We enjoyed the convenient location and friendly staff. The rooms were small, but modern and clean. The outdoor gathering area was the perfect spot to enjoy our pizza dinner. If we were to return, I would request a room further away from the ice machine-it was very noisy!

No elevator, little insulation between rooms, the parking lot was a bit narrow, and our room, though non-smoking, smelled of cigarette smoke. But it was clean, comfortable, convenient and practical.

This property is really a motor lodge; two stories with no real lobby. The room was comfortable with a great shower and good bed. Easy access to the main road and old town area. We'd stay there again.

The room was bright and cheery. It was cleaned well but there was a lite bit of dust, as though it had been unused for awhile. The only 100% pet- free room is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. They have a large very nice outdoor patio available to the guests. This is a converted mid-century motel. I recommend earplugs if you are a lite sleeper.

The staff was so great to move our room to the lower floor because we would have difficulty going up the stairs once I realized earlier that day I forgot to request the lower floor. We didn't have to check in to the office which was great to do it online before arriving. We had a entry code to enter our room, this allowed us to go straight to our room once we arrived very late in the evening. The room was great with the a large area to put our luggage on with four of us in the room. I love that the beds were at the right height for me, because most hotels have beds really high and difficult to get into for me. The sink was very deep and great if needing to stay longer then a day or two to be able to wash dishes or other things. I loved the cool color of the refrigerator. My only downside was the bed mattress was a bit more softer side. When I sat on the side it sank down a bit which made me feel like I could slide off the bed if I sat there for longer period of time. As for sleeping it was great and very comfortable.

Yes room was clean and parking was easy. Check in was professional and fast. The heater was loud but it worked well. The toilet area of the bathroom could’ve been nicer and the tub was old. The outside grounds could’ve been cleaner and the leaves cleaned up. There was a fireplace outside but wasn’t on.

great lil room . VERY clean. updated, no elevator. no annoying smells! Staff was so friendly! only issue was : we stayed on first floor and the folks upstairs sounded like...yikes!! you can hear every pounding footstep!! we almost called the front desk...maybe stay on the top floor...but be considerate of your footing!

We checked in late and found our room with beer cans in the ice bucket, garbage bags and a personal water bottle under the sink from a previous guest.Used coffee pods in the maker. There is no mirror other than the bathroom combo/dressing area sink. No night stand area on one side. No major Chanels just wanted to watch the Olympics. Had to cast from your phone I have no clue how to do that!! Way over priced for a crappy little Motel!!!!

Very clean place to stay, looks newly renovated. Very clean. The staff was great and provided great recommendations. My only complaint would be that the walls are thin and you can here the people next door talking and the people above walking around.

Pros: helpful staff, clean rooms, comfy beds. Cons: thinnest walls and ceilings possible, rowdy clientele, terrible wifi, bare minimum amenities. We stayed 3 nights. First night we were kept awake by the ice maker (two doors down), foot traffic (both overhead guests and adjacent stairs), and loud guests. We were relocated to the upper level after speaking with the front desk. Second night was fine but WiFi didn’t support remote work in the morning. Third night we were woken by yelling guests and slamming doors at 1am and 3am. Do not recommend and will not return.

It was a very quick overnight stay (late night arrival, early departure) before catching early morning ferry. It was perfect-- simple and met all our needs. The room appeared newly remodeled, was immaculately clean, and had a cool kitschy artsy vibe. Very comfortable beds & pillows. It was very quiet. The only feedback id offer is that i wish they'd provided paper cups/go-cups-- I was able to make a delicious cup of coffee at 4 am with the in-room coffee maker (and yes, the coffee provided was actually delicious!) but then realized they only provided real mugs--- so i couldnt take it with me to sip while i waited in the ferry line. But otherwise-- our stay was perfect!

Heat/cool unit woke me when cycled on. Kitchenette sink serves as bathroom sink. Has sink, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker, but no place to sit and eat. Bed squeaks. Tub looks like it was refinished, and the coating is coming off. Other than that, it was perfect.

