This is a great option if you’re crossing the border. The owner/ manager is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and newly decorated. Comfy bed. There’s a fridge and microwave but no kettle. There’s free tea and coffee in the morning. If you’re travelling Stateside I highly recommend Karen’s diner for breakfast, Main St Calais, you can’t miss it.

This is a great option if you’re crossing the border. The owner/ manager is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and newly decorated. Comfy bed. There’s a fridge and microwave but no kettle. There’s free tea and coffee in the morning. If you’re travelling Stateside I highly recommend Karen’s diner for breakfast, Main St Calais, you can’t miss it.

Clean. Working fridge and microwave. Working TV. Bathroom clean. Loved the fact that there are no carpets - floor very clean. Two very comfortable beds. Coffee in the office in the morning was appreciated. Bathroom is a bit small. Could also use a few more clothes hangers - I had brought some with me. And it would be wonderful if small pets were allowed inside, if they stayed in their own crates. Our 15-year-old cat had to stay in our car overnight. But the weather was fairly warm, so he was OK. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Doesn't look like much but the owner is awesome. Great coffee free in the main office. Its a motel so you park at your room. Very clean. Water was hot and shower had good water pressure. Bed was comfortable. And the price was excellent. Owner also pointed out an excellent diner. Second time staying there. Great value. I'll be back.

This property was exactly what we hoped for. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked, the rooms were clean and their was plenty of hot water for showers. The manager was friendly and courteous and there was complimentary coffee in the morning. Best of all, it was very well priced. It does not have a restaurant or pool, it is just a place to stay while you are in the area.

We arrived late on the evening of our check in, but the owner was wonderful and gave us a dinner recommendation in St. Stephen. The room was clean, VERY spacious, and well kept, the facilities were perfect. It was our final stop before the long road trip home, and was exactly the relaxing stay we needed.

I enjoyed a quiet evening, which was nice after driving many hours. I gave the area surrounding the hotel only a 3 due to not having time to explore and I had the feeling it was located on the “far” side of town, a little isolated. There were a couple of restaurants fairly close by that might be appealing but it wasn’t my time to experience them. The hotel, while needing a few upgrades, overall was clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent! Service and breakfast was excellent! I do, however, feel it was overpriced.

Besides a comfortable bed, plenty of shower hot water, clean, and a reasonable price, the owner impressed me with his thoughtful kindness. In the morning when I approached my motorcycle, i noticed a washcloth on the handlebars. The owner had placed it there so I could wipe off the night dew on my seats. I learned he did this for motorcyclists. That is customer service. For that reason alone I would stay at his hotel again.

Overall great experience. We arrived later than expected, but Daniel was great and insured we were able to check in and access our room. Overall, the bedding and bathroom was very clean. Mattress firm but clearly new. The size was just right for our party of two. Daniel even made sure we got some coffee in the office before we left in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

This nice little roadside motel was a pleasant surprise. It is very clean & nice. The bed was a bit too firm for me but we both did sleep well. Check in was easy and we received a real key to the door.! It’s very conveniently located for our last night in Canada. The border crossing is just 10 minutes away. I highly recommend it.

I always like to frequent small, family run businesses where possible and the owners have done a fine job of hosting guests with spotlessly clean and comfortable accomodations.Showing us to our room to make sure we knew how to adjust the heat and use the television was a nice touch as was the good coffee with real cream available in the office the next morning.

We stayed at this motel last year on our honeymoon. When we went out East this year it was our first motel when we crossed the border and it was our last motel before crossing again heading home. The only thing i guess i could say negatively about it, is that it doesnt have a complementary breakfast just coffee or tea available in the morning. No big deal though. It was the only thing i could think of..lol

This was a nice clean motel. Coffee should be available in the rooms. It is not available until 7 am in the morning which really does not suit early risers.

This property was exactly what we hoped for. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked, the rooms were clean and their was plenty of hot water for showers. The manager was friendly and courteous and there was complimentary coffee in the morning. Best of all, it was very well priced. It does not have a restaurant or pool, it is just a place to stay while you are in the area.

Good for a quick stop over. Room was small but clean. Only complaint is the beds are very firm. Would have been nice to have a grab & go breakfast option. Owner seemed very nice.

We would definitely stay here again. We have traveled on many Road trips and by far, these are the favorite type of hidden gems we like to find. The unit was updated, TV, Fridge, worked wonderfully. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a semi nice upgrade, but required maintenance (peeling wall board, no outlet and dirty floor boards ) overall not anything that would keep us from staying here again. The loveseat in the room was a lighter blue and absolutely filthy. I put a towel over it but, this just took away from the ambiance. Again we would stay here again, just not a 5 out of 5.

Small but clean rooms. Very helpful owner. There was no hairdryer or electrical outlet in bathroom, somewhat unexpected but not a dealbreaker. Overall a nice one night stay…would recommend.
