Beachside Resort

It was good, close to the beach and the pool was nice !

Pool closed, vending machines unplugged(?), tub drain removed and needed screwed it, didn't hold water. Csution tape and bungee xords holding up fence near pool. Grills locked up also. Many hotels had OPEN pools. If we had known pool was closed, we could have had a cheaper stay much closer to the beach with no pool.

Place was clean. But parking was limited and had to double park my car and leave keys at desk and the hours were limited

Location was amazing. Staff were very very helpful. Room was clean and we were provided with new towels whenever we asked. Pool was clean and pretty. Fridge has a lot of space.

It was close to the boardwalk, however the pool was absolutely disgusting. The area smelled like sour milk. And it had clearly not been kept up with. We asked for extra pillows and linens and they didn’t have any. Also no washcloths were provided in the bathroom I had to run to Walmart to buy them Also the parking situation is horrid. There isn't enough spots. For the price I paid I didn’t feel like it was worth what I got.

Wished the rooms had coffee makers. Better parking

Excellent location in the heart of town! 1 block away from boardwalk, you can see it from hotel. Very clean. Vinky at front desk was very polite and helpful. On site parking. Outdoor eating area where you can see everything happening. Many restaurants and store within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I cant wait to stay again next year

The parking was ab issue

Overall place was nice for the price. The reason for the 4 star rating is because of the parking. There are very few parking spots so people have to double park. They make you leave your car keys with the office to move your car is someone needs to get out.

Spacious room with two king beds which were very comfortable. Two blocks and you’re right on the boardwalk. I did not like the parking- for 2/3 of the spaces you had to either be ‘parked in’ with someone behind you, or if you were behind someone, you had to leave your keys with the hotel. We also had two cars and I had to park 5 blocks away in order to not pay for parking which was $120 for the day.

Where to start, I had to clean the fridge inside and out so that we could use it. There was mold growing in the microwave. The bed skirt and bed covers were dirty and stained. Once, we found the comforters they were stained as well. We had issues with the door. It stuck and made it difficult to get out of the room. The pool area was okay.

First of all, the room was dirty, you had to wear shoes to go from bed to bathroom, top of fridge was dusty! Bottom of tub was black! Mold on the sides of the air conditioner in the wall. I’ve got pictures of everything! We were suppose to stay a week Sunday thru Sunday and got there Sunday and left Tuesday morning because of the conditions of the room! No blankets on the bed only a sheet! The parking was terrible and if you parked behind someone you had to leave your keys in the office of the hotel. Never again!!!!! And we spent over $1800 for this room!!!!!

I thought for the most part the property was nice as it was just a short distance from the boardwalk. Although this was a plus, as we arrived our AC unit was not working and it had black mold in it. Not only that but our white sheets had ink stains on it. While the stay was fine, I believe they should look to fix these things before guest come. It looks bad on the establishment when this happens.

Great little place clean and modern

The rooms are very small. I booked a double room. Little to no walking space. The room smelled horrible. The smell was of old clothes, furniture and dirty sheets.

During a hurricane it was still nice! The location is perfect. You can walk almost everywhere. Boardwalk always wonderful no matter the weather. The room was adorable and bed comfy. Only issue was tv. I asked for help but didn’t get it. I had Roku tv which I’m not very used to. Couldn’t ever access regular cable tv to watch my football. But I figured some things out with the help of a 12 year old sweet girl in the next room. At least I got to walk the beach several times and see some blue sky in the process. Better than being at home during a rainstorm!

The location was the best part about our stay. It’s very close to the boardwalk & attractions. The staff were very friendly. Downside: the beds & pillows were very uncomfortable. I would stay here again if they had different beds

Great room as always, only complaint was the tv remote would only change channels and there were no buttons on the actual TV to adjust volume and it was very loud. Minor inconvenience, I mean, who watches tv at the beach anyway? Very happy and will be back again (not my first stay here)

The google pictures makes you have a whole different impression of the motel. The rooms are really small compare to the pictures. In my case the air conditioner in the room was more like a fan, we were sweating all the time and was really bad at night. I tried to get more towels at night around 10:00 pm and nobody was there to respond. You gotta leave the key of your car if you are double parking so they can move your car when is need it but the girl and the reception doesn't know how to drive. 😳 I think for the price you can find better options, I was at wildwood before and never have issues with other hotel / motels till this one. Never again.

It was very good. We had an end room with a huge deck, that was nice. The actual room was very tiny, but worked for what we needed. The fridge was so squeaky.. and parking was kind of annoying... But it was on a great location, and clean... And hot water!

It is a convenient location to beach an boardwalk . The mattresses were not good. Stayed down the street at a comparable place and it was better

The hotel did update the rooms on a tight budget it seems and they are VERY small! Definitely NOT big enough for a large family. My daughter had very limited space. We had a "studio" with a kitchenette, cook top and fridge. You couldn't cook properly because the lack of space to reach the cook top. You had to lift the microwave off the top of the fridge and set it in the counter to use it. There was no dish soap,missing silverware,no dishes or dish cloths. There are no closets to hang clothes, no hooks to hang wet wash cloths in the shower, 1 towel bar to dry a towel, no hooks for other wet towels or bathing suits. We had to lay the wet towels over a chair or off the bed posts to dry.We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and housekeeping never came to give us clean towels. There is no vanity in the bathroom to place toiletries. It was a pedestal sink that was VERY loose from the wall. This hotel has "piggy back" parking so you have to leave your car keys at the front desk if you park behind someone. It is on block down from the boardwalk entrance. Lot's of resturants near by and the owners are very nice. Other guests at the pool were smoking marijuana at the pool or outside their rooms everyday.

