The Good: Staff friendliness and attentiveness 10/10 Breakfast was hot and, while typical hotel breakfast fare, was well stocked and the area clean. 9/10 Lobby, Hallway, and general room cleanliness 9/10 The Not-so-good: We came in late and nearly couldn't park close to the hotel. Only after circling the building one more time did someone leave in the back lot and we took the spot. 1/10 Lobby had that cloying perfumey-chemical scent so many hotels have. (Are they covering up another scent or do they think it smells good? I'd rather smell bleach) Though I didn't smell it in the hallways, I left the next morning with my sinuses clogged and headachey. 2/10 Bathroom toilet seat did not fit and was not secured sliding widely side-to-side everytime you used it. 1/10 No bathroom hook behind the door to hang clothing when showering 2/10 When we got up we noted dried vomit on one of the curtains 0/10 I reported all these things on check-out and the front desk worker was not surprised by the toilet lid, made a note of the hook and was appropriately shocked by the vomit. I travel through Clovis regularly and came here based on reviews, but will not likely stay again.

Pet friendly is a definite plus.Nicely updated interior paint colors and artwork/photos to reflect New Mexico culture. Breakfast was EXCELLENT with real omelet & sausage links. We were on a quick one day turnaround trip from Santa Fe, to pick up a new lawn mower, and a pleasant comfortable place to stay overnight was a definite benefit. Thanks, Best Western of Clovis NM!

We loved this hotel. The price is perfect. Everything was clean. Breakfast was awesome. Pool was warm and clean. Beds were comfy. Staff was awesome. It’s so nice to find a pet friendly hotel that is cleanly and affordable.

They were able to accommodate our large uhaul with easy access parking. The staff and accommodations were excellent. Very friendly. Loved the sound of the trains passing thru at night.

While the city of Clovis itself can be a little smelly due to the nearby dairy farms, we were extremely pleased with our stay here. We had a group of 6 and stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. It was very spacious and clean. The indoor pool was warm and the receptionist that checked us in was really nice and helped recommend a place to have dinner. There is also a cappuccino/latte/hot chocolate machine in the lobby which we all enjoyed. Would stay here again.

Stay was great. Haleigh (I believe thats the spelling) was fantastic. She was courteous, helpful, and extremely professional. Just be prepared to not sleep as the train comes by every hour all night long and since there is a crossing right by hotel, it sounds constantly! But the hotel itself and the employees are fantastic.

We were on a long trip from central Texas to Northern New Mexico. We broke up the trip to stay here. The hotel was excellent. The rooms were updated, clean with thick towels and soft sheets. The breakfast was actually good and a nice surprise. We had actually planned to drive straight through on the return trip but this hotel was so pleasant, we broke up the return trip and stayed here on the way back also.

I do wish that hotels would give the option on AC settings to run the fan function. This hotel is near train tracks so we were woken up several times overnight by the train passing through. Being able to run the fan option would be helpful for white noise.

Everything, starting with the staff member that greeting us and checked us in to the check out. We forgot our phone charger and the staff at the front desk got it to us before we left the building. The woman in the kitchen was wonderful, she was a warm smile every morning, she was helpful and made us feel at home! Every staff member we encountered was smiling and friendly! I wish every where we traveled had a duplicate of this BW !

Kirsten was awesome! Hotels.com messed up the reservation and she did all she could, including talking with the agent we had finally reached in our phone, to resolve the issue. Hotels.com gets a ‘0’ Kirsten gets a 10!

First they refused to accept any form of payment from me other than cash. Then After seeing my boyfriend had tattoos they said we would need an additional $600 just incase "this thug damages my hotel" then proceeded to make awful remarks about how white women have no value and that my poor children should be ashamed that i cant even get my credit up high enough for a credit card.

Parking had 9 spots in front, you could park in back without a door or lights in area. Breakfast wasn’t very good.

The hotel was very clean, and our room was kept nice and cool, which made for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated that the bathroom had liquid hand soap instead of the typical bar soap. They also had wall-mounted dispensers in the shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which was a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of options and had something for just about everyone, regardless of dietary preferences. One of my favorite amenities was the coffee machine, which made specialty drinks like espresso and hot chocolate, something you don’t often see at hotels. They also had a beverage station available throughout the day with drinks like lemonade and flavored water, which was a nice bonus. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The only minor drawback was that I wished the elevator had been a little larger, but it certainly wasn’t enough to take away from the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Overall was good. A/C issues and didnt ger breakfast because the person was too late so it didnt happen at 6am and we had to leave (if we knew that we would have been on the road earlier but was hoping to get breakfast first but didnt happen. Overall people were friendly and was a nice place.

Staff was exemplary, accommodations were spotless and super comfortable, breakfast menu and dining area were fabulous. Food was appropriately stored, temperature was perfect and choices were great.

Alpine Inn was a decent place to stay, it is not a new Inn but is well maintained and cleaned by the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful when needed. The hot breakfast was great for a hotel type breakfast. The WiFi worked and had a speed the was fast enough not to downgrade down loads, etc. The TV had many choices including Direct TV and Internet TV. Did not test the Direct TV channels only watched YouTube channels, which worked just fine without buffering issues.
