The Good: The place is clean and relatively modern - looks like it's been refurbished within the last few years. The staff is friendly and helpful. Checkin was easy. The rate was reasonable for the area. The shower was hot, the TV worked, no observable bugs. There are power points in the room next to the bed. The Bad: Very spartan.No coffee in room or in office! Had to go to restaurants to get morning coffee (This is a major sin, IMO) Only overhead lights, no bedside or reading lamps. Towels thin. No products except for two silver dollar sized soaps. No shelf for soap in the shower. Ice machine requires quarters to get ice. TV works but is difficult to figure out. The Ugly: Not the hotel's fault, but there are a bunch of occupied junk trailers and campers next door on the street, surrounded by trash, so we were forced to drive to nearby restaurants to avoid walking by this mess. The neighborhood has several of these homeless encampments.

Hotel is old but was clean and very reasonably priced. TV was weird... couldn't find regular stations. The fella in the office accommodated my trailer in an area covered by camera. A couple lamps on the nightstands would be nice.

Location right off of the 101 and very close to lots of amenities. Pretty roses and cute fruit trees all over! Looks like the old pool is being converted to a garden. Adorable stray cat on property is very sweet. Owner and his wife were kind and polite. Very very affordable and was close enough to Monterey for our purposes. Right by the 152. Only 20 minutes from Casa de Fruta!

Extremely helpful and welcoming management. Clean, safe. Plenty of parking for large vehicles (although on a dirt lot- car parking right in front of rooms on asphalt.) Only concern is road noise from 101 for those who are sensitive. Didn’t bother me, as it’s a steady low rumble, rather than sudden loud noises. Would definitely stay again.

You get what you pay for. Traffic on the freeway was noisy all night, we didnt sleep, so ended up leaving at 6 in the morning. The beds were uncomfortable, the floors were dirty, bathroom door was hard to close, and comforters need to be updated. Staff was nice, easy parking, and easy location to freeway, but we'll pay more next time to be comfortable.

The room is reasonably clean. There are just a couple of nits: The road leading to the hotel is unpaved. The only paved area includes the area in front of the office and parking in front of the rooms. The shower area is tight, about 30 X 30. With tight area like this, it would be better if the shower is handheld. Otherwise, it is an OK stay.

Check-in was quick and smooth—huge thanks to the friendly staff for making it easy. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. We especially appreciated the two tables and several chairs in each room, plus the two nightstands in each room with built-in outlets and USB ports—super convenient for charging devices! While the rooms only had stand-in showers (no tubs), it wasn’t an issue for us. Plenty of parking available, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Overall, a great place to stay—comfortable, functional, and hassle-free!

Einschlichet aber gepflegtes Hotel. Wirklich empfehlenswert, dachte ich, bis ich in meinen weißen Socken durch das Zimmer ging und diese nach 3 m komplett schwarz waren. Ansonsten war der Raum aber sehr sauber und ordentlich

Walked into the room to a bug crawling across the floor, shower not cleaned. Property was a bit dirty and did not make a good impression, comparable to motel 6, though I’ve stayed in nicer of those as well :/ (but also some worse than this so take that as what you will)

C’est la pire expérience que nous ayons jamais eu dans un hôtel. La chambre était ignoble. Le sol était sale, collant, la table, les tables de nuit n’ont pas dû être lavées depuis 10 ans. Je ne vous parle même pas de la literie et des draps avec des poils et des taches sur les oreillers. Un cauchemar. J’ai dormi dans des centaines d’hôtel, je n’ai jamais rien eu de pire que cela. Après réflexion, il vaut mieux dormir dans sa voiture que dans cet hôtel. Fuyez.

The bathroom had a severe leak. You couldn’t wash your hands without flooding the floor. The bed had bed bugs, as soon as I went under the sheets I had an itching reaction, I left immediately. They gave me the handicap room because they had no other room. The room was a disaster.

Beds were hard! Every time we moved the bed sounded like there was someone pounding in a screen door. There were ants both dead and alive everywhere, in the shower, on the sink, in the bed. Dead ants were in the towels and the sheets.

Once we settled into the room, we started noticing that the cleanliness was not up to standard. The sheets had stains, the blanket had a hole in it, there were ants throughout the room, the toilet was heavily stained, and there was a corner near the bathroom sink filled with dirt and spiderwebs. While I do want to acknowledge the kindness of the staff, the room’s condition made the stay disappointing. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Television remote did not work despite replacing batteries. Toilet flapper valve leaked into the bowl occasionally creating a noise. An abundance of Fabreez is used to cover up smells. The smell lingered on my luggage and clothes after leaving the room.

This is not a place to stay. Half the outlet did not work “ oh the corner rooms are on one outlet I will fix it “ no hot water “ oh we just changed the filter . Our unit does not have hot water either” last straw a huge banging noise woke us up and continued. Called management “ It might be the generator “ Asked for another room. Got the second room. The sheets had sand in them . The blanket dirty I had a can of Lysol in my van sprayed the linen. Check out the doors when you close them filthy. I have NO idea how anyone gave this place a 10/10. Do not be fooled by the good reviews. At least the air worked

Water pressure too high! Shower was full blast or off. Flooded bathroom floor in only 5 minutes. Toilet ran constantly. No shelf in shower for soap. No tissues. Limited towel rack. No light near bed. Homeless encampment next door.

