Local youth hanging around nearby revving engines. Parking was limited close to the room. Room was small and bathroom cramped with no ventilation. We were warned the hot water takes time to heat up and it did. A bit overpriced for the facilities

Wasn’t informed before arriving that film crew would be making noise at 4am and had to park about 200 metres away from room because the f the film crew as well, lack of information before arriving was not acceptable

The clock alarm went off at 5.30am with loud jazzy music. We had not set it. The area was quiet & the heating was on at the tight times ie when we arrived and in the morning. Towels need attention. No wifi. Otherwise value for a budget motel.

Reception lady was lovely, but room smelt musty when we opened the door. Heater took a while to kick in but worked ok after that. No exhaust fan in the bathroom so after a shower it just stayed foggy and damp, all night! We left the bathroom door open all night but in the morning the bottom half of the walls were still wet. The bathroom had been updated but unfinished in corners of the doorway. They’ve used dark grout on white tiles and it definitely looked like lots of mould in all bottom corners of the room. Plus the carpet closest to the bathroom door was dampish the whole night. Bed was ok but pillows were so flat, that even 2 were not enough to sleep on. Definitely won’t recommend this place for the price we paid

Unfortunately the room really needs a spring clean . When I touched the curtains my hand got dirty . I believe all the room’s curtains needed cleaning from looking from outside . The pillows in the room left a lot to be desired , I think update is over due . Hazard as you stepped out of our room number 19 the concrete had two levels, creating a very dangerous path/step .

Booked this pet friendly motel with wot if, checked in and was getting unpacked when an abrupt,cranky lady marched up to my wife and said our poodle can’t stay here, we are not pet friendly. So we showed her the wotif booking, she said she didn’t deal with wotif, so not to believe their google adds. We said refund us and we will leave, she then said ok you can stay, but don’t let your dog make a mess. Our dog as she saw is a 15yr old poodle who is deaf and blind, he is also house trained, we are retired 70yr olds, and felt like we were in trouble at school again, we wish we had never stopped there.

Area was really quiet which we appreciated. Bed and bedding needs updating as the quilt was very basic and I found the bed too hard for my liking. Served the purpose of a one night stay.
