of my requirements. Front door bell broken and there is a weird system where the front door has to open for the reception to be notified. Better signage needed on that. Also wifi password not included in check-in materials but wsa told that it had been provided, where it hadn't. Apart from that, everything worked as needed!

Good location, clean property and met all of my requirements. Front door bell broken and there is a weird system where the front door has to open for the reception to be notified. Better signage needed on that. Also wifi password not included in check-in materials but wsa told that it had been provided, where it hadn't. Apart from that, everything worked as needed!

Perfectly comfortable and spacious room with everything you need… just not impressed with the water saver shower head as it was just uncomfortable, and I don’t take long showers. Otherwise a great stay

The location was good, Very pleasant gentleman whi checked us in. The property was neat and attractive and I have never seen a room as cleanand inviting as this one. Would definately choose to stay here if ever needed again./

The room was so cold, we turned the heater up to maximum but tge temperature never went pass 19 degrees. The pillows are smelly of old dirty smell ingrained in the pillows themselves, not from the pillow cases. The towels are threadbare and the white colour has changed to grey, they look dirty and disgusting.
