Bluebird Motel

This motel is conviniently located near the ferry terminal, and wirh a car, so many great restaurants are easily accessible. Our suite with kitchenette was very large, clean and comfortable. Above all, the 5 star rating is for the staff at this motel. They are so nice, welcoming and treat you more like familly than hotel guests.

I liked how quiet and clean it was. It is an older building so water temperatures in the shower was crazy. I liked the little kitchen. Everything you needed

This Motel is older and basic, but we found it to be very clean and the service was good. The kitchenette room that we had was very spacious.

The staff seemed very helpfully and were extremely nice and inviting. The downside to a family that is non smoking was there was constant smoke smell. Luckily our one bedroom had no smoke smell, but the kitchen/living area my kids stayed in was pretty yucky. The upkeep of the place is wonderful, just smoky

Kitchenette available including stove, fridge, microwave, sink, and all utensils you would need. They dont like late check-ins. Somethings were in need of repair, like door knobs. Cheaper priced for the area.

Kitchen was poorly stocked, even with the basics. Noticed a foul smell as soon as we walked in

Absolutely loved my stay at the bluebird. I was so happy to find they supplied pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc.. I cant wait to stay there again :)

Very comfortable. We stayed in a room with a full kitchen and kitchen essentials which is really nice. Will definite stay here again.

Spacious suite

Floor was dirty, the beds were on rollers so sitting up in bed proved difficult. The oven took forever to heat up. Only two towels and one little bottle of shampoo in the bathroom for 4 people.(I had to fo get more) The bedding was clean.

The staff made myself and my family feel like we were at home. The place was spotless. 100% recommend and I'll be back!

Extremely noisy air conditioner, bed sheets with stains.

This motel is not like it appears in the pictures. They do not clean it very well at all. We slept on top of our bed with our own blankets (which I’ve never done before). There was a Gatorade bottle under our bed that was from previous guests. There was a hair in the drawer. The outlet wasn’t covered. The curtains were barely curtains, we hung our beach towels up for shade. Every time the ac unit’s fan went on the lights would flicker. There was a stain on the side of my sons bed. The fold out couch is basically a foamy and you feel every rod in the frame. No bedding was provided for the pull out couch until we went down and asked for it. The couch looked like it was picked up from the side of the road. Just wanted to check out and leave first thing so I informed the front desk about the Gatorade bottle u dear the bed and that it was dirty. She said sorry and I left as I had kids in the car and a place to be. Contacted Expedia about the issues asking for some money back but the motel refused as they said I didn’t complain. Sorry, next time I’ll miss my appointment and upset my kids to cause a scene. I have pictures and a video to back up all my findings. I will be contacting the health and safety board as this motel cannot be up to code.

Close to the ferry, but not well maintained. Beds were uncomfortable and outside was noisy with people talking and smoking into the night. The A/C unit pulled cigarette smoke from outside the room into the room making it unpleasant to stay in the room. The couch in the room was quite dirty and not something I would want to sit on.

The maid used my toilet before i checked in... the fan in the bathroom didnt work so the whole room smelled like poop. Not recommended.

The hotel is on a very busy road. Very loud, day and night. No bed bugs, so that was good. But overall, the property was very sketchy. The full ashrrays of cigarette butts in front of rooms, and the worn furniture were pretty gross. Would not stay here again.

THEY NEED A NEW SOFA BED IT WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND SANK IN QUITE DEEP WHILE USIONG THE BED OTHERWISE WE ENJOYED IT

Beds are old and very uncomfortable. Outlets in the room don’t work. Air conditioners work slow and very warm at night as it is July.

Desk staff extremely kind and helpful. I could hear noise from guests above and beside my room. I had asked for a quiet room

Room is recently renovated. Bathroom was especially clean and new. Beds were older but still good. We were catching the first morning ferry so the location was great. Also close to two nice parks, one on the harbour and the other had a waterfall. Price was steep for a motel room, but overall pleased with our stay

Looks like both room and bathroom are renovated to clean and modern concept. Clean bedsheets and towels. Only issue we had was the sunken mattress that hurt our back next morning.

Pros: very clean room, friendly staff, unbeatable price, good 2Q beds in bdrm. Cons: worst sofa-bed of my life. Literally sleeping on the floor would have been a better decision.

Clean sheets and appliances, unfortunately the smell of Pine Sol in the room was toxic. I had to open the windows to get fresh air. AC in the room too loud, and temp control was broken. The motel is minutes from the ferry terminal, the only reason we chose to book a room there.

The staff were not kind i didnt get my recipet and check in and the man got upset assuming i got it and then the lady worker also wasnt kind wjen we first checked in If you looking for affordable one night stay kindnof deal this is the hotel, the room was bad was spacious not much hot water, Very noisy with partiers in the area kept hearing banging and yelling and walking on porch Would not stay here again for my family

Everyone was so kind, the owner was fabulous, she’s really a star! Staff was great too! We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come visit again!!!!!

When we reached to the front office, the lady in the front had attitude and when I asked for a blanket- she was like “why”, unprofessional and need to improve customer service skills for paying customer.