The room was clean and comfortable, but offered no "extras" of any kind. That, however, was more than offset by the kindness shown to me by the manager on duty. I had forgotten my cell phone charger, and he not only produced one to fit my phone model, but insisted on delivering it to my room personally.

The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly, but her husband was polite. Then our room was dingy, dated and bathroom was dirty with a few dead bugs and hair in the drain. The other guests looked shady as heck. Then while we got in our car about to leave, there was cops EVERYWHERE and guns drawn at some of the hotel guests. Looked like something bad happened with several getting arrested. Omg, the worst stay ever and I’m not exaggerating. Don’t stay here.

The other guests looked shady as heck. Then while we got in our car about to leave, there was cops EVERYWHERE and guns drawn at some of the hotel guests. Looked like something bad happened with several getting arrested. Omg, the worst stay ever and I’m not exaggerating. Don’t stay here.

Extremely helpful and welcoming management. Clean, safe. Plenty of parking for large vehicles (although on a dirt lot- car parking right in front of rooms on asphalt.) Only concern is road noise from 101 for those who are sensitive. Didn’t bother me, as it’s a steady low rumble, rather than sudden loud noises. Would definitely stay again.

Check-in was quick and smooth—huge thanks to the friendly staff for making it easy. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. We especially appreciated the two tables and several chairs in each room, plus the two nightstands in each room with built-in outlets and USB ports—super convenient for charging devices! While the rooms only had stand-in showers (no tubs), it wasn’t an issue for us. Plenty of parking available, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Overall, a great place to stay—comfortable, functional, and hassle-free!

Location right off of the 101 and very close to lots of amenities. Pretty roses and cute fruit trees all over! Looks like the old pool is being converted to a garden. Adorable stray cat on property is very sweet. Owner and his wife were kind and polite. Very very affordable and was close enough to Monterey for our purposes. Right by the 152. Only 20 minutes from Casa de Fruta!

This was our second stay at Travel Inn and the service warms my heart. We were stuck in a traffic jam on the 101 and the owner called me to make sure I was alright because it was getting late and I had not checked in yet. He was so genuinely caring for my partner and my welfare. As usual, it was nice and clean, close to the highway and lots of food options. The kitty cat that lives on the property is so sweet and likes to sleep in the planter on the corner. Five stars as usual. Thank you again for your care! Good luck with your courtyard garden!

You get what you pay for. Traffic on the freeway was noisy all night, we didnt sleep, so ended up leaving at 6 in the morning. The beds were uncomfortable, the floors were dirty, bathroom door was hard to close, and comforters need to be updated. Staff was nice, easy parking, and easy location to freeway, but we'll pay more next time to be comfortable.

Water pressure too high! Shower was full blast or off. Flooded bathroom floor in only 5 minutes. Toilet ran constantly. No shelf in shower for soap. No tissues. Limited towel rack. No light near bed. Homeless encampment next door.

The Good: The place is clean and relatively modern - looks like it's been refurbished within the last few years. The staff is friendly and helpful. Checkin was easy. The rate was reasonable for the area. The shower was hot, the TV worked, no observable bugs. There are power points in the room next to the bed. The Bad: Very spartan.No coffee in room or in office! Had to go to restaurants to get morning coffee (This is a major sin, IMO) Only overhead lights, no bedside or reading lamps. Towels thin. No products except for two silver dollar sized soaps. No shelf for soap in the shower. Ice machine requires quarters to get ice. TV works but is difficult to figure out. The Ugly: Not the hotel's fault, but there are a bunch of occupied junk trailers and campers next door on the street, surrounded by trash, so we were forced to drive to nearby restaurants to avoid walking by this mess. The neighborhood has several of these homeless encampments.

Super clean and stay worthy Motel. Clean updated rooms with plenty of space. The A/C unit is SUPER COLD! I usually travel with a fan because I’m a hot body, but I didn’t need my fan here. Parking space is clean and they have large rubbish bins with lids in between every other room for when your convenience to keep your room tidy. Mini refrigerator’s are not extremely cold, but do the job to get/keep things cold. Patrick at the front desk is incredible! He does his job thoroughly and pays attention to what you’re coming in for. Housekeepers are very tidy and clean. Parking area is mainly for one vehicle per room, there is a huge lot for over flow parking or vehicles with trailers on the same lot (that area is not asphalt so it’s kind of dusty). Parking area is very clean too. Walls are thick, you can’t hear a peep from neighbors. Most definitely recommended for anyone who needs a clean overnight stay, or even a longer stay. Gilroy outlets less then a 10min driver, Costco, target, super Walmart & dollar tree all about 5min drive away.

Great price nice room clean quiet area. No coffee in the room. Bed was good no working usb ports. Property needs weeding and cleaning. Tires stacked buckets strewn about in the weeds. Truckers parking lot was ok. Easy access to hiway south n north 101. Staff was good informative funny. I would stay there again.
