Savvas and Jenny have hospitality in their blood, and they work hard to make sure guests are comfortable. From the moment you walk in, the first thing you notice is how clean and fresh everything smells. The beds are nice and firm. Our first morning we intended to go out early for bougatsa. Jenny asked, “Where you going so early?” Savvas arrived with freshly baked bread shortly afterwards and said, “Why didn’t you say you wanted bougatsa?” Then he said, “Sit. I get you bougatsa.” While he prepared an amazing omelette, Jenny went and bought bougatsa and brought it back and served it to us with the rest of the amazing breakfast. Talk about service! We had a little hiccup trying to get to the hotel. It was our first time in Rhodes, and we didn’t realize that being in “Old Rhodes” meant that the hotel was inside a walled fortress. GPS kept telling us to enter a gated street. After driving over an hour looking for another possible entrance, we called the hotel, and Savvas met us on his motorcycle and let us go with him down the gated street—being with him gave us access. He then had a local electric taxi meet us to take us to the hotel. He said we should have called first. Our last day, we had to leave early to catch the ferry, and they served us breakfast an hour earlier than the stated time. In every way, they were eager to serve. Note: if you’re unfamiliar with remote control AC, be sure to ask. You don’t have to suffer the heat!

We had a lovely 1 night stay at this property. We booked the 2-bed house which is located just opposite the main building. The location was fabulous with lots of shopping and dining options close by. We were right in the middle of everything, but our street was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent. We only gave a 4* review due to lack of check-in experience, and it would have been nice if the lounge in the 2-bed house had air con. We would stay here again if we return to Rhodes.

The family apartment stairs are very narrow and steep for kids. The property owner keeps his construction supplies in the entertainment console. We also found multiple water bugs and ants in our room and bed. The breakfast was amazing however the conditions of the apartment were substandard.

Our host Savvas made every moment of our trip delightful. Our In coming flight into Rhodes was two hours late. He patiently sat at the airport and waited for us. Each morning Savvas made us a from scratch breakfast omelette with fresh vegetables, fresh baked bread, homemade jams, assorted olives. We enjoyed our 5 night stay and watched as He treated each client with the upmost respect and dignity. He helped each client arrange excursions for the day ahead and provided recommendations to the finest Greek food and which shops to avoid. Even on our final morning which required us to be at the airport by 7am. Savvas offered to make us breakfast before shuttling us to the airport to catch our early flight. Would I recommend Evdokia Boutique hotel to a fellow traveler YES! It’s a good jumping point to many different places on the island.

This was a wonderful hotel and we not only highly recommend this, but would travel half way around the world to return! What made it so special was the kind owner and his staff who pampered us: individually prepared breakfast (with the delicious omelets), daily room cleaning, free laundry, free high speed internet, etc. Of course, this Old Town facility was in a very old building and hot water was problematic. Twice we had cold showers which we discussed with the owner and he is aware of this issue. This inconvenience was overshadowed by the other many positives!

We stayed here just one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. The property is a historic building. The room was very clean. The bathroom was small, but it had all the necessities we needed during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast. The hosts made breakfast for the three of us (myself, my wife, and our 18-month daughter). They made a small omelette just for our daughter. Meanwhile, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with loads of traditional and local foods. The hosts were very friendly and the atmosphere as a whole left us with quite an impression. To those traveling during the off-season: Keep in mind that during the off-season most places in this part of the city are closed. Google maps will show that the many restaurants in the area are open - they are not. Make sure that you bring some food with you for the evening, or you may choose to walk beyond the old city and toward the coast (in the northwest direction) for some restaurants that are open late. Keep in mind that you may have to check yourself in. When we found the place, the hosts were at a different location, so we checked ourselves in and we did not see the hosts until the next morning. This was not a problem at all, its just part of the off-season. There is not tea kettle in the room, but there is a small kitchenette in the common area, so it is still possible to make yourself some tea in the evening. As a whole, this was a very unique stay and a wonderful experience. 5/5

