Interesting place spoilt a little by wifi not working when we arrived (but fixed later that evening) and a broken shower door making it difficult to close properly. Nice breakfast. Not many dining options but would recommend 'Red Claw' a short walk away. Basic from outside and OK in but good quality of food. Peaceful location with outdoor seating and indoor lounge. Very nice breakfast conservatory. Parking very easy.

I was doing solo bicycle ride around the island and I was luck to get last room at this facility. Inside is very modern updated place. Room was best place is stayed on the island. Breakfast was buffet style and was very nice. Located between the water and the town. Good location. I see plenty of car parking, but I was there on the bicycle. I wish there was shelter parking spaces for bicycle. Great value. I will stay again!

We loved the quaint and historic McLean house. Check-in was very smooth and they accommodated our late arrival. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We also really enjoyed breakfast every morning and the views from the dining room. Highly recommended!

Manager was friendly but doesn't live on site. Facility was dated and in need of TLC, and didn't comply with PEI safety codes re: smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, even though there's a sprinkler system. Breakfasts were repetitive and unable to accommodate a gluten free diet. That being said, it's an acceptable place for a night if you have a need to stay in Souris.

We absolutely LOVE our stay at the MacLean house . Next time we plan on staying longer . Our hosts Mildred , Virginia and Lynn were very friendly and made us feel at home . The home cooked breakfast and fresh coffee started off our days just right ! Our room was cozy and clean , with a nice dinning aread across the hallway , with views of the ocean . Walking distance to many little shops and close to the beach and the lighthouse . I would absolutely recommend this place and I will be returning ! Thank you so much for making our stay as amazing as it was 😊

Endroit charmant et chaleureux ainsi que près de la mer. Tout était pensé pour accueillir des voyageurs. Des verres de vins étaient à disposition dans les chambres. Le lit est confortable. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux. J'ai adoré! Je recommande!

Charming old home turned into a B&B. Comfortable and spacious room—#201 on second floor (note that stairway is steep, and there are three steps down to the bathroom). Good breakfast with fresh eggs, sausage and potatoes; blueberry granola & yogurt “parfait” and muffins were offered each day. Lovely and accommodating host, who drove 1.5 hours on a Sunday to buy a tub bathmat as I was afraid of slipping. And you will see wild red fox visiting the grounds!

Don’t let the outward appearance of this place fool you!! The Inn was lovely and Virginia our Inn host was one of our favorite parts of PEI. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and customized breakfast, a rarity in PEI, added to the welcoming atmosphere of the inn room.

C'est seulement après avoir payé motel qu'il y a une note sur hre arrivée 20h00. Nous partons de la gaspesie et nous arrivons à 1h30 de ka nuit et porte barree. Très interessant se retrouver sans endroit pour dormir avec un enfant de 2 ans. Et de plus perdre au- desdus de 200.00. Très decue.

We absolutely LOVE our stay at the MacLean house . Next time we plan on staying longer . Our hosts Mildred , Virginia and Lynn were very friendly and made us feel at home . The home cooked breakfast and fresh coffee started off our days just right ! Our room was cozy and clean , with a nice dinning aread across the hallway , with views of the ocean . Walking distance to many little shops and close to the beach and the lighthouse . I would absolutely recommend this place and I will be returning ! Thank you so much for making our stay as amazing as it was 😊

Don’t let the outward appearance of this place fool you!! The Inn was lovely and Virginia our Inn host was one of our favorite parts of PEI. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and customized breakfast, a rarity in PEI, added to the welcoming atmosphere of the inn room.

Endroit charmant et chaleureux ainsi que près de la mer. Tout était pensé pour accueillir des voyageurs. Des verres de vins étaient à disposition dans les chambres. Le lit est confortable. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux. J'ai adoré! Je recommande!

Manager was friendly but doesn't live on site. Facility was dated and in need of TLC, and didn't comply with PEI safety codes re: smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, even though there's a sprinkler system. Breakfasts were repetitive and unable to accommodate a gluten free diet. That being said, it's an acceptable place for a night if you have a need to stay in Souris.

Charming old home turned into a B&B. Comfortable and spacious room—#201 on second floor (note that stairway is steep, and there are three steps down to the bathroom). Good breakfast with fresh eggs, sausage and potatoes; blueberry granola & yogurt “parfait” and muffins were offered each day. Lovely and accommodating host, who drove 1.5 hours on a Sunday to buy a tub bathmat as I was afraid of slipping. And you will see wild red fox visiting the grounds!
