The location was great, and the apartment fit our multi-generational family of 7, grandparents through twin 7-year-olds. There is no living room or place to relax together, but we were on the go exploring Reykjavik, and just gathered around the large kitchen table to play games or do activities. The TVs are in the bedrooms, where we watched the Olympics one evening - it wasn't a big deal to hang out there. The host greeted us and was so nice. It was also great that the apartment had dedicated parking, especially since we had 2 cars. We didn't have to find street parking. I would definitely stay there again! 3 large bedrooms (one bedroom with a queen and a single), two bathrooms/showers, very clean, and the location was great!! Close to shopping, restaurants, sightseeing - very walkable!

This is a beautiful old house, really a privilege to stay in this traditional property. Its cosy, warm and comfortable, and a brilliant location. A few things to be aware of. There is a parking spot behind the house but its a little tight to get into. The lighting in the house isn't great, its quite dim in the kitchen which was a challenge to cook and its only overhead lights in the living room - could really use a lamp. Its also quite noisy as its on a lively road and this is an old house that isn't sound-proofed. We had a lovely stay and the house was super clean with most things you need. Its really a fantastic location with many bars, shops restaurants on your doorstep, and all the sights in walking distance.

Alquilamos un apartamento de 2 habitaciones y estuvimos fenomenal . La pena fue que no pudiéramos disfrutarlo más tiempo porque nos coincidió con el día cultural de Reikiavik y estuvimos todo el día fuera . Ojalá hubiésemos tenido tiempo de pasar otra noche más allí . Era una apartamento en una casa tradicional peciosa en pleno centro de Reikiavik . No puede estar mejor situada y que tenga aparcamiento es un plus aunque como llegamos un día que estaba todo cortado no pudimos usarlo pero no importa . El apartamento , a parte de bonito es muy espaciosa y cómodo con colchones, almohadas y menaje de gran calidad. La comunicación con los propietarios también fue buenísima desde el primer momento resolviéndome algunas dudas y dándome buenísimos consejos . Nos hubiera encantado pasar allí más días ! Muchas gracias por todo

Very sweet, tasteful cottage in the heart of Reykjavik. Spacious and well-maintained, with dedicated parking. The proprietors were especially attentive and helpful. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Reykjavik.

Beautiful and convenient, this apartment is in the heart of Reykjavik - a short walk from all the sites. 3 large bedrooms and two full baths / a rarity in Iceland! Fully equipped kitchen and a banquet table dining space make it perfect for a family or group. Parking is on site but if you are bringing a bigger vehicle, bring patience as well as the driveway and parking spots can be tight if the houses are full. We got super lucky and saw the aurora borealis right above the house!

This place was perfect for our first night in Iceland. We were lucky to be able to check in early. The parking worked for us and we enjoyed walking around town and to the marina area. Great place and super nice and communicative host!

The apartment was great and had everything we needed. There is a small private parking lot, but unfortunately our large van was a bit too big to fit. Plenty of street parking within a few blocks though. Staff were very responsive to messages.

Wow! What an incredible place to stay for our first visit to Iceland! I will absolutely stay here again! It is in the most perfect location…walkable to everything! The decor is clean and modern, yet perfectly cozy for when you come back from a cold hike and want to relax. The beds were comfortable with crisp, clean sheets. The bathrooms were spotless and spacious. I can’t say enough about this charming, beautiful place! Thank you for an incredible stay!

Property was centrally located with plenty of stores and restaurants around. The instructions were clear and easy and the apartment was clean and well set up. Only 1 bathroom for 5 people but not a problem for the one night. I would definitely stay there again.

We had such a lovely stay at Old Charm Reykjavik apartments. The check in was really easy, and the host was really nice and contacted us during our stay to ask if we needed anything and if we we're having a good time, which we were! The apparment was clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. The appartment was in walking distance to everything in the city, and had a lot of nice restaurants just a minute walk away. I would really reccomend staying here!

Check-in was a bit confuse due to the address of the property, Cleaniess: The 2 bathroom sinks in both bathroon has a funky smell. Other than that the bathrooms are cleaned. The wood floor is dirty and a bit old that need to be updated. Host: Very nice, very responsive and accommodation for us to check in a bit early on arrive date and check out a bit late on depart date. Location: very convinience close to shopping groceries, restaurant and bus stop.