The hotel is in a superb location and the building has a very distinctive character. When I arrived nobody was there at the reception and had to communicate via Whatsapp to check in. When the owner/personnel were around, they were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. But the rest wasn't so great. My room was very small and not that comfortable. There was no wardrobe in the room and I was asked to use one in the vestibule (i.e. in a public area!). I ended up keeping my clothes part in my suitcase and part on the floor. I found a small fridge in the outside cupboard and took it, because the room didn't have one. The bathroom fittings were poor. A wall mounted hook fell to the floor when I tried to hang a towel on it. The shower head was not fixed to the wall and I had to hold it (there were holes in the wall, but the job was never finished). There were signs of damage here and there. The room was made after my first night but not after the second. The TV remote control didn't work: not that it mattered, since I hardly ever watch TV in hotels, but still. Despite the looks, walls are thin: there was quite a bit of noise one night. I saw pictures of some of the other rooms on the web and they look great, which combined with the location and the quality of the breakfast explains the high rates the hotel gets: unfortunately the occasional guest ends up in a dodgy corner and for those 3 nights that guest happened to be me.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par l'hôtel qui est très bien situé dans la ville. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment bon (salade, omelette, et excellentes confitures...). Déçu par la chambre qui était vraiment très petite et vétuste (idem pour la salle de bain). Elle ne correspondait à aucune des photos montrées sur le site.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par l'hôtel qui est très bien situé dans la ville. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment bon (salade, omelette, et excellentes confitures...). I truly can't recommend this hotel enough. Firstly the building and surrounding area is right in the heart of old town so it's absolutely beautiful. The rooms were impeccably clean and we had everything we could have wanted. Another great benefit is that despite being very central it wasn't noisy at all and we slept great. With all that said the highlight is definitely the staff. Savvas and his family are all lovely people who are so welcoming and helpful. On our first day there we slept in a little late because we flew in late and still were very kindly given a lovely breakfast (and it was lovely every day afterwards too). If you're wanting to stay in old town book here!

There is not tea kettle in the room, but there is a small kitchenette in the common area, so it is still possible to make yourself some tea in the evening. The hotel is in a superb location and the building has a very distinctive character. When I arrived nobody was there at the reception and had to communicate via Whatsapp to check in. When the owner/personnel were around, they were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. But the rest wasn't so great. My room was very small and not that comfortable. There was no wardrobe in the room and I was asked to use one in the vestibule (i.e. in a public area!). I ended up keeping my clothes part in my suitcase and part on the floor. I found a small fridge in the outside cupboard and took it, because the room didn't have one. The bathroom fittings were poor. A wall mounted hook fell to the floor when I tried to hang a towel on it. The shower head was not fixed to the wall and I had to hold it (there were holes in the wall, but the job was never finished). There were signs of damage here and there. The room was made after my first night but not after the second. The TV remote control didn't work: not that it mattered, since I hardly ever watch TV in hotels, but still. Despite the looks, walls are thin: there was quite a bit of noise one night. I saw pictures of some of the other rooms on the web and they look great, which combined with the location and the quality of the breakfast explains the high rates the hotel gets: unfortunately the occasional guest ends up in a dodgy corner and for those 3 nights that guest happened to be me.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par l'hôtel qui est très bien situé dans la ville. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment bon (salade, omelette, et excellentes confitures...). Déçu par la chambre qui était vraiment très petite et vétuste (idem pour la salle de bain). Elle ne correspondait à aucune des photos montrées sur le site.

The family apartment stairs are very narrow and steep for kids. The property owner keeps his construction supplies in the entertainment console. We also found multiple water bugs and ants in our room and bed. The breakfast was amazing however the conditions of the apartment were substandard.

