The place was so clean and cozy when we (my dog and I) arrived! Even though it had been snowing on and off, the host, David, was very communicative about the driveway and snow conditions. In general, the host was extremely communicative and helpful. Very welcoming! Everything about our stay was amazing. I planned on staying in for a couple days to decompress from reality and man, this spot did not disappoint. The hot tub was amazing, right off the "master" bedroom and the views were splendid. The kitchen and living room were just the right size, and the wood burning stove kept us warm all night. Will definitely be back here, and highly recommend for anyone needing a cozy cabin getaway!

We had the best stay! This cabin is so cozy and wonderful! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the hot tub is delightful, the view of the mountains from the deck is so inspiring, and the endless visits of birds to the bird feeders and the peanuts we brought were very entertaining. David, the host, has thought of everything to make your stay perfect. This was our third time to Deer Creek cabin and we will definitely be back again!

The views were amazing. Clean property. We had wildlife visitors, squirrels, birds, chipmunks, even had a couple curious foxes come on the deck in the evening. Hot tub was great. I highly recommend this place for a nice getaway.

The cabin was so cozy and homey with absolutely everything we could need! The snow fall was scheduled for the second day of our stay so we had time to enjoy using the wrap around porch our first night. We nestled into the couch gazing out the windows as the snow fell on the second day. The view is outstanding! Magical even! Various birds also played and feed right in front of the window pretty much continuously through the days. Our dogs never lacked entertainment. The creature comforts were plentiful, with a nice hot shower, plenty of towels and extra blankets, but the wood burning stove kept us very comfortable. The host communication was above par and we were never left wondering what to expect which is great for an overplanner like me. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience in this adorable little cabin!

Very nice, cozy cabin in the Rocky Mountains. Abundant wildlife, scenic mountain views, relaxing hot tub in a private setting. Close to some great hiking trails, 25 minutes to Conifer, 40 minutes from Denver. We really enjoyed our stay!!

This well-appointed cabin is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The decks on three sides of the cabin offer majestic views of the nearby peaks and surrounding meadows and forest. There is abundant wildlife viewing as well, and very close proximity to hiking trails. It is highly recommended.

Deer Creek Cabin was an amazing property to stay at! We couldn't be happier with our week long vacation in David's cabin. From beginning to end, David was communicative, helpful, and detail oriented. The cabin itself was full of kitchen utensils, spices, and oils. The main living area was cozy and had a beautiful view. And the highlight for us, the deck, had plenty of seating, a fully stocked Blackstone grill, and of course, the CLEAN hot tub. The location was perfect for feeling far away from the city, but plenty of accessibility to Denver, downtown Bailey, and Red Rocks. We had an amazing time! Deer Creek Cabin was the perfect getaway!! David has thought of everything to make your stay unforgettable. We loved waking up in the cool mountain air to feed our deck friends. There are many hiking trails and great places to visit close by. The hot tub at the end of the day in the cool air with the stars above was heavenly. Aspen Peak winery had live music and great food that made for a perfect ending to our stay. The information provided ahead of time as well as the notebook at the cabin were very helpful in knowing where to go and what to do. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back!!

We were looking for an authentic cabin that was somewhat remote, but not too far from Denver , where we were going to attend a concert at Red Rocks. This really was perfect. First of all, David was an amazing host! Communicated with us about everything we could possibly need to know before I would even ask him. Where to eat. Hiking trails. Fishing. He was really great! Within 5 minutes of arrival, we met a little squirrel who came right up to me. He wanted a nut.... Which David told us would happen, and where to get the nuts. Then, minutes later, my wife told me to turn around because an elk was right in front of us. Well, that elk was really a MOOSE! She crossed the driveway right in front of us! The next morning.... Two deer doing the same thing! We loved it! Then.... An evening hot tub bath and some wine.... It couldn't have been more perfect! We'll definitely be back the next time we need to get away for a few days!

Had a wonderful time with my wife. David is an excellent communicator. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and SUPER clean. Even had bear mace so we could go hiking. We will be returning and telling others as well.

Dave is an amazing host. The house has everything you need just bring. Cabin is quite and cozy. Secluded but close to gas, groceries and hot coffee. Hiking just minutes down the road, or a day trip to Estes Park or Colorado Springs. Will definitely be back.

We loved this cabin in the Rockies! Close enough to Denver and other sights. The peaceful relaxation cannot be overstated. If you’re a fan of beautiful views and the quiet of a mountain retreat close to the city this is the place for you!

In general, the host was extremely communicative and helpful. Very welcoming! Everything about our stay was amazing. I planned on staying in for a couple days to decompress from reality and man, this spot did not disappoint. The hot tub was amazing, right off the "master" bedroom and the views were splendid. The kitchen and living room were just the right size, and the wood burning stove kept us warm all night. Will definitely be back here, and highly recommend for anyone needing a cozy cabin getaway!

Dave is an amazing host. The house has everything you need just bring. Cabin is quite and cozy. Secluded but close to gas, groceries and hot coffee. Hiking just minutes down the road, or a day trip to Estes Park or Colorado Springs. Will definitely be back.

This was the third stop of our Colorado adventure. The cabin was great and really enjoyed the hot tub after long days of exploring. The outdoor entertainment was adorable! David is attentive and a great host.

