Look people, this motel is indeed due for an upgrade. You are paying $150 per night, not 3 or 4 hundred. The bed was comfy, parking right outside your room. Everything was clean and the owner/manager is a great bloke. If you drive a Holden, be prepared to talk about cars. He is a fan of the late Mr. Peter Brock. Give him a go and then maybe he can renovate.

Booked with wotif, selected to pay at hotel in person only to find out upon arrive the lady at reception (owners wife) had already taken money from my credit card, then requested an additional refundable $50 for the room that she will inspect when we\'re ready to leave. Digital key pad for rooms, one of the rooms I booked has a low battery in the key pad so you have to try it multiple times. The rooms smell like they\'ve been cleaned choline, 3 people in both rooms but only 2 towels per room had request more. Meant to queen bed and single only got double bed and single bed. Walls are thin and can hear the next door neighbours. Rooms and bathrooms are way out dated and overpriced to be honest. Way overpriced "continental" breakfast for around $30 per person Honestly can\'t wait to get the hell out of here Would never recommend this place to anyone

Dieses Motel gebucht für Unterkunft nach Langstreckenflug. Leider war die Dusche nicht nutzbar, da Rohr defekt. Am letzten Tag ging auch die Toilettenspülung nicht. Zimmer meiner Meinung nach echt Renovierungsbedürftig. Couch Flecken mäßig nicht einladend. Matratze gut und Größe des Zimmers ok. Parken direkt vor der Tür gut und die Lage war gut. Ich würde es nicht wieder buchen.

Was like living in a slum. No flyscreens meant getting bitten by mosquitoes. Glass is pool which resulted in my daughter cutting her foot. Paid for 2 beds and got 1. Not family friendly at all. No breakfast. No WiFi password given.

We arrived 2.30pm, (office hours 8.30-5.30pm) office locked number to call went to bank message to leave a message. Rang the original no. I had and was given a code to enter at unit door. Faced with a black device on door , eventually worked out how to access keypad. I don't class this as good customer service

Property is disgusting falling apart needs bad maintenance, bed was horrible rock hard and only 1 pillow, curtains didnt close completely over the window, motel has permanent residents living there playing music and making noise all hours of the night..no customers service upon check in had to call a mobile number to get a pin to open the unit door..not worth $150 per night feeling ripped off!

Wifi connection was poor. Room was clean and there was cutlery and plates along with a microwave which were positive. No foot towel in the bath room and no liquid soap in the shower. The price is cheap which is also a positive.

The staff member at reception was great, very helpful. The gardens and pool area were clean, neat and well maintained. The room itself was very dated, in need of maintenance and an overall revamp and deep clean.

Very old, although clean and tidy, the floor carpet smelt stale, the bedding sheets were clean but with horrible stains and had discoloured dirty old blankets and covers . Also the room stunk of cigarette smoke which affected my eyes and throat terribley.

It looks like it was built in the 1960s and has had very little proper maintenance since. I arrived at about 3:15 pm and the room was not ready. When it was ready, it was very very basic. The bathroom is in very poor condition with many cracks in the tiles filled roughly with silicone, and lots of black mould. There were dead cockroaches in the crockery cupboard, and plenty of live ones running around the floors. The TV only has about 4 stations and none of the local ones work. The building creaks and bangs through the night. The bed was clean and comfortable. The best thing about it is that I now know not to stay there again.

We booked Raceways Motel in a hurry to stay for half a day while waiting for a connecting flight. We made the mistake pf not reading comments. Short stay at this motel is the most horrible motel experience we’ve had. 1. Room stink. Requested to change the room, a different room was given, it was a bit better than the initial room given, but still stunk. 2. Room not clean. There was stain, which appears to be blood stain on the counter top. The bedsheets were not clean. I am allergic to dust mites, I started itching less than an hour being on the bed (another customer had commented on the dust mites). Cupboards were dirty. (pictures attached) 3. Toilet not cleaned. Little baby cockroach on the sink 😊 (zoom picture attached). Wiring exposed. Commode bowl was stained. (pictures attached)

My room (number 4) had a massive bedbug infestation. Couldn't sleep at night and my neck felt weird. Woke up to be riddled with bites on it. Bites on my arm and finger to. Usually, you can't see bedbugs, but there was so many I managed to kill 5 of them which splattered blood. The amount i killed meant that there was a long-standing infestation. You're better off not sleeping than staying here.

The room was incredibly run down. Gauges out of walls, bedside lights didn’t work, no towels, no soap, bed was like concrete, broken bathroom louvres, graffiti on bathroom wall and very old furniture. The air con, tv and hot water all worked well. It’s a huge shame as this motel is in a beautiful area and close to the races and shops but there is complete disregard from the owner to the maintenance of the rooms.