We stayed here just one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. The property is a historic building. The room was very clean. The bathroom was small, but it had all the necessities we needed during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast. The hosts made breakfast for the three of us (myself, my wife, and our 18-month daughter). They made a small omelette just for our daughter. Meanwhile, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with loads of traditional and local foods. The hosts were very friendly and the atmosphere as a whole left us with quite an impression. To those traveling during the off-season: Keep in mind that during the off-season most places in this part of the city are closed. Google maps will show that the many restaurants in the area are open - they are not. Savvas and Jenny have hospitality in their blood, and they work hard to make sure guests are comfortable. From the moment you walk in, the first thing you notice is how clean and fresh everything smells. The beds are nice and firm. Our first morning we intended to go out early for bougatsa. Jenny asked, “Where you going so early?” Savvas arrived with freshly baked bread shortly afterwards and said, “Why didn’t you say you wanted bougatsa?” Then he said, “Sit. I get you bougatsa.” While he prepared an amazing omelette, Jenny went and bought bougatsa and brought it back and served it to us with the rest of the amazing breakfast. Talk about service! We had a little hiccup trying to get to the hotel. It was our first time in Rhodes, and we didn’t realize that being in “Old Rhodes” meant that the hotel was inside a walled fortress. GPS kept telling us to enter a gated street. After driving over an hour looking for another possible entrance, we called the hotel, and Savvas met us on his motorcycle and let us go with him down the gated street—being with him gave us access. He then had a local electric taxi meet us to take us to the hotel. He said we should have called first. Our last day, we had to leave early to catch the ferry, and they served us breakfast an hour earlier than the stated time. In every way, they were eager to serve. Note: if you’re unfamiliar with remote control AC, be sure to ask. You don’t have to suffer the heat!

We had a lovely 1 night stay at this property. We booked the 2-bed house which is located just opposite the main building. The location was fabulous with lots of shopping and dining options close by. We were right in the middle of everything, but our street was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent. We only gave a 4* review due to lack of check-in experience, and it would have been nice if the lounge in the 2-bed house had air con. We would stay here again if we return to Rhodes.

Our host Savvas made every moment of our trip delightful. Our In coming flight into Rhodes was two hours late. He patiently sat at the airport and waited for us. Each morning Savvas made us a from scratch breakfast omelette with fresh vegetables, fresh baked bread, homemade jams, assorted olives. We enjoyed our 5 night stay and watched as He treated each client with the upmost respect and dignity. He helped each client arrange excursions for the day ahead and provided recommendations to the finest Greek food and which shops to avoid. Even on our final morning which required us to be at the airport by 7am. Savvas offered to make us breakfast before shuttling us to the airport to catch our early flight. Would I recommend Evdokia Boutique hotel to a fellow traveler YES! It’s a good jumping point to many different places on the island.

I truly can't recommend this hotel enough. Firstly the building and surrounding area is right in the heart of old town so it's absolutely beautiful. The rooms were impeccably clean and we had everything we could have wanted. Another great benefit is that despite being very central it wasn't noisy at all and we slept great. With all that said the highlight is definitely the staff. Savvas and his family are all lovely people who are so welcoming and helpful. On our first day there we slept in a little late because we flew in late and still were very kindly given a lovely breakfast (and it was lovely every day afterwards too). If you're wanting to stay in old town book here!

The location of the hotel is excellent, near the bustling main street of the Old Town, but tucked away in a small alley, meaning it was very quiet.

Lovely ancient house in old town Rhodos. Tio picked us up in the late evening at the airport as arranged..great service and very well priced. Close to loads of fabulous restaurants and bars. And super convenient for the port to the smaller islands .. after a great sleep we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. Thank you for a great but too short stay… longer next time we hope.

We had a beautiful experience in Rhodes. What an amazing town. The hotel was perfect in a great location and easy to walk to everything. A perfect experience with breakfast was a country vibe where everyone ate together and got to socialise.

Amazing atmosphere in this very old house right at the heart of the old town near all the historical sites in Rodes and also to the port. We enjoyed a lot breakfast and the conversations in the morning with other guests while we share the table.

