Put us on the first floor near the common areas. Playing music you could easily hear til 10pm at night. Recommend not staying on first floor.

My son lives three blocks away from this hotel in Brooklyn. Although I usually stay at his place when he travels I typically will stay at HN for a few days when he returns. Greenpoint is a beautiful neighborhood, quieter than Williamsburg but just a short walk from it. The hotel is a converted old factory turned into really cool and funky hotel rooms that are big with great decor and amenities. Through the years that I’ve been staying here, the staff has changed, but every single one of the people behind the desk have been incredibly accommodating and as nicest can be! And an extra bonus is the outdoor balcony with a perfect view of Manhattan to sit on with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Don’t hesitate to stay here. You’ll love it!

My husband and I had a great stay! Room was spotless, comfy and well appointed, staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the penthouse on the 4th floor and enjoyed our patio with a lovely view. The neighborhood is fantastic with great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Definitely recommend!