The room was falling apart, has a terrible smell, is presented poorly, needs desperately to be updated. Light fittings need cleaning / replacing (one was held together with tape) Bathroom window needs replacing Paint in all areas is peeling off. Where repainting has been done it looks like a child did it with overpainting everywhere. Fridge has rust in it. TV has a light that blinds you in the night. Curtains in the rear of the room are offcut pieces of fabric. Tiles in the bathroom are missing and painted over poorly. Bathroom fittings old and worn. Storage drawers falling apart. No flywire screen on the only widow that can be opened (bathroom). Noise at 6 am from someone collecting laundry. Front desk not manned, ring the bell and nothing happens. I was quiet and close to facilities we needed but it was a very run down property in major need of a refurbishment. the painting was very scruffed, the bathroom had mould in the cracked tiles, a louvre in the bathroom window was missing and the cabinetry was old and marked. I was quiet and close to facilities we needed but it was a very run down property in major need of a refurbishment. the painting was very scruffed, the bathroom had mould in the cracked tiles, a louvre in the bathroom window was missing and the cabinetry was old and marked. Booked with wotif, selected to pay at hotel in person only to find out upon arrive the lady at reception (owners wife) had already taken money from my credit card, then requested an additional refundable $50 for the room that she will inspect when we\'re ready to leave. Digital key pad for rooms, one of the rooms I booked has a low battery in the key pad so you have to try it multiple times. The rooms smell like they\'ve been cleaned choline, 3 people in both rooms but only 2 towels per room had request more. Meant to queen bed and single only got double bed and single bed. Walls are thin and can hear the next door neighbours. Rooms and bathrooms are way out dated and overpriced to be honest. Way overpriced "continental" breakfast for around $30 per person Honestly can\'t wait to get the hell out of here Would never recommend this place to anyone

We arrived 2.30pm, (office hours 8.30-5.30pm) office locked number to call went to bank message to leave a message. Rang the original no. I had and was given a code to enter at unit door. Faced with a black device on door , eventually worked out how to access keypad. I don't class this as good customer service

WARNING! FILTHY! Cockroaches all over the floor. And to make it much worse, I went to the front desk and asked if they could clean it. They said no. I then asked for a broom, so at least I could sweep everything. They said no. They then said I could pay an amount equal to a whole extra room, and upgrade. He then said if I wanted a 5 star hotel, I should have gone somewhere else. I just wanted to get rid of cockroaches! The worst staff I have ever seen. What employer keeps staff who have an opinion of their place like that, COCKROACHES ARE EXPECTED BY THE FRONT DESK STAFF, LIVE WITH IT.

The room was falling apart, has a terrible smell, is presented poorly, needs desperately to be updated. Light fittings need cleaning / replacing (one was held together with tape) Bathroom window needs replacing Paint in all areas is peeling off. Where repainting has been done it looks like a child did it with overpainting everywhere. Fridge has rust in it. TV has a light that blinds you in the night. Curtains in the rear of the room are offcut pieces of fabric. Tiles in the bathroom are missing and painted over poorly. Bathroom fittings old and worn. Storage drawers falling apart. No flywire screen on the only widow that can be opened (bathroom). Noise at 6 am from someone collecting laundry. Front desk not manned, ring the bell and nothing happens. Ring the phone and get someone who isnt there. Clean up the carpark area, get rid of the old car being stored there.

Dieses Motel gebucht für Unterkunft nach Langstreckenflug. Leider war die Dusche nicht nutzbar, da Rohr defekt. Am letzten Tag ging auch die Toilettenspülung nicht. Zimmer meiner Meinung nach echt Renovierungsbedürftig. Couch Flecken mäßig nicht einladend. Matratze gut und Größe des Zimmers ok. Parken direkt vor der Tür gut und die Lage war gut. Ich würde es nicht wieder buchen.

Was like living in a slum. No flyscreens meant getting bitten by mosquitoes. Glass is pool which resulted in my daughter cutting her foot. Paid for 2 beds and got 1. Not family friendly at all. No breakfast. No WiFi password given.

The room was old and tired. i doubt if it had been renovated for at least 15 years. The hand basin, shower area was old deteriorated. When I first entered the room, the smell of the bleach they used to clean the room bought my eyes to tears, and I not sure what they cleaned the floor with, but my feet were sticking to the floor when walking around. The bed was uncomfortable leading to lack of sleep.

There was nothing much to like about the property. The bed was horrible the room wasn't clean neither were the cups glasses or cutlery. The only good thing was they supplied a hair dryer and shampoo conditioner and hand soap

Mildewed shower curtain, broken a/c, peeling contact on benches, patched paintwork, lukewarm hot water. Flightpath noise was on me, but didn't help the cause. This was a last resort choice, and highlighted the need to plan well in advance. Won't be staying there again.