We stayed at David’s because we were in Colorado for a family wedding. We wanted the mountain experience instead of staying near the rest of the wedding party in town. Wise choice as things turned out! The cabin is perfectly located, just secluded enough but not way out of it. Cozy, homey and stocked with everything you need. All you need to bring are groceries so plan to pick those up as you come into town. This was David’s advice which we took and were very glad. There are stores nearby but not a quick hop. We also brought our 95 pound shepherd who loved it. She was able to remain relatively free as she is at home. There are endless critters to feed on the deck and great bird watching. I had never seen a magpie before nor a Stellars Jay. We spent most of the time on the lounges on the deck soaking in the sun and enjoying the wild life. The hot tub was a bonus especially after a 2-day drive to get here. ALSO you do need four wheel drive for the driveway, its steep and has a narrow turning radius at the top. We had a rental Wagoneer and while it got up the slope easily but it was a beast turning it around. David is the best host I have ever dealt with. He wants you to enjoy yourself. Good tv (the husband can see his sports.) Really nice place. 10/10 Would stay again! Recommended. Pro tip: Bring groceries when you come in.

We just returned from a week long vacation where my wife and I stayed at Deer Creek Cabin. The property owner communicated with us extremely well and made our arrival and move-in very easy. The cabin was well equipped for our stay and provided everything that was described and that we needed for a nice stay. The owner, David, will likely tell you about the local squirrels and chipmunks that take peanuts out of your hand and they certainly do. This was probably the highlight of my wife’s trip and we bought all the unsalted peanuts that King Sooper had in stock. During our stay we saw mule deer, black, red and grey fox and two moose! All at the camp or within a mile. Great place, good value and a very friendly owner. Thank you David!

Had a wonderful time with my wife. David is an excellent communicator. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and SUPER clean. Even had bear mace so we could go hiking. We will be returning and telling others as well.

From the booking to the end of our stay, David communicated thoroughly. When we arrived the lights were on and the place felt so welcoming. Anything we could have needed/wanted was thought of. Of all the places we have stayed at in the past 4 years, Deer Creek Cabin was the best.

Deer Creek Cabin was an amazing property to stay at! We couldn't be happier with our week long vacation in David's cabin. From beginning to end, David was communicative, helpful, and detail oriented. The cabin itself was full of kitchen utensils, spices, and oils. The main living area was cozy and had a beautiful view. And the highlight for us, the deck, had plenty of seating, a fully stocked Blackstone grill, and of course, the CLEAN hot tub. The location was perfect for feeling far away from the city, but plenty of accessibility to Denver, downtown Bailey, and Red Rocks. We had an amazing time! We were looking for an authentic cabin that was somewhat remote, but not too far from Denver , where we were going to attend a concert at Red Rocks. This really was perfect. First of all, David was an amazing host! Communicated with us about everything we could possibly need to know before I would even ask him. Where to eat. Hiking trails. Fishing. He was really great! Within 5 minutes of arrival, we met a little squirrel who came right up to me. He wanted a nut.... Which David told us would happen, and where to get the nuts. Then, minutes later, my wife told me to turn around because an elk was right in front of us. Well, that elk was really a MOOSE! She crossed the driveway right in front of us! The next morning.... Two deer doing the same thing! We loved it! Then.... An evening hot tub bath and some wine.... It couldn't have been more perfect! We'll definitely be back the next time we need to get away for a few days!

We loved this cabin in the Rockies! Close enough to Denver and other sights. The peaceful relaxation cannot be overstated. If you’re a fan of beautiful views and the quiet of a mountain retreat close to the city this is the place for you!

Everything about the place was absolutely amazing. The host, location, cabin, amenities, hot tub, you name it. We had a beautiful time celebrating my husband’s birthday with our 8 month old and two pups.

Very nice, cozy cabin in the Rocky Mountains. Abundant wildlife, scenic mountain views, relaxing hot tub in a private setting. Close to some great hiking trails, 25 minutes to Conifer, 40 minutes from Denver. We really enjoyed our stay!!

This well-appointed cabin is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The decks on three sides of the cabin offer majestic views of the nearby peaks and surrounding meadows and forest. There is abundant wildlife viewing as well, and very close proximity to hiking trails. It is highly recommended.

Deer Creek Cabin was the perfect getaway!! David has thought of everything to make your stay unforgettable. We loved waking up in the cool mountain air to feed our deck friends. There are many hiking trails and great places to visit close by. The hot tub at the end of the day in the cool air with the stars above was heavenly. Aspen Peak winery had live music and great food that made for a perfect ending to our stay. The information provided ahead of time as well as the notebook at the cabin were very helpful in knowing where to go and what to do. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back!!

We absolutely loved our stay here at Deer Creek Cabin! The location and everything included with the cabin was awesome, but we were especially impressed by how clean everything in the cabin was and how helpful and personable David was!

Davids cabin is exceptional. We saw many critters come right up to the glass doors, heard coyotes while in the hot tub and watched deer roam around while drinking our hot chocolate. David was in constant communication with me, providing lots of tips and recommendations for the area. There are little extras that just make the place perfect, like firewood for the wood burning fire, guest passes for local fishing spots and even bear mace! We will be back!

The cabin was a fantastic stay, we loved our time. The first night we had a little bit of snow and just really added to the arsthetic especially as we were soaking in the hot tub. It was very cozy, really enjoyed feeding the fire with all of the plentiful firewood our host keeps for the place.