Property states that it is 2 bedrooms. It is one bedroom and the living room has a king bed in it, but no privacy. Bedroom is very small, can barely walk sideways to "closet" to put your luggage out of the way.

Name, Beachside Resort ( 2 blocks from boardwalk and beach) look like more a motel than a resort. room it’s ok but AC UNIT NOISE was an issue for us. We was expecting more than what we had for the price. Sanchez Family

Great location, but everything else was a mess. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude from the start. They claim check-in ends at 10pm, but nothing in my Expedia booking or email mentioned that. When we arrived, we were treated like a burden. Our towels were dirty, and we were told we had to wait an hour for replacements because the office was "closed." When we finally got them, more attitude. The TV remote was sticky and barely worked—no solution offered. The next morning, the same staff member barged into our room without knocking, then texted demanding we come to the office. There, she yelled at us for walking through wet paint—there were no signs, and now my shoes are ruined. She also falsely accused us of sneaking in a third guest (who was visible during all interactions) and threatened extra charges. She became hostile, and we had to call the police. They’re also threatening to withhold our \$200 deposit. After reading more reviews, it's clear this behavior isn’t unique. I’ve stayed in Wildwood many times with no issues until now. This place is unprofessional and feels like a scam. Avoid at all costs.

Property is pretty close to the beach. Parking is terrible. Our fire alarm went off we smelled smoke and no one responded. We had to go get someone, they didn't really seem to care. Overall it was a quite place, decent for a short stay.

It was a pleasant stay, but keep in mind that you won't find services like those of other big chain hotels. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect! However, there is no central air conditioning. Be sure to ask for extra bedding if you have kids. The toiletries are limited, but of good quality.

The Staff was overall super nice and had no problem helping us when needed. The pool was super clean and the walk to the boardwalk was only around 5 minutes! While there were TVs in the rooms they didn’t work on the cable channel nor when I hooked up my firestick. The only thing I would say that came as a surprise was when checking in there was a $200 security deposit for each room which we were unaware of. Other then that I would definitely book again.

Had brief issue with slow toilet, was addressed within 30 minutes by a very efficient staff. For the location being so close to prime area of boardwalk it is a great value. Parking a bit less than ideal(I was fortunate, the staff let me park in a spot is be able to get out of early without worrying if I was blocked by a car behind me and the office isn't open until ten. Other than less than ideal parking? Incredible value, I'll definitely stay again...

We did a quick overnight stay. Staff was super friendly and full of advise when it came to local restaurants. Room was clean.

DO NOT STAY here! To start I picked pay half at booking and the rest at check in. However, the hotel charged me the full amount a week after booking. Then at check in the front desk rep was so rude and even yelled at me when I asked why they were charging a $200 deposit when it was not advised at booking so I could come prepared. Also tried to charge me an additional $80 ($40 each for guest 3 & 4) even pulled up booking to show price would be different but it was the same a paid. After he yelled at me I demanded to talk to manager. He called him. The manager was nice and quick to resolve issue saying I would not need to pay additional $ or put a deposit just leave a card on file in case of damage. That was perfect for us. Then room was not ready for we went to the beach till they called. We were told the room was upgraded. By the time we got to really settle into the room it was very late. We had no toilet paper, 1 blanket for 2 beds, no fitted sheet just 2 flat sheets on each bed, no bag for ice bucket, and when we got tp and another blanket, the blanket was stained. Worse was the blood spots on the 1 bed’s mattress cover, bathroom door and tile on floor, and blood spots on the wall. When reported at checkout since office was closed, the front desk did not seem to care and then gave me a problem about leaving my car for a hr while we ate. After checkout they refunded the card I used to pay/book with and charged the full amount to the card I gave for deposit. No warning!

I found the office staff to be very nice people. They helped us any time i was in the office. The hotel staff were all over the place cleaning and taking care of rooms. I would love to stay there again

Would stay again. Easy access to the boardwalk and plenty of places to eat. Mini golf place off the boardwalk was only a 15 minute walk. Motel was what was a expected for a being right by a beach. Frisge worked good, AC worked good. Was a tile on bathroom floor that was a little concerning because it could be picked right up. The tv was sensitive if you moved it from left to right it wouls knock a wire loss and wouldn't turn on. Over all would stay again

Typical Wildwood beach motel. What set this one apart is the friendliness of the staff and walkable distance to the boardwalk. Seemed to be in the center of everywhere we wanted to go.

One block away from Morey’s pier and the splash zone. We got to check in early which is always a plus in my book. The room was nice and clean and the staff was amazing. Pool area is also a plus. The only negative thing I have to say is after the 2nd night you can feel how stiff the beds actually are. Other than that I would definitely stay here again!

Just stayed one night it was perfect for location and price. Room was clean. AC worked fine. Kids went in the pool. I would definitely book again next year. Less than two block walk to boardwalk. Parking a little tight but it works.

Great location to beach, boardwalk, resteraunts and liquor stores. Pool and room were clean. Had a microwave and fridge in room. Would stay again.
