Comfort Inn & Suites Chestertown

I called the central reservation desk to extend my stay at 08000 the morning of check-in. They verified the reservation under the current ID was extended. When I confirmed this with the front desk, she said they were no rooms available. There was no discussion and she and the next clerk gave no explanation. There were no positive interactions. Just 'We don't have any rooms". I had to come down to the desk after getting in my night clothes as there were no linens for the pull out bed. I had to carry them up by myself. No offer to help with the task. This was NOT a customer friendly place. There are no other places to stay in this little town, so I guess they dont have to try!!!!! NEVER AGAIN

The breakfast was as one would expect. Nothing unusual. I wish these hotels wouldn’t use so much plastic. Everything was clean. Chestertown is wonderful. Good restaurants. Much to see. The hotel is not fancy. Just a reliable place to be. Nothing unexpected. All good.

Clean, quiet.