Lovely ancient house in old town Rhodos. Tio picked us up in the late evening at the airport as arranged..great service and very well priced. Close to loads of fabulous restaurants and bars. And super convenient for the port to the smaller islands .. after a great sleep we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. Thank you for a great but too short stay… longer next time we hope.

Practical option for families in the centre of the old town of Rhodes. Very helpful and friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast. Decor is not modern or fancy but the hotel has a certain charm.

We stayed here just one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. The property is a historic building. The room was very clean. The bathroom was small, but it had all the necessities we needed during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast. The hosts made breakfast for the three of us (myself, my wife, and our 18-month daughter). They made a small omelette just for our daughter. Meanwhile, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with loads of traditional and local foods. The hosts were very friendly and the atmosphere as a whole left us with quite an impression. To those traveling during the off-season: Keep in mind that during the off-season most places in this part of the city are closed. Google maps will show that the many restaurants in the area are open - they are not. Make sure that you bring some food with you for the evening, or you may choose to walk beyond the old city and toward the coast (in the northwest direction) for some restaurants that are open late. Keep in mind that you may have to check yourself in. When we found the place, the hosts were at a different location, so we checked ourselves in and we did not see the hosts until the next morning. This was not a problem at all, its just part of the off-season. There is not tea kettle in the room, but there is a small kitchenette in the common area, so it is still possible to make yourself some tea in the evening. As a whole, this was a very unique stay and a wonderful experience. 5/5

I don't normally review but Evdokia deserves a mention for both the staff and the breakfast. The staff were utterly charming and the spread of excellent quality bread, homemade jams, cold platter, salad and cheese omelette were outstanding. Greek hospitality at its best ! Öncelikle işletme sahibi Savvas Bey çok ilgiliydi her sorumuza içtenlikle cevap verdi yardımcı oldu.Otelin yeri Old Town merkezinde konumu çok iyi ve temizdi.

Das Zimmer war eine Katastrophe. Wir haben die Baustelle/Abstellkammer bekommen. Die Decken waren höher als das Zimmer Breit war. Die Tür zum Zimmer hat sich nur mit Gewalt öffnen lassen. Auch der Mitarbeiter musste die Tür mit aller Gewalt aufreißen. Vor dem Zimmer gab es einen kleine Vorraum der als Lagerfläche gedient hat, für die Materialien zum Umbau. Der Schrank im Zimmer hat nach Zigarettenrauch gerochen. Das Badezimmer war eine reine Baustelle. Die Dusche hatte keine Wände, so dass das ganze Bad nass geworden ist. Im ganzen Bad gab es außerdem keinen einigen Haken um ein Handtuch aufzuhängen. Die Tür zum Badezimmer war marode und abgegammelt. Der Vermieter war überhaupt nicht gut erreichbar, hat zuerst keine Anstalten gemacht zu helfen und mit einer sehr überheblichen Art alles herunterspielen wollen. Mitten in der Nacht haben wir dann noch eine Nachricht bekommen, wir könnten das Zimmer wechseln. Die Zimmernummer die uns genannt wurde war aber belegt. Das wussten wir, weil wir vorher noch mit der Person gesprochen hatten, in dessen Zimmer wir mitten in der Nacht hätten einziehen sollen. Wir wollten nur so schnell wie möglich die Nacht hinter uns bringen und dann den Ort verlassen!

The breakfast was very good but I was not offered yoghurt until I saw others being given it, as I have an egg allergy and could not eat the omelette. Wifi was terrible. The room was very clean but very small. The owner was occasionally curt with his guests. The room was noisy at times at night due to loud music nearby. We would recommend staying out near the walls. The offered transfer for 40 euro took us to the sea gate but then we had to drag our luggage up the hill to the hotel. We found this difficult, as we are elderly. The stairs in the hotel are very steep with no help offered with luggage.