Our room has no view as it’s by the stairs. However, it was away from traffic and quiet. A second shelf as a nightstand would be nice, and a chair would be helpful. The room is very small. WiFi is slow at times.

The room was nice, clean, and easily accessible, but the walls are very thin. I could hear everything everyone was doing inside their rooms or outside on the walkway. Someone in the room next to me turned on the TV around 4am, and I could hear the entire show. I did appreciate that there was no extra charge for parking.

The room was small. There was a shelf on one side of the king size bed and a small utility “desk”or “shop” lamp on that side. Nothing on the opposite bed side to put anything on like a cellphone, alarm clock, glasses, book, etc. There was not an outlet there either. No phone to request a wake-up call. One outlet under the desk. Could not watch Seattle news because “Pluto” didn’t carry current news, and they kept losing the signal. The news was old. We were there for 4 nights and we never figured out how to get common TV. The room didn’t have a closet, just a couple of hangars. No table for eating, just a desk and one chair. We will not stay here again, and cannot recommend it to others.

The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the ac was great. The not great was that the WiFi didn’t work, tv didn’t have the basic channels so you have to use your own apps or suffer with Pluto tv. And finally, some of the other guests were a bit sketchy, not a good feeling. But it was very quiet and I slept well.

Staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. The place looks freshly renovated—you can still smell the paint! My room was clean, comfy, and had a cute little mini fridge. The whole place has a cool, hipster vibe. Great snacks available to buy, and the price was awesome. Overall, highly recommend!

A/C heating unit was extremely loud so had to be turned off in order to sleep. Fortunately the weather was mild. There are no closets just some hooks on the walls so a stay of 5 days meant having to haul out the suitcases every day. No housekeeping until day three is the norm as this motel. Beds were comfortable and staff was friendly. Location is convenient on main drag. Very nice park for kids adjacent to motel with big playground. Downstairs room was noisy when guests were in room above because structure is old and creaks loudly when people walk around upstairs. Internet is very slow. We did not use tv so don’t know about that. Coffee maker broken on arrival, but I took it to the office and was given a brand new one. I like their online pre-registration—made check-in a snap.

My stay at Anacortes Inn was filled with frustration. I kept getting new charges on my credit card daily. I would contact management to fix the issue and I was told everything was good. The next day there’d be a new charge. I had been charged for the room a second time, but it was broken into two separate charges. I was also told it’s a one time payment of $25 for dogs. I saw that $25 charge go through on my card, and I thought everything was good. When I get home I noticed a new charge of $55.40. I then received a receipt saying that charge was for my dogs. I had already been charged $25 for my dogs on top of this new charge. After once again calling and talking to them about this statement I was told the other charges would be fixed and that I was only going to be charged $25 since both the manager and their site say it’s $25 for animals and not per animal. I thought everything would finally be cleared up and I wouldn’t leave a review even though I was frustrated, but of course there was an issue. That $55.40 charge for the dogs wasn’t fixed. At this point I don’t care, keep the money. I’ll give you a bad review in return. If you want a headache stay at Anacortes Inn; otherwise look anywhere else.

I love this place second time I have stayed. We will stay here from now on. It’s clean beds comfortable, staff amazing and close to everything. It’s Been remodeled also. I can’t say enough nice about it!

We stopped in on our way to eat to make sure they had rooms. The girl that helped us was great, very friendly and helpful. We booked the room on Expedia and went back later to check in. A different clerk was working who was curt, rude and unprofessional. I asked for a couple extra pillows and she went into a tirade about how she was the only one working and couldn't bring them for awhile. She never brought them. The room was very clean but the floor was still wet from having been cleaned and we were sliding all over the place. There were also some low spots on the floor where water was pooled in both the bathroom and main room that never did set up so we had to keep walking around them. The tub drain was very slow. The walls are very thin and you could hear every word said in the next room. It's a shame because the rooms have been updated but it's an older inexpensive hotel that's been updated inexpensively. On a positive note it was very clean so no complaints about that.

Staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. The place looks freshly renovated—you can still smell the paint! My room was clean, comfy, and had a cute little mini fridge. The whole place has a cool, hipster vibe. Great snacks available to buy, and the price was awesome. Overall, highly recommend!

Pets welcome! and that was huge as many places do not allow them, super clean and comfortable, the management was FANTASTIC! They checked in a few times but not in a annoying or pushy way, made sure we had a good 1st night and asked if we need anything, then the next day to make sure everything was ok and upon checkout and even sent a link for the ferries in case we were taking one and needed to register. Super kind and thoughtful and we had horrid experiences traveling to Anacortes so this was a breath of fresh air! Highly recommend! Thanks again for such a pleasant trip!

We were locked out of our room for an hour and we were unable to reach any staff to assist us. The staff neglected to mention that the rooms would be locked up on too many incorrect attempts. The room was nice otherwise.

The staff members who were assisting us check in early, including finishing cleaning our room ahead of schedule were amazing. So warm and welcoming, sincerely friendly folks. The design of the rooms is great too, the only downside is the vinyl flooring is starting to deconstruct already (it's the product quality that is poor, not the installation.)

Anacortes Inn was a beautiful hotel and so clean/modern. Unfortunately we were placed right next to the stairwell and behind the wall by the fireplace so it was a bit dark and inconvenient for unloading/loading the car with 2 kids. That being said, if you have little kids, the playground at the back of the hotel was key! We had so much fun wearing them out before the end of the day and first thing of the day. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and a short drive for more options. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay and the rooms have always been very clean and the staff very friendly. It’s conveniently located off the main road into town and there are several grocery stores and lots of restaurants a short drive away. The accommodations are very basic but it has everything you need. We had a few burned out light bulbs which we asked to be replaced but never were. This made shaving very challenging. One other weird thing is that the sink is a kitchen sink so it’s deep and boxy making it difficult to get close to the mirror.

Located about 1-2 miles from the downtown area. So not very walkable if that’s what you’re here for. Easy drive to downtown shops and restaurants and plenty of parking down there though. Plenty of restaurants nearby by mostly fast food choices.

Nice clean property. Lot of dining options available in the area. I left my jacket in the room after check out and came back later in the day and they had it for me. Great people. Would stay there again and would highly recommend.

This is a great find in Anacortes. Easy check in, updated room. Welcome snacks were a nice touch. Love the decor and the Nordic theme. Suggestions for management: Room could use a full length mirror and I wish the tv had cable but neither were a big deal. Definitely would recommend staying here.

It was a very quick overnight stay (late night arrival, early departure) before catching early morning ferry. It was perfect-- simple and met all our needs. The room appeared newly remodeled, was immaculately clean, and had a cool kitschy artsy vibe. Very comfortable beds & pillows. It was very quiet. The only feedback id offer is that i wish they'd provided paper cups/go-cups-- I was able to make a delicious cup of coffee at 4 am with the in-room coffee maker (and yes, the coffee provided was actually delicious!) but then realized they only provided real mugs--- so i couldnt take it with me to sip while i waited in the ferry line. But otherwise-- our stay was perfect!

The room was clean and comfortable. The chairs were a little uncomfortable, but but terrible. The bed was not great ... it felt like maybe the bracket in the middle was loose. It squeaked and wobbled when I rolled over. That said, the staff were really friendly and it's a convenient location. I would give this place another chance for sure.

If you get a room on the first floor, it is very noisy. That was the main issue - we heard people walking around at all hours of the night. Seems the main selling point of this hotel is to get something close to the ferry. Well, we wish we would have found something else a little further out that was quiet and just got up a little earlier. Room was fine. We had good space, big tv, and amenities. Beds were ok but pillows were all on the lumpy side and if you have a strong preference for this it’s hard to find a good combo. Toilet was old and small. Bathroom was very small but shower was ok. Even though it was not hot out, the room felt warm. The AC unit is very loud. If we kept windows open it would be even louder from outside noise. Again, if your point is ferry travel, I’d say look for a different spoto
