Een prima verblijf. Heel appartement binnen het huis. De kamer was een beetje stoffig naast en achter het bed, maar de rest was ok. De eigenaresse en familie waren heel vriendelijk. Vooral oma heeft veel verteld over de tijd dat ze bij Oost duitsland hoorden. Ontbijt was helemaal goed, kon je zelf via een kaart samenstellen en werd prima verzorgd. Bij een volgende gelegenheid kom ik hier zeker terug.

I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off. It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there. That said, the room was like a little apartment. It was comfortable with a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Furniture wasn’t new, but comfortable. Bathroom was nice, though the shower was a little small. I didn’t see any temperature control in the room, but it wasn’t too hot or too cold. The host/owner was kind and helpful. The place had a lot of character to it that made it charming. When I went to plug in my phone charger on the side of my bed, that’s when I noticed a lot of dust-bunnies. It could probably use a deep clean, but it was fine for one night.

We had a very pleasant stay in Eisenach at Pension Mahrets. Anna was very helpful, showed us around and gave recommendation about the town. Would stay again if in the area.
