Helt ok för att vara 2 stjärnigt rent och fint. På minus ligger dåligt wifi och varm vatten som inte räckte till 2pp. Dessutom ligger det en bit ifrån de större Sevärdigheterna så mycket att gå.

The place is cute. We were somewhat disappointed that there were never staff available. Listing shows that staff is there from 12-7, yet they were not there our entire time. They were however available through whatsapp and fortunately we had that to contact with questions. The room is small and does not have anywhere to sit other than a desk chair. And they use a pump system for the bathroom, so taking a shower is very loud because the pump keeps going off. But our room was clean and they cleaned it daily and it was close to many things so we were able to walk a lot. If you want a cute place to stay, and don't need staff this place is it.

My husband and I stayed at Gardenia Suits in mid-September, and it was fantastic. The entrance to the hotel is kind of offset from the street in a cute gated courtyard. It also helped to minimize the noise at night. The rooms were very clean and a bit more modern than what you might get in the city center. They try to be more energy efficient so they have the key card slot to turn the power on in the room. The only issue we faced with that was that the hot water doesn't last for too long. We learned to take faster showers. We had direct contact with the staff just before check in and during our stay, which was great. They are very kind and friendly. We used their airport shuttle service when we arrived in Rome. You pay the driver directly (its best to have cash for this). The hotel has a few cafes near by for a quick breakfast. There are two subway stops that are about a 10 min. walk from the hotel to easily get to the city center. There is also a nice laundromat near by that we utilized a couple times on our trip. Overall I am very glad we chose to stay at the Gardenia Suites while in Rome.
