Property is very old, but was clean and comfy. Stairways are steep and narrow, so definitely NOT recommended for anyone with mobility issues.

This is a super fun place to visit on a Friday night IF you enjoy country vibes and old school pub yarns. There was a pool comp, meat tray, members draws and some dice game that can win you a free drink. Bar staff are cool, let every select songs, no footy (!) No pokies (yes!!!) And genuinely nice Aussie pub times. Room was fine for a sleep over, dont expect much, ensuite room was great, hot hot shower. Totally not accessible. Just fun and a great town to explore. Also old uncle playing the SPOONS. Its as Aussie as pubs get.

Very old and does need a little love.very noisy as you can hear everything in every room.not enogh blankets.lovely old timber floors but every step creak and thump is heard theough out building..share bathrooms..lovely hot water..cheap and a last minute booking.

Such a shame to see an old building not be maintained… a favourite pastime of ours. The staff are obliging but must be frustrated with the conditions of the building and fittings … thin tired towels, old fashioned bedding, dirty black lace curtains, grimy spotted carpet, split Lino, peeling paint happening off painted window and generally screaming out for attention. A sad sad property. Owners need a thorough inspection and Expedia need to consider their agency.

Old pub, but cleanest l’ve stayed at of this type. Only option besides Motels in town. No meals, but plenty cafes & Hotel across the road has micro brewery & renovated bars/dining. Ensuite room large with clean linen & comfortable bed.

When went to bed (late, bar/reception closed) could not use top bunk as animal(?) hair all over bed. Cockroaches in room. Old creaky rooms with thin mattresses. Would not recommend or stay here again.

The beds were clean and comfortable. Dirty floor. One bathroom and one toilet for all staying there is unacceptable. Shower over a slippery bathtub, not on. Beautiful old pub, I don't think it would pass health and safety. Everywhere was missing louvers. Bad luck if there was a fire. No chance of escape if you are upstairs. Saying that it was cheap to stay, but I was relieved to leave the Australian hotel early morning. Sorry I had to say all that, but I do value my life and not a Princess. Cheers Maggie

For the price it was great, but it's an old pub up for sale, needs lots of work to the decor, but it was clean and comfortable and basic. The room wasn't ready at check in time, but otherwise service was fine.

Walls are paper thin. Make sure you confirm with property directly that you have the ensuite if that’s what you booked. Staff were awesome. Clean, comfortable, convenient to everything :) Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was really nice to us. We needed to check in before 6pm. But I forgot to let them to know that I arrive around 8pm. I arrived and called the hotel, the staff was about to finish her work and leave the hotel. But she’s nice to us and show us around the hotel. I’m really really appreciate her. She’s very nice person. Thank you so much!

Rung to say we were at a function and asked what time was latest check in Told 8pm Due to issues with navigation system we were 5 mins late The door was locked and no one answered door ! Thankfully another guest arrived and let a lone travelling woman in and found a staff member who was leaving No tea/ coffee supplied , no cups, no nothing except a good shower Not good enough for any traveller let alone international travelers This was booked last minute as other accomodation short in area It was cheap to stay at $190 for 2 nights Would the traveller stay again Never

I grew up in the area. It's nice to visit with an "old friend". Easy on the hip pocket, friendly helpful staff and within walking distance of everything you need. Even if I don't require accommodation, a trip to "The Aussie" is a must whenever I travel to Boonah/Fassifern Valley/Scenic Rim!

Do not stay here. It’s a boarding house. Girl living there in room next to ours smoked drugs all night long. All 4 pubs shut no meals on a Sunday night. Police had high presence when we had travelled 10000s km we had not seen any. This property should not be on web site. Very disappointed in them worst one ever

Pretty good deal for the price. The bed was clean, shared toilet and bathroom were well maintained. It also had a coffee room with milk and biscuits. I wasn’t expecting much but the state of the room exceeded my expectations. And if u think the area is going to be noisy because of the pub downstairs then it’s wrong. It was very quiet after 19:30. Had a very good sleep.

Pretty good deal for the price. The bed was clean, shared toilet and bathroom were well maintained. It also had a coffee room with milk and biscuits. I wasn’t expecting much but the state of the room exceeded my expectations. And if u think the area is going to be noisy because of the pub downstairs then it’s wrong. It was very quiet after 19:30. Had a very good sleep.

Room was very clean and lady checking us in was pleasant. Bathroom was down the draughty hall. Pressure in over bath shower poor. Toilet in seperate corridor and only one of each facility, so had to rush between others trying to access these. Room has a heater and fan, wardrobe too. Walls so thin that you might as well have been in same room as neighbours. Ghost tour held mostly outside our room. Separate room with tea coffee water milk and biscuits. microwave and fridge No dining facilities in pub and bar closes very early. A number of other options in walking distance though. We stayed for two nights, one would be more than enough. Building very old and has plenty of character. Free on street parking

Room was downstairs and absolutely feral. En-suite with no door, cracked and boarded up windows, mould in the carpet. Sold as Queen but only double - bed at least was clean. Only stayed because we got rained out of our tent camping

Its an old pub, for an overnighter it was fine, limited facilities but you get what you pay for. Staff very helpful and very clean, lots of stairs, Indian Hut nearby was superb, very happy with my quick stopover in Boonah!