Beautiful property! Had all the amenities, along with free parking in back. Outside noise was a little loud with people outside being boisterous, but it was a Saturday evening and theres a restaurant/bar right across the street. Wonderful apartment! Beautifully laid out with 3 bedrooms, separated dining room/kitchen, living room. Well stocked kitchen with cooking condiments. Will definitely be back!!

Simple accommodations, close to many sights and transportation. Main floor wood floor was in rough shape and the stairs are a bit difficult to ascend and descend. Great location and couldn’t ask for better for the price with three couples travelling together.

Beautiful and convenient, this apartment is in the heart of Reykjavik - a short walk from all the sites. 3 large bedrooms and two full baths / a rarity in Iceland! Fully equipped kitchen and a banquet table dining space make it perfect for a family or group. Parking is on site but if you are bringing a bigger vehicle, bring patience as well as the driveway and parking spots can be tight if the houses are full. We got super lucky and saw the aurora borealis right above the house!

Great place for our family of 5, including teenage sons ages 18, 16, and 13. Fantastic location with easy walking to all downtown attractions, restaurants, and stores. Apartment had full kitchen and 3 bedrooms, plus living room and balcony. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Great communication regarding check in. Very happy.

Wow. Perfect location! (used bus stop#14-right by bakery)or Kex for pickups-kex has covering on rainy days) Best apt ever. 2 bedroom (full, single). Apt can fit 3 on pull out couch. Living room has door too so very private. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook and eat and drink. We couldn’t figure out how to use oven but we didn’t need it. Beds were very comfortable. Heating could be adjusted in every single room. Windows in every room. We didn’t use balcony but it had small table and 2 chairs. Blackout curtains were great but we always had windows open so light was coming in. Communication with apt host was very easy and she was very friendly. Only negative to apt was small shower. If you are a larger person you will not fit. Also water is warm but not really hot. Bathroom is great size. I would 100% be staying here during next visit.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming apartment in the old section of Reykjavik! We were able to walk to the harbor and the famous church. There were so many shops and restaurants also within walking distance, we did not have to use our car while here. The property manager was a great communicator and quickly responded to my questions. Highly recommend!

Check-in was a bit confuse due to the address of the property, Cleaniess: The 2 bathroom sinks in both bathroon has a funky smell. Other than that the bathrooms are cleaned. The wood floor is dirty and a bit old that need to be updated. Host: Very nice, very responsive and accommodation for us to check in a bit early on arrive date and check out a bit late on depart date. Location: very convinience close to shopping groceries, restaurant and bus stop.

Perfect home base for our day in Reykjavik! Centrally located with an early check in time. We were able to pop in and out as needed with kids and the beds were a very comfy place to crash on our final night in Iceland.

The apartment was great and had everything we needed. There is a small private parking lot, but unfortunately our large van was a bit too big to fit. Plenty of street parking within a few blocks though. Staff were very responsive to messages.

This is a beautiful old house, really a privilege to stay in this traditional property. Its cosy, warm and comfortable, and a brilliant location. A few things to be aware of. There is a parking spot behind the house but its a little tight to get into. The lighting in the house isn't great, its quite dim in the kitchen which was a challenge to cook and its only overhead lights in the living room - could really use a lamp. Its also quite noisy as its on a lively road and this is an old house that isn't sound-proofed. We had a lovely stay and the house was super clean with most things you need. Its really a fantastic location with many bars, shops restaurants on your doorstep, and all the sights in walking distance.

This property is literally in the middle of it all! You simply cannot find a better location in Reykjavik, and the house is so charming and perfect. The hosts were very accommodating and we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend.

This must be, hands down, the best place to stay in Reykjavik. Please hold a space for me! I would LOVE to stay here again and again as I am now addicted to Iceland. For downtown Reykjavik--no need to look anywhere else. This is the best place.

The property was exactly as advertised and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The location was great with it being easy to walk to any of the big tourists spots and there was parking. We reached out to the owners several times and they were amazing! The only item of not is the property is on a Main Street in a city across from a bus stop so there is some road noise but that is to be expected.

There were six people in our party, all adults ranging in age from 30 to 85. The house met our most important requirements - it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was in an excellent location and an easy walk to most places we wanted to visit. Because of the central location there was a lot of street noise. It did not bother us much since we have lived in a large city. But, if you are sensitive to noise it might not be the place for you. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.
